Use of a safety PLC for gas burners
Petr, Vojtěch ; Žlebek, Roman (referee) ; Polsterová, Helena (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is the safety of a gas burner control. The aim is to fully automate the system by using a gas burner safety control system (Fail-Safe PLC) so as to reduce to minimum the risks. Because great emphasis is placed on safety, so Czech standards and what is connected with safety control systems are discussed. This project is implemented in cooperation with industrial automation company ElektroMAR a. s.
Control system of the camera scanner for monitoring of plant growth
Zapletal, Ladislav ; Prokop, Roman (referee) ; Musil, Vladislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and realization of robotic drive of the camera scanner system of plants together with the control unit. This device serves as the carrier system of various camera sensors. The sensors will monitor both the growth and the physiological status of the cultivated plants in the growth chambers. The thesis describes the choice of electronic and mechanical components from which the device is built. The text describes a design of the PCB that will control the device. Part of the thesis is also a demonstration of the realization of the systém together with the illustration of the real form of the system and its testing.
Nonholonomic mechanisms control
Mareček, Tomáš ; Hrdina, Jaroslav (referee) ; Vašík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with a control theory of nonholonomic mechanisms. Examples explaining the application of dierential geometry notions are provided. More precisely, the area of Lie groups and Lie algebras is employed. Kinematic equations are constructed for a 3-link snake-like robot and a nonholonomic control system is derived in terms of vector felds. Additional vector felds are created by the Lie bracket operation to prove local controllability of the nonholonomic system. Finally, the snake-like robot’s moves are animated in MATLAB software.
Automation of test line for flaw detection of railway wheels
Hubený, Marek ; Matz,, Václav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of a control system for testing line using ultrasonic testing and magnetic particle testing. The test line is designed for non-destructive testing of railway wheels with detection and localization of surface and subsurface defects. The thesis describes the design and operating principles of the test line. On this basis, the design of a control system that controls various processes throughout the test line is clearly described. The proposed control system was implemented in the industrial application.
Control system for laboratory distillation column model
Chlad, Petr ; Šír, Michal (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis was to create a control system for laboratory distillation column model. There are two different models considered. Real and software model. For the real model suitable components were selected and the model was built. Software model allows safe testing of control algorithm functionality without the need of real model. The simple visualization that works with both models was developed. Both distillation column models - real and software - were tested as a last phase of work.
Control system of mouth-organ
Trukhina, Irina ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The master’s thesis describes development of control system for automatic mouth-organ. The process of development is divided into three parts: a concept of control system, design of hardware parts and development of software parts. Controlled device, system requirements and general design of the hardware and software components are described in the concept of control system. The detailed hardware design includes next processes: electronic component selection, printed circuit board design, assembly and debugging. The result of this chapter is electronic system, which function correctly. The aim of the last chapter is to specify and explain development of software parts of control system. Installation of required software and important aspects of control software and user interface development are described in this chapter. The goal of the thesis is to create a control system, which will function correctly and reliably.
Design of electric control small dispersed sources on the basis PLC
Morávek, Jan ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis summarizes the basic theoretical knowledge on the problems of controlling the small hydro power plants. Briefly lists the basic requirements for the control system and provides an overview of the available automation systems. The main part of the thesis describes the requirements for the control system and its specific design based on the Unitronics PLC.
CONTROL SYSTEM DEDUSTING ARC MELTING FURNACES
Blažek, Ondřej ; Klíma, Bohumil (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with control and process visualization system dedusting arc melting furnaces, the subject of this master´s thesis is electrical part of the ventilation system from the control system via industrial communication to the design of power components, which include the main fan motor powering inverter. Another part is paid to the design and description of the proceedings, a concept of the control program, design visualization, implementation, remote access and archiving of process values. The last part contains evaluation of the project in terms of the preparatory phase and in terms of commissioning, in particular the description of the additional work that had to be compared to the proposal for commissioning performed.
Control of dry wall tape (DWT) rewinder
Bis, Jan ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with a description of the industrial machine of the DWT (drywall tape) rewinder. The winder rewinds and cuts the drywall tape tape into smaller tapes, that are then sold. The first part contains a description of the winder, its structure and functions of its individual parts. The second part contains a description of the control system and the power wiring of winder. The next section contains a description of programming and setting of PLC, frequency inverters, and touch panel. Some modifications are then described when putting the winder into operation. The winder has been successfully implemented and built into a continuous shift operation. However, the development of the rewinder continues to improve its features and user-friendliness.
Design of a small CNC extension
Umlauf, Petr ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis it to design a fourth axis for a small CNC milling machine and a search in the field of control systems. The thesis is divided in to three parts. The first part is a search, with focuses on types of structures and their important parts. The second part describes two different designs. For the chosen one was made part of drawing documentation, a 3D model in Autodesk Inventor Professional. In the thesis were with calculations checked important parts of the design. The third part focuses on control systems that are suitable for milling machine. Mach 3, LinuxCNX and Grbl-Mega-5X were introduced.
