European Union and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
Srnka, Vojtěch ; Dubský, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Veselý, Zdeněk (referee)
Next year will the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories celebrate the 50th Anniversary. European Union, the most significant trade partner of Israel as well as the biggest donor of Palestine, was for a long time a mere observer of a situation of deepening of the occupation and postponing of its end because of building of Israeli settlements on the one side and of gradual division of Palestinian territories between radical Hamas and Fatah. Just in the autumn of 2015 the European Union decided to take a restrictive step towards Israel by setting clear rules of labelling of Israeli goods produced in those Israeli settlements. However, a harsh response has come both from the Israeli government and from some of EU member states. Therefore this work focuses on evaluation of the legitimacy of this move and on trying to assess the reason of its partial failure.
Udržitelné stavění cestou recyklace
Dobrovolný, Petr
Building industry´s high demands of energy and raw materials lead to a number of negative impacts on the environment and economy Considering the needs of sustainability, it is desirable to reduce the raw materials consumption and waste production. Using the principles of recycling and reuse of building materials can provide effective tools for achieving the goals.
Evaluation of industrial heritage
Navrátil, Oldřich ; Králová, Eva (referee) ; Zemánek, Václav (referee) ; Ryšková, Michaela (referee) ; Zemánková, Helena (advisor)
The main subject is evaluation of effective use in terms of care (not only within protection of monuments) in order to save and protect industrial heritage. Pointing out on critical issues connected with the end of production of traditional branches which played the key role in historical development of our cities. Nowadays abandoned buildings and sites are represented by memory of the place or its prosperity. New owners often don't share the positive approach to the industrial heritage, developers are seeking new sites, cities and inhabitants have developed new needs through the time. The work will demonstrate examples within European context and will make recommendations in monitoring and classification of industrial heritage to prevent undo able losses.
Design of excavator
Brza, Lukáš ; Zdařil, Zdeněk (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The design of the excavator follows requirements of machines for demolition work. The excavator is equipped with an innovative type of under carriage, which not only increases mobility over the demolition sites but also the visibility from the driver’s cabin. The components of the excavator, that improve the demolition work, are special types of tracks, suspensions and articulated steering. Tracks can change their shape to increase the stability and also to adapt to the diff erent types of ground. The suspensions with tracks are able to adapt to the terrain thereby they lighten the asperity. Suspension can also tilt or even raise the excavator and thereby increase the angle of visibility from the cabin. This function is necessary mainly when taking down higher constructions. Articulated steering is a new function that has never been used for excavators. This steering was chosen due to fl exible movement over demolition sites. The main aim of the project is to create a new design of the excavator, but more importantly to distinguish the excavator from the excavators already on the market, with regards to its esthetics and under carriage innovation.
The Value of the Building Land Which is Settled by Buildings That Are Determined for Demolition
Řádek, Lukáš ; Inwald, Miroslav (referee) ; Krejza, Zdeněk (advisor)
This engineering thesis deals with quantification of the value of a development land built buildings that are destined to be demolished. This thesis outlines the aspects of demolition procedures with subsequent usage of the building rubble for recyclation. The goal of this thesis is to illustrate issues of demolitions of bulindings situated on a development land and of determinativ of the total price of such land.
Technical survey of the family house
Odstrčil, Štěpán ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with diagnostics of one object divided to 4 residence units. Technical construction resarch had to be made due to owned wants knock down his residence unit and build a new family house instead o fit. Object is located on the street Žebětínek 17 in Brno-Medlánky. Demolition of Benešov. Construction changes in the 80's and 90's
WAGNEROVÁ, Monika
This bachelor thesis traces back the construction and urbanistic transformation of Benešov during the nineteen eighties and nineties. In contrast to the traditional history of art, which is usually focuses on projects and constructions of new buildings; this thesis concentrates on removal of original buildings and its complex. The author focuses on the urban renewal plan, which aimed to demolish the original complex of urban buildings in part of Benešov. This project, with architect Josef Pleskot involved, arouses critical questions up to the present time. These questions are being reflected and discussed in this thesis.
Analysis of work equipment that are suitable for recycling of construction materials and waste.
HOŠEK, Lukáš
The aim of my thesis is to give an overview and analysis of appropriate facilities for recycling construction materials and waste products. I deal with the generation of construction waste resulting from demolition procedures and examine the classification of the demolition waste and its subsequent usage in recycling materials processes. The work further addresses the usage of relevant earth-moving machinery in this sector, including relevant adapters for demolition works. The thesis also contains an overview of crushing units with selected technical parameters including theoretical performance. The main criterion for the distribution of mobile crushing units is the size of the inlet. The results of measuring cycles and data for the calculation of the efficiency of crushers at particular work in the processing of construction debris are also given. The actual performance values are compared with the theoretical ones. In all cases, the actual performance is lower than the theoretical one.
ANALYSIS OF THE USE OF MANIPULATION DEVICE FOR REMOVAL OF THE CONSEQUENCES FLOODS CAUSED BY TORRENTIAL RAIN.
HOLBOJ, Martin
The aim of this thesis is a simplification of the decision-making process during the removing of results of floods caused by rainstorms. The work analyses reasons of floods and indicates possible ways of efficient usage of the supporting machinery fitted with appropriate tools. Right after the flood the most important goal to prevent chaos is to get people affected by the flood back to their homes and restore their everyday life as soon as possible . Within this time the quality of the machinery used is not that important. However, the know-how concerning using the equipment is crucial.
