Effect of selected factors on the yield and health status of cabbage, carrot and onion
Koudela, M. ; Novotný, Čeněk ; Nedorost, L. ; Kocourek, F. ; Svozilová, L. ; Brožová, L. ; Doležalová, J. ; Kubíček, M.
The presented methodology summarizes the results of field experiments documenting that the selected factors influenced the development of important diseases, namely: 1. Alternaria blight cruciferous of head cabbage (in the years 2012-2013) (caused by Alternaria brassicicola) 2. Alternaria leaf spot of carrot (in the years 2012-2013) (caused by Alternaria dauci), and 3. Blight of onion and onion neck rot (in the years 2013-2014) (caused by Peronospora destructor and Botrytis aclada, respectively). The evaluated factors were: variety, crop density (carrot and onion, only), year and location. It is necessary to take into account the earliness of evaluated cultivars that also represents an important aspect of variety resistance to pathogens. In the annex, there are diagrams showing the course of air temperature and air humidity as well as the length of moistening period of leaves at both experimental locations in Troja and Svijansky Újezd in the individual years. Changes of these variables significantly influenced, in interaction with the other factors, the development of phytopathogenic fungi on the infected plants in the individual years.

Work and Importance of Medical Clowns
Berka, Tomáš ; SEDLÁČEK, Martin (advisor) ; BERGMAN, Aleš (referee)
This master thesis presents a view of work and impotence of medical clowns in Czech hospital facilities. It unveils the organizational structure and history of the same name company, which sponsors medical clowns in the Czech Republic. It presents all the important parts of complex performance that are essential for medical clowns. Therefore, the clowns are able to visit patients and use their artistic performance to pozitively influence their psychical condition. This leads to patients‘ physical health improvement. The thesis defines „klauniáda“ as a means to reach those goals and presents specific patters of theatrical performace in hospital facilities. It deals with structure of klauniády with use of particular stories, author’s life experience and proffesional researches. It also answers the questions related to the medical clowns‘ contribution.

The thesis describes my personal experience which I gained during my studies at the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU), rehearsals at the Theatre Studio Disk as well as experience gained out of school. This experience is illustrated with several examples of practical work which I participated in.

The influence of longterm unemployment on work motivation
Tycarová, Iveta ; Chýlová, Hana (advisor) ; Josek, Mikuláš (referee)
For the bachelor thesis was chosen the topic "The influence of longterm unemployment on work motivation." Specifically, the issue of returning to work after maternity / parental leave. The reason for selecting the personal experiences of finding employment after maternity / parental leave and personal experience with the course "Education for women / men on maternity / parental leave". Also, nationwide importance of the topic and a certain marginalization. Bachelor thesis is focused on the unemployed in Rokycany in the Pilsen region. In this work, access to the statistics of the Labour Office Pilsen. From the statistics were obtained data on the unemployment situation in the region. The aim is to penetrate into the problems of parents returning to work after maternity / parental leave and assess what effect the return of a specialized course completion. This work compares success in finding jobs for the unemployed who have completed a specialized course and who does not. The data was electronically distributed among the participants of the above mentioned course through questionnaire survey, also part was filled with the long-term unemployed parents after maternity / parental leave, in cooperation with the Labour Office in Rokycany. On the basis of information obtained from the literature and from a personal investigation are drawn appropriate conclusions, tested set of statistical hypotheses and draw recommendations for practice.

Hydrological and soil erosion control importance of non-productive habitats in coal post-mining landscape restoration
Korol, Daniel ; Hendrychová, Markéta (advisor) ; Kovář, Martin (referee)
The present thesis deals with the issue of a literature review of surface mining in Most and its surroundings. It focuses on changes in the area due to surface mining, and describes their remedy in several ways. Emphasis is on water treatment and other affected constituents in nature. It also deals with describing a detailed definition of the area and non-productive habitat. The following section contains a methodology for field measurement - infiltration attempt made by a single-cylinder, during which found the average hydraulic conductivity of forests, meadows, successions and ruderals. The experiment was conducted at the lignite quarry dumps Czechoslovak army, Ležáky and Vršany.

Prologue
Procházka, Jiří ; DAŇHEL, Jan (advisor) ; Brothánek, Adam (referee)
In film, the term “prologue” nowadays denotes almost everything that appears before the opening credits. The meaning of this word is not fixed. This thesis does not define the “prologue” phenomenon and does not wish to describe it in the historical context of art spheres. It deals with the opening scenes at the beginning of a film before the onset of the actual composition of the main story and addresses their functions in the entire dramaturgic structure of the work. To facilitate the apprehension and description of “prologue”, the thesis attempts to generalise the term and classify it into several groups according to defined criteria. It does not set itself the objective of forming a definition but of analysing the dramaturgic structure of a conventionally understood term “prologue” and initiating a discussion on all fronts of the film-making profession about this tool that can do more than just touching up the first few minutes of a film.

Robust Regularized Discriminant Analysis Based on Implicit Weighting
Kalina, Jan ; Hlinka, Jaroslav
In bioinformatics, regularized linear discriminant analysis is commonly used as a tool for supervised classification problems tailormade for high-dimensional data with the number of variables exceeding the number of observations. However, its various available versions are too vulnerable to the presence of outlying measurements in the data. In this paper, we exploit principles of robust statistics to propose new versions of regularized linear discriminant analysis suitable for highdimensional data contaminated by (more or less) severe outliers. The work exploits a regularized version of the minimum weighted covariance determinant estimator, which is one of highly robust estimators of multivariate location and scatter. The performance of the novel classification methods is illustrated on real data sets with a detailed analysis of data from brain activity research.

Communicative Strategy of the Town Třebíč
Mrázková, Eliška ; Vochozková, Jacqueline (advisor) ; Khendriche Trhlínová, Zuzana (referee)
The subject of my final thesis is to emphasize the importance of communication and the usage of communicative tools in towns (by municipal authorities). The theoretical part is focused on the principles of communication and municipal marketing in relation to the public sector. The practical part is devoted to the evaluation of communicative strategies of the town Třebíč aimed at chosen age groups. The reason why I have chosen Třebíč for this analysis of communicative activities is its wide variety of communicative tools which the local municipal authorities use. In the conclusion there are suggestions for the future usage of communicative tools by the town (Třebíč municipal authorities).

Comparative Analysis of Liberal and Mandatory Health Insurance Systems (specifically the USA and Czech Republic)
Topinková, Kateřina ; Krebs, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Brabec, Petr (referee)
The thesis aims to critically compare liberal and mandatory health systems, and based on detected advantages and disadvantages of each, propose certain solutions and recommendations to optimize the health care system. During this task it also puts into context historical, legal and ethical backgrounds which strongly influence the system set up. Optimal adjustment of the health care system is an issue that worries most of the world's countries and this thesis, with it's unbiased evaluation, proposes suggestions on potential better functionality and effectiveness of health care. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the major economical terms connected to health care and the typology of healthcare systems. In the following practical part, the US and the Czech healthcare systems are analyzed as the representatives of the liberal and the traditional mandatory health care systems by the international comparison method and the result shows positive experiences from the systems, applicable especially for the Czech Republic.
