Characteristics of artistic expression in patients suffering from psychiatric illness
BAROŠOVÁ, Petra
The bachelor thesis is about the development and characteristics in theart work of five people with psychotic illness in the period of three years. The cases were collected in the psychiatric ward at the hospital in Tábor. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part collects information about psychotic illnesses and a description of the therapeutic approach to the mentally ill. It also describes the visual artwork characteristics of psychotic individuals, the work with them and the efforts necessary from the art therapists' side. The practical part describes each patient. Observing the individual stories, approachesused in each case, their artwork, changes and progress in their development. There is a description of approaches used in the acute stage of the disease and after stabilization, the patients features in the artwork and the arttherapists influence.

Assembly line innovation project for thermostatic heads at Honeywell
Fical, Karel ; Neužil, Karel (referee) ; Kubík, Roman (advisor)
The object of this work is to propose innovative solutions on the assembly line in company Honeywell. Optimization of this line will be achieved by changing the concept of calibration. The current stabilization in air-conditioned chamber will be replaced by operational calibration incorporated in the assembly line, which will depend on ambient temperature. This work will be mainly contained a description of the current status, the proposed changes and economic evaluation.

Deposition and mobility of Pb in floodplain of Morava River in Strážnice area
Gemeinerová, Veronika ; Grygar, Tomáš Matys (advisor) ; Hruška, Jakub (referee)
This work was focused on geochemical methods and analyses which were used for lithologic and facial description of floodplain sedimentary records and also for determination of depth dependence of Pb concentration and evaluation of possible mobility of Pb in six profiles, which were taken across the floodplain in two locations in the southern part of Morava River in study area called Strážnické Pomoraví. The aim was to confirm the stability of concentration of Pb in upper parts of all six profiles. Performing these analyses, a possible migration of Pb in lower parts of some profiles has unexpectedly been revealed. For better facial description of the profiles in floodplain fines, proxy methods such as cation exchange capacity (CEC), elementary analysis using energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (EDXRF) and also determination of content of magnetic particles using magnetic susceptibility in depth profiles were used. The results of these proxy methods were confirmed by conventionally used geochemical methods - BCR sequential extraction, elementary analysis with determination of Pb isotope ratios using ICP MS, and granulometric analysis.

Study of sintering of advanced ceramic materials
Stromský, Tomáš ; Hadraba, Hynek (referee) ; Maca, Karel (advisor)
The influence of various pressure-less heating schedules (CRH - Constant Rate of Heating, TSS - Two Step Sintering, RCS – Rate Controlled Sintering) on the final microstructure of cubic zirconia ceramics was studied in this master´s thesis. There were used nanopowders ZrO2 (stabilized with 8 mol.% Y2O3) with initial particle size 80 nm (TZ-8Y) and 140 nm (TZ-8YSB). Powders were cold isostatically pressed and pressure-less sintered in air by different heating regimes. It was found that for both studied materials the modification of conventional sintering (CRH) using lower sintering temperatures and longer sintering dwell times can result in samples with finer microstructure. For example, the sintering of TZ-8YSB ceramics at a relatively low temperature (1270 °C) but for very long time (60 h) led to ceramics with the same final density (99,25 % of theoretical density) and almost identical grains (1,31 m vs. 1,27 m) in compare with TSS (1440 °C/ 1290 °C/ 15 h). On the other hand, RCS method showed no positive effect on the microstructure of both materials in comparison with CRH method. The obtained results indicate that the microstructure of c-ZrO2 ceramics can be influenced rather in its third sintering stage (by CRH and TSS methods) than in the second sintering stage (by RCS method).

Stabilizace metodou GLS při diskretizaci MKP pro řešení proudění s velkými Reynoldsovými čísly

SMV-2016-06: Development of welding and brazing joints for mechanical assemblies
Zobač, Martin ; Vlček, Ivan ; Dupák, Libor
The subject of the project was further research and development of permanent joints of metal materials by electron beam welding and development of procedures of temperature stabilization of metal part. The outcome of the project were specific technological procedures for the given assemblies. The significant experimental demands were characteristic for this project.

Treatment of tungsten carbide in low temperature plasma
Brožek, Vlastimil ; Matějíček, Jiří ; Neufuss, Karel
Tungsten carbide powder was thermally processed in a water stabilized plasma, using the WSP plasma torch developed in the Institute of Plasma Physics, where the plasma temperatures can reach 30 000 K at the nozzle exit. Oxidation of the molten carbide was suppressed by a nitrogen atmosphere during deposition on substrates positioned immediately above liquid nitrogen level. Analyses of both the deposits and spheroidized particles in the 5 – 63 μm size range determined the W:W2C:WC ratios and mechanical properties.

Porovnání nekonvenční měnové politiky ECB a FED
Bohůnek, Matěj ; Hnát, Pavel (advisor) ; Marcel Bluhm, Eric Pentecost and (referee)
The monetary policy of the Fed and the ECB has greatly change as a result of the global crisis. The goal of the thesis is to analyse the evolution of unconventional monetary instruments in the USA and the EU after the outbreak of the global crisis and nowadays with the help of pivotal economic models; namely, the IS-LM-BP model and the quantity theory of money. In addition, the paper should assess the impacts of adopted instruments and programs and draw conclusions about their success. The theoretical part explains the IS-LM-BP framework and the quantity theory of money and describes the unconventional monetary tools that the central banks can use when the interest rates reach the zero lower bound. The practical part analyses EU and US economy with the explained models. Furthermore, the implemented instruments of the Fed and the ECB are described and compared. The thesis should be concluded with the claim that the transmission mechanism was restored with the help of the non-standard measures, however, the desirable price level stabilization has not been reached.

Monetary policy in Czechoslovakia 1919 - 1929
Prokeš, Jan ; Szobi, Pavel (advisor) ; Jakubec, Ivan (referee)
This study focuses on describing and analyzing monetary policy in Czechoslovakia between 1919 and 1929. Initially devoted to theoretical definition of monetary policy and approaches to the nature of money. The analytical part describes the most important events of the decade in terms of monetary policy. Particular emphasis is placed primarily on monetary reform, which made Alois Rašín in 1919. The work also describes a change in direction from the deflationary policy to monetary stabilization, on which has the largest merit Engliš, second significant figure in the Czechoslovak monetary policy in those years. As Rašín and Engliš contributed significantly to successful monetary developments in postwar Czechoslovakia. Rašin deal with strong inflationary pressures and gave rise to solid and credible crown. Engliš is behind the most significant economic boom in the history of republic.
