The objective of this diploma work was to form hypothesis about external consultant's cooperation. The hypothesis was based on personal practical experience working on projects with external consultants and also being in role of consultant personally. The research with limited extent was performed related to the theme of diploma work. Evaluation of formed hypothesis was performed and the results were linked to the theory of organization. In the theoretical part of the work the history of the sociology of organization and management consulting have been listed and described. Based on personal practical experience cooperating with external consultants and working in the role of external consultant as well I have suggested possible reasons for hiring external consultants. I have performed research with objective to identify subjective opinions about suggested reasons hiring external consultants.

Evaluation impact of the landscape structures on erosion and runoff conditions in given catchment area
Švandová, Tereza ; Sobotková, Veronika (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this Thesis is to determine the impact of landscape change and erosion in given watershed. This case is evaluating Kamenec cadastral area. Changes in crops and spatial distribution of the fields are evaluated first in 1954, when the monitored area was without agricultural cooperative farms and land was used in a smal land parcels. This was compared to the evaluation in 2015 when land was part of agricultural cooperatives and was used in large units. The changes in landscape and its use were imense. Land exploatation, heavy machinery and non conservation cultivation led to its soil compaction and deterioration of the K factor. To evaluate soil losses I used a method USLE and program ArcGIS

Synthesis and properties of complex π-electron systems with helical chirality
Houska, Václav ; Stará, Irena (advisor) ; Machara, Aleš (referee)
Planar shape-persistent macrocycles have been known for a long time and are routinely synthesized today. Non-planar 3D structures, however, still remain challenging synthetic targets in many cases. The objective of this Thesis was to develop a synthetic route to shape-persistent macrocycles containing dibenzo[5]helicene or its derivatives as structural units employing alkene and alkyne metathesis. The Introduction focuses on various methods of the macrocycle synthesis, on alkyne metathesis, and synthesis of helicenes is shortly reviewed as well. Then, the first part of Results and discussion describes the synthesis of 3,16-dichlorodibenzo[5]helicene and its derivatives. In the second part, the macrocycle synthesis from these dibenzohelicenes is discussed. The Experimental part provides a detailed description of performed experiments along with characterization of all new compounds prepared.

The influence of the psyche on the relationship between dance partners

Title: The influence of the psyche on the relationship between dance partners. Goals: The bachelor thesis deals with dance sport, especially the latin american dances, in conjunction with effect of psyche on relationship and subsequent performance of dancers. The thesis will focus on psychological states of individuals, their emotion, social interaction and cooperation in the couple. The aim is to do a literature review, accompanied with the information generated from non-standardized questionnaire, which will serve as one of sources of informations. The questionnaire will be sent to sport dance clubs in the Czech Republic, including the author's home club STK - Prague. Methods: As a method the author used interviews using a non-standardized questionnaire. The research group is composed of latin american dance couples, who are stratified according to their relational ties. The results are further processed through individual charts in Excel spreadsheets. Results: In Latin American dances is the basic functional unit of dancing couple and the leader is man. Half of the respondents use psychological preparation in their training. Only one respondent working with a sports psychologist regularly. Based on the responses received to the questions in a unstandardized questionnaire we can confirm, that the...

Current feminist discussions: transgender phenomenon in the context of the writing of Judith Butler
Šaldová, Kateřina ; Vodochodský, Ivan (advisor) ; Hájek, Martin (referee)
The title of this paper is: Current feminist discussions: transgender phenomenon in the context of the writing of Judith Butler. The author of the paper concentrates on a discussion of selected terms from Butlerian terminology - such as subversion and agency in the context of the lived experience and agency of transgenders. In a broader context, feminist theories are taken into account in respect to these terms as well. Can transgender perspectives be used as a useful and inspirational contribution? Can agency of transgenders challenge feminist thought in any sense? What is the role of Butler's thought in relation to effective feminist action? Having introduced the theoretical framings and critical discussion of important terms of Butler's theory in the first chapter, the author continues in discussing the strategy of subversion in the context of transgenderism in the second chapter. Both discussions are brought together in the third part of the paper, focusing on a qualitative research completed in Prague in 2003. The author concludes that certain challenges and inspirations arise when studying the transgender phenomenon and that the theory of Judith Butler can be used as an effective (feminist) tool. However, there should be a closer cooperation between feminist and transgender community in order to...

STM study of adsorption of metals on the Si(111) 7x7 surface
Setvín, Martin ; Ošťádal, Ivan (advisor) ; Nehasil, Václav (referee)
The work is focused on studying of a single silver adatom hopping inside a half unit cell of Si(111)-7×7 reconstruction. It is possible to estimate activation energies and frequency prefactors for hops between particular adsorption sites. It was necessary to make fundamental modifications on a low temperature STM as a part of the work. The modificaations have been made on top of a sample cooling system and on inertial motor for coarse approach of the sample to a tip. The vacuum properties of the STM chamber have been improved. A considerable progress in technology of electrochemically etched tungsten tip preparation has been achieved. Further treatement of the tips has been studied with accent on field emission effect on the tip apex. The 7×7 reconstruction could not be prepared inside the vacuum chamber. Reason is probably a poor degassing of the sample. Further planned experiments could not be performed so far. This thesis contains detailed theoretical analysis of the studying of adsorption sites. The tests of time dependent tunelling spectroscopy method are described in results.

Parallelisation of Ultrasound Simulations on Intel Xeon Phi Accelerator
Vrbenský, Andrej ; Hrbáček, Radek (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
Nowadays, the simulation of ultrasound acoustic waves has a wide range of practical usage. As one of them we can name the simulation in realistic tissue media, which is successfully used in medicine. There are several software applications dedicated to perform such simulations. k-Wave is one of them. The computational difficulty of the simulation itself is very high, and this leaves a space to explore new speed-up methods. In this master's thesis, we proposed a way to speed-up the simulation based on parallelization using Intel Xeon Phi accelerator. The accelerator contains large amount of cores and an extra-wide vector unit, and therefore, is ideal for purpose of parallelization and vectorization. The implementation is using OpenMP version 4.0, which brings some new options such as explicit vectorization. Results were measured during extensive experiments.
