Importance of marking foods in the Czech republic
Průšová, Monika ; Kocmánková Menšíková, Lucie (advisor) ; Klouček, Pavel (referee)
The Bachelor Thesis is focused on the marking foods on the Czech market and on its importance for the 3rd year students who study Public relations and Regional development, at the Czech University of Life Sciences. The main aim of theoretical part is to peruse the most important matters concerning about regional development, food and its social importance, and introduce the legal framework of the Czech law and the main regional documents which are related to this subject.. The aim for secondary data analysis is to find a context between the legal framework, the main regional documents and the subject matter. Comparison from the both analysis shows the main regional documents do not focus on the subject matter in that range as the Czech law does. The legal framework in Czech law has two main laws that deals with subject matter and determine duties for providing marks and producing safe foods. Another mentioned laws can be described as supporting but not less important as they help to define the range of producers and marks´providers´rights and duties as deception and misleading information as forbidden. Secondary data analysis identified a food marking systems on the Czech market. There were identified European system of food marks, National system of food marks and Regional system of food marks. The aim of semi-structured interviews with students was to determine the students´ knowledge and overwiev in the subject matter, to find if marks influent them in the shopping decisions. The number of students is set up on thirty. The empirical research shows 70 % of students perceive the marking food as a marking of a quality. One third of students think the food marks does not bring any benefits and mainly it is good only for producers. By students is known only a fifth of trading marks and it is mainly from the national system of food marks. The food marking does not influent two third of students, the main reason they mention is they do not have enough information about food marks on the Czech market. Comparition of gained data throught semi-structured interviews concludes that the inadequacy of food labeling in the Czech Republic is heading probably to incomplete or inadequate information to consumers on foods marking systems in the country.

The Instruments of Social Worker in Social Work with the Family and the Child with disability
BUDKOVÁ, Kateřina
The objective of this research paper is to elaborate on issues surrounding coope-ration between families with children with disabilities and social workers who provide them with relevant social services. Family represents a core aspect of nurture, and is irreplaceable in the overall child's welfare. It today's society the families are also supported by qualified social workers who help with care for disabled children. There is variety of rehabilitation programs available with qualified professionals providing services that encompass medical, social, and educational qualities. Within these rehabi-litation programs it is necessary that a multidisciplinary, and well-functioning team is established with each professional playing a specific role. In addition, active cooperati-on of all family members is essential. Social services as well as state institutions play a vital role in aiding these families. The goal of this paper is to identify the role of institutions and social workers aiding families with children with disabilities. The research includes organizations whose social services are primarily focused on assisting families with disabled children. Qualitative research was performed to support the empirical portion of this paper. Coll-ection of data was accomplished by interrogations with structured discussions. The examined sample included ten social workers providing services to families with chil-dren with disabilities. The pivotal question was established as part of this research, as follows: To what extend does the complex support of a disabled child include both the family and an institution? A secondary question was posed as follows: How does a fa-mily manage disabled child's welfare in instances where social institutions and workers are not relied upon? The conclusion of the research established that the social workers mainly function as a support system for families with children with disabilities. Social institutions and workers mainly assist to such families with difficult social aspects, providing direction, and laying out options for child's development. However, the key effort lies within the family itself. Additionally, the study established that utilizing of the social workers by the families is advantageous. It was also made clear that it is extremely challenging for families to care for their disabled child on their own.

Analysis of the gas flow when pumping vacuum for newly designed scintillation detector
Poruban, Milan ; Vaculík, Sebastian (referee) ; Maxa, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to study the issue of eniveromental scanning electron microscopy and pumping gas to create vacuum in the newly designed scintillation detector. Further, creating a model of recently proposed scintillation detector and simulating and analyzing pumping gas in differentially pumped chamber of detector. The theoretical part deals with electron microscopy, electron sources, electron optics and secondary electrons detectors. It is also presented which signals are generated by the electron beam on the surface of a solid. Further fluid flow issues and equations describing the flow in the solved chamber are dismantled. Furthermore, the impact of gaseous environment on the trajectory of primary electrons, because there are collisions of primary beam with atoms and molecules of gas. The following section discusses creating, quality and importance of the network in mathematical modelling. A method of a final volume used to calculate the differential equations describing the flow of gas at the premises of the detector is described . The practical part consists in creating a model of scintillation detector and analyzing the gas flow in drawing a vacuum in the newly designed scintillation detector. At the end the simulation results of gas flow are compared for different variants of apertures and various pressures on the neck of a scintillation detector designed for optimum performance of the detector. The outcome of this thesis is model of newly designed scintillation detector with optimized shapes of apertures according to functional requirements.

Real earnings and efficiency resulting from new approaches to POS
Pokorný, Jaroslav ; Přibil, Jiří (advisor) ; Zelená, Veronika (referee)
On the Czech market is beginning to appear more and more software solutions of cash registers. A few years ago were Point of Sales (POS) systems rarely seen, especially in an restaurants. Nowadays, there is a proliferation of POS systems across the market. Not only in restaurants but also in convenience stores and stores providing services. Which POS system choose? In this work, I deal with the question: Whether we should purchase POS from a stable developers or give preference to young developers of POS solution. Respectively, what solution can increase efficiency and possibility of profit. The aim is to determine whether long-term development of older POS solutions is still effective and competitive with new solutions. The secondary objective may also be a recommendation of what product might be a good candidate for the position of cash register software in your business.

Effects of judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union on trade mark law with further analysis of cases concerning the L'Oréal Group
Kubínová, Aneta ; Bič, Josef (advisor) ; Němcová, Ingeborg (referee)
This thesis analyses the effects of judgements of the Court of Justice of the European Union on a particular company represented by the French transnational corporation L'Oréal Group. In the first chapter I explain the system within which the protection of the intellectual property is realised. Firstly, I define the key concepts of the intellectual property, and then I introduce the means of the legal protection of the intellectual property on both national and international level. The analysis of the trademark law of the European Union follows in the second chapter where I examine its presence in both primary and secondary law, where I describe the roles of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market and where I introduce the most important judicature of the Court of Justice of the EU related to the trademark law. The third chapter is of the highest practical importance as it contains the discussion on the effects of judgements of the Court of Justice of the European Union on the L'Oréal Group in the form of a case study. Firstly I analyse the economic strategy of the group and I assess the importance of trademarks for L'Oréal, then I introduce the most important cases of the Court of Justice of the EU in which L'Oréal has been a party to the dispute. I conclude this chapter with the analysis of the effects of judgements of the Court of Justice of the EU on L'Oréal.

Current changes in orientation of the German economic diplomacy
Dírerová, Daniela ; Peterková, Jana (advisor) ; Zemanová, Štěpánka (referee)
Diplomacy is a unique tool of foreign policy for enforcing its interests among other actors in the international system. However, this means is not in an existential vacuum and thus has to react on dynamic changes in international environment for its effective functioning. Raising interest of international trade liberalization and growing importance of private sector in creation of foreign policy forms further development of the diplomacy. Thus, the economic diplomacy is becoming more important with an aim to implement country's vision in economic area. This topic is the main subject of the presented bachelor thesis. In 2012, German government published document "Shaping Globalization - Expanding Partnership - Sharing Responsibility". The primary aim of the thesis is to examine the influence of this new strategy on the German economic diplomacy. The key part of the thesis is dedicated to the strategy itself and is divided into multilateral (macro) and bilateral (mikro) objectives. First aspect pursues economic priorities on a level of international organizations. Bilateral part analyses reasons why Germany decided to orient economically on so called new players, why is Germany interested in their mutual commercial relations and which challenges result from it for the economic diplomacy. The secondary aim is to explain the structure, tasks and decision making process of the German economic diplomacy, because this information is not provided in detail by neither Czech nor Slovak scholar publications.
