Evaluation of the environmental good - The Eastern Slovak dam Ružín

The main purpose of the diploma thesis is to determine the willingness of people visiting the Eastern Slovak dam Ružín to pay for improving water quality, namely for the environmental good. Willingness to pay is determined by questionnaire investigation the contingent valuation method. Dam is a public good, which has no owner. We all use it without someone to care for it. This use is not positive, but negative in terms of pollution, clogging of toxic sediments. The theoretical part is devoted to construction and the need to build dam as well as environmental problems, which occur at the dam. This is related to the problem of public good and "the tragedy of the commons." There are the contingent valuation method and development of the questionnaire described at the end of theoretical part. The practical part consists of the evaluation questionnaire investigation and the linear regression model in terms of the parameters under which they were created identifiers variables and point estimates. Finally, it is converted by statistical analysis of the impact of variables on the amount that people are willing to pay.

Bachelor thesis focused on the importance of the civic association The Fairy Kingdom for tourism development in the tourist region of South Bohemia deals with its basic characteristics, product and service offerings, history and marketing communication. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part defines tourism terms, for example benefits of tourism, tourist region, adventure tourism, etc. and characterizes tourism in the Czech Republic and in the tourist region of South Bohemia. The practical part is devoted to the characteristics of the civic association The Fairy Kingdom and a questionnaire survey for visitors of South Bohemia Region.
Motivation and stimulation of employees

This bachelor thesis deals with the motivation and stimulation of employees at the University of Economics in Prague. In the theoretical part are determined the basic concepts of motivation and are presented some motivational theories. In the practical part are mapped the motivational instruments, that the school uses and there is processed a questionnaire survey. The aim of the work is to analyse the motivational system at the University through this questionnaire survey and suggest solutions that help improve the system of motivation and thereby increase employee's satisfaction.
Corporate culture in selected company

The majority of the work is devoted to the study of theoretical bases of corporate culture. In the practical part, I focused on the research of corporate culture of one specific company. I tried to identify the corporate culture by using a questionnaire form, studying company?s documentation and interviewing the company?s management. Based on this investigation, I drew a conclusion that the corporate culture of the selected company is most similar to "role culture" and "culture of hard work". The questionnaire showed that each employee knows his role in this company. The behavior of workers in role culture is expected, clearly defined by job description and set standards. I chose "a culture of hard work" because the risk is low and market feedback is fast. An important aspect of this culture is a focus on customer satisfaction and customer needs belong to long-term objectives.
Motivation and stimulation of work performance

The goal of this bachelor's work was the analysis of current situation in motivation and stimulation of work performance in one chosen company and to propose some potential changes, which could have to help to the company. For the survey was chosen company Duropack Bupak Obaly a.s., which is producer of paper. The surveyed statistical set consisted of 242 employees. The applied method was asking the employees and a questionnaire survey. The results have shown, that the motivational program of the company is not very elaborate, so on basis of the results were proposed recommendations on modification of motivational program.
Possibilities of the use of funds for tourism development in the region Tábor

In the work was performed situational analysis the Tábor region in terms of natural, historical, cultural and tourism infrastructure. Another part was questionnaire survey - citizens´views and tourists to offer in tourism in the region Tábor. In addition, it seeks to find possibilities for its further development of tourism in the region using funds from the EU. Part of this work is to propose a project and product package for cyclist to support tourism development to Tábor.
Human resource management in automobile industry

This thesis is focused on the analysis of employee motivation, as a necessary component of human resource management in a manufacturing company Dura Automotive CZ, k. s. located in Blatná. The thesis focus was so closely specified after agreement with the company management. The goal of this thesis is the analysis of current level of employee motivation in the company and the proposition of appropriate measures for increasing the firm's competitiveness and strengthening its position as a good-class employer on the labor market. The theoretical part summarizes the findings in human resource management and employee motivation. It also includes the company profile. The analytical part is based on questionnaire survey in the company, it describes the sample selection and the research findings. Employees are most dissatisfied in obtaining necessary information at the right time and communication, productive praise and constructive criticism from the supervisor. The employee-motivation is reduced by working under stress and performing of routine operations. The synthetic section summarizes the findings of the survey and propose recommendations. But it depends on the company's management, whether they accept and apply these proposals. The company, despite the impact of economic crisis in 2008, has maintained its incentive program. It place emphasis on highly qualified staff, their motivation and satisfaction, safe working environment and good relations in the workplace. The company also applies modern management techniques and work process organization.
Standart operation procedures for joint operations of IZS

The aim of the present diploma thesis is to point out the importance of creating and using {\clq}qCatalouge of standard operation procedures for joint operations of the IRS`` because the individual bodies of the Integrated Rescue System (hereinafter {\clq}qIZS``) had not been clarified as to what tasks they were supposed to perform on the emergency scene before such catalougue was issued. The creation of the said catalougues, based on the need to unite and coordinate the activites of the public administration as well as to set definite and unambiguous procedures and commanding authorities when on the emergency scene, refers to detailed responsibilities of the individual bodies of the Integrated Rescue System on the emergency scene. It is the most demanding but most promising form of standardization in the Integrated Rescue System. The theoretical part deals with the legal issues related to the catalogues and their incorporation into the laws of the Czech Republic and the origins of individual standard operation procedures. Emphasis is mainly put on the body of the IZS selected for the purposes of this thesis {--} the Police of the Czech Republic and its irreplaceable position in this broad issue. An analysis of one selected standard operation procedure shows how broad is a seemingly trivial issue like investigation. Using the outcome of the survey evaluation, the empirical part points out how familiar the policemen are with the issues related to the Catalogue of standard operation procedures and how ready they are to use the Cataloque as a legal guideline in an emergency event. The conclusion of the thesis include a proposal of the procedure based on the available written documents, experience and possibilities given by the Catalogue and cooperating IZS bodies. Also, there was made a comparison between similar issues in the world and the results of the procedures and solutions.
Corporate culture and the possibilities of its evaluation

This thesis{\crq}s purpose has been the specification and the evaluation of current state of a chosen firm{\crq}s Corporate culture and the proposition of suitable measurements for improvement in this area based on these findings. Object of this research was company GAMA GROUP, Inc., Plant 9. The research group was composed from 53 employees from the selected company. Theoretical information about the Corporate culture is summed up in the first part of this thesis followed by the description of the company and its history. Questionnaire Inquiry is the methodology used in this thesis. The questionnaire was composed out of 27 questions. Each question is processed into a chart followed by results and discussions. The results show that the culture of the evaluated company is not strong enough as is primarily visible in problematic communication and in the approach towards the company. The possible recommendations for further company{\crq}s development and Corporate culture{\crq}s strengthening are communication improvement, boosting employees{\crq} pride in working for the company and employees{\crq} identification with the company. The Assumptions of Commercial Services Development in A Chosen Area - Microregion of Lipno nad Vltavou

This bachelor thesis describes microregion Svazek Lipenských obcí in terms of tourism and identifies the preconditions for further development of this sector. As part of the processing work was performed in the territory of research in micro-business entities providing services and facilities engaged in tourism. Using questionnaire survey was identify the current capacity, competitiveness in relation to other businesses and the current range of services. The second part of research-driven interviews with the mayor and Mayor of micro-municipalities. This work allowed to detect the specific benefits of co-operation of municipalities Svazku and shortcomings, which to a certain extent, hamper the development of tourism in the territory.
