Detection of Dynamic Network Applications
Burián, Pavel ; Drahošová, Michaela (referee) ; Kaštil, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with detection of dynamic network applications. It describes some of the existing protocols and methods of their identification from IP flow and packet contents. It constitues a design of a detection system based on the automatic creation of regular expressions and describes its implementation. It presents the created regular expressions for BitTorrent and eDonkey protocol. It compares their quality with the solution of L7-filter.
User Interface Based on Kinect
Kapinus, Michal ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to create and evaluate a concept for the design of touchless user interfaces based on Kinect. It describes various devices and methods which are used for creating of the depth map. Furthermore the thesis includes the design of experiments that were used for testing of the speed and the accuracy of Kinect-based interactive kiosks. Results of these experiments are evaluated as well.
Environment mapping
Juriga, Jakub ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with various possibilities and methods that are available for studying especially of underwater environment. After comparing of the various methods, it is focused mainly on sonars and echolots from their history through their artition by type / kind of broadcast signal, kind of ray and possibilities of the resulting image display, to the different methods of reading of the image and the ability to analyze it properly. In the next part thesis, the attention is dedicated to the application of these technologies in different detection systems, due to the correct understanding of the detection, the principle of operation of the input signal and the gradual transfer to the resulting image suitable for further processing are described. In the conclusion, the already used distinguishing methods are described and also their potential future use.
Measurement of ECG signal for TWA analysis
Řezáč, Petr ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Kozumplík, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with possibilities of using wavelet transform in the field of surface electrocardiogram (ECG) signals denoising and ECG signals measuring. Several algorithms have been used to detect and estimate T-wave alternans (TWA), such as spectral method (SM), Poincaré Mapping (PM) or correlation method (CM). T-wave alternans, also called repolarization alternans, is a phenomenon appearing in the electrocardiogram as a consistent fluctuation in the repolarization morphology on every-other-beat basis. Electrical TWA has been recognized as a marker of electrical instability, and has been shown to be related with patients at increased risk for ventricular arrhytmias. Presence of TWA has been reported in a wide range of clinical and experimental situations including long QT syndrome, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, acute ischemia, etc. Projected methods of detection TWA are realized in Matlab software, and they are experimentally verified on real ECG signals from the European ST-T Database.
Contamination of the environment by crude oil originated fuels, its detection, remediation and prevention
Heclová, Naděžda ; Adamec, Vladimír (referee) ; Čáslavský, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on crude oil-based fuels and water and soil contaminations caused by these substances. Crude oil and the process of producing fuels out of crude oil as well as the fuels themselves (car petrol and diesel oil) are characterized in the work. The thesis also describes the methods used for their detection in the environment, the decontamination processes and the ways of petroleum products leaks prevention.
Obstructive sleep apnea detection using polysomnography
Smrčková, Markéta ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Králík, Martin (advisor)
This thesis attempts to find an alternative method for automatic detection of sleep apnea using polysomnographic data. The first part is focused on introduction to lungs anatomy and physiology of breathing, sleeping and cardiac system. The second part describes the process of sleep examination and particular components of polysomnographic data. The third part is focused on realization of specific method for sleep apnoea detection, application on real data and results evalutation.
Electric fault arc detection in LV network
Dubský, Martin ; Fencl, Jiří (referee) ; Dostál, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with arc detection using AFDD. Here is explained the general theory of electric arc. It also describes the principle of operation of the AFDD device, a specific type of instrument from OEZ s.r.o. and describe the test procedure for this instrument according to the technical standard. In the practical part, selected tests are performed and verified the function of the AFDD device in the event of a disturbance electric arc in the circuit.
Sensorless velocity control and positions of d.c. low-power brush motor
Svoboda, Jan ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Prajzner, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on sensorless control of low load brushed DC motor that is used in the actuators made by the Honeywell company. The first part provides an introduction into motor control and common used methods of speed and position sensing of brushed DC motor. Sensorless method of sensing described in this work is the detection of commutation pulses from the signal of motor current. These pulses are caused by brushes leaping over the commutator bars. Correct evaluation of commutation pulses can provide the information about velocity and position of the motor. This relatively new method of detection of commutation pulses is investigated and arising problems are demonstrated on measured samples of signal. Suitable methods of signal processing are then proposed. Infallibility of these signal processing methods is then proved on the set of signals measured under circumstances of supply voltage and abrasion. Then it is decided which signal processing method that sensorless control system can use is the best.
Game Environment Checking by a Swarm of Autonomous Agents
Heindlová, Tina ; Nečasová, Gabriela (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This thesis studies engine Enfusion and how to start with it. It describes the creation of a minigame to introduce the engine. Further, a backtracking algorithm for the detection of inconsistent states in the game worlds is introduced. Thesis describes how to create a simple world and its testing. The algorithm is tested and the testing results are discussed. In the end, it describes more methods of solutions.
Desing of method for position detection of autonomous convoy vehicles
Krysl, Jakub ; Mašek, Petr (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with autonomous convoy vehicles control methods. A real 1:10 scale model was choosen as a control and testing platform. As the main computaion unit serves the BeagleBoard xM which runs the used detection method.
