Subject of the thesis is project documentation of reconstruction of two very near intersections on road II/351 in Třebíč. Directional traffic research was done in order to compare suggested variants, (spiral) turbo roundabout was selected for further working-out of the project. Project solves road traffic including public bus transport, sidewalks and rehabilitation of joining streets.

Reconstruction design of Húskova Street in Brno

The aim of this diploma thesis is reconstruction design of Húskova Street in Brno, which is located in Černovice district. Static traffic, cycling and movement of pedestrians will be solved within reconstruction. The project was processed in four variant solutions. Variant A is emphasised on maximal number of parking space in draft form 45° angled parking driving ahead, variant B takes into account existing condition, the number of parking space and cycling, variant C leaves current status and adjustment consists of marking by horizontal road marking, in variant D is once again effort for maximal number of parking space, but with driving to the place by reversing. Evaluation of variants was done and variant B was chosen for detailed processing

Multifunctional house Prudký - construction technology project

The aim of this Diploma Thesis is constructionally - technological solution of the rough construction of polyfunctional house on the corner of Bánskobystrická and Medlánecká streets in Brno Řečkovice. In the Diploma Thesis I will deal with the plan of the work procedure of the execution of roof construction layers, machine sets, itemized budget, construction schedule, construction site equipment, inspection and testing plan, ecology and transport relations related to the construction. I would like to point out the complication of the construction with a lack of space because the construction is in the area of Brno Řečkovice. The plan of construction execution was more difficult due to lack of space for storage of materials and machinery handling.

Assessment and proposal of the river restoration measures in urban and rural landscape

This diploma thesis deals with a proposal and evaluation of stream restoration measures as an effective tool to achieve good ecological status within the requirements of the Water Framework Directive 2000/60/ES. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to propose stream restoration measures at the Lišanský Brook based on evaluation of hydromorphological status, analysis of land-use changes and anthropogenic modification of the river basin, runoff and water quality assessment. Attention is also paid to the evaluation of the restoration measures in the selected localities on Botič and Litovický Brook. The main method used for the design and assessment of stream restoration measures is a field survey using the HEM methodology (Langhammer, 2014). Land-use analysis and stream adjustment analysis are based on available historical maps. Based on the results, Lišanský Brook is evaluated as moderately modified. The entire river basin is an intensively farmed landscape that has been affected by inappropriate anthropogenic modifications. To improve the current unsuitable stream conditions, it would be convenient to apply complete restoration measures on Lišanský Brook. Brno waterfront - rehabilitation of rivers and their surrounding areas

The theme of the diploma thesis "Brno waterfront - rehabilitation of the Brno rivers and their surroundings" is creating an urban proposal in Brno, Zábrdovice, on the eastern waterfront of the Svitava river. The intention is to use the potential of the area and create the possibility of lucrative housing by river with a commercial ground floor, services, leisure time park with a multifunctional playground and easy direct access to the Svitava river. The studied location, has an area of 6.32 hectares andis defined mainly by the Zábrdovická Street and the Svitava River near the former Premonstratensian Monastery, which now serves as a Military Hospital. At present, the location has mainly low-floor industrial buildings with storage and expedition functions. The proposed buildings relate to existing buildings on the east and west banks of the Svitava River. They have the form of four to six storey blocks, which are characteristic for this area. The park connects to the revitalized eastern embankment of the river at the site of a new footbridgethat connects both rive sides and stairs. They provide space formeetings and relaxation, but also serve as a flood control in the event of a water inflow. Along the Svitava River there is a sidewalk with street alleyways and access to the river.

Urban study of development area Vítkovice - Moravská Ostrava

Territorial studies urban area in Ostrava in the Vítkovice has a long industrial history. It is an area inaccessible to the public and former industrial brownfield. The thesis aims to open up this area and integrate it in the neighboring city of Ostrava. It is also suggested revitalization of the former industrial site for a new multipurpose building and construction of a new urban district with urban greenery.

The town of Opočno in topographic sources of the 18. and 19. centuries

TŮMOVÁ, M., The town of Opočno in topographic sources of the 18. and 19. centuries, diploma thesis, The Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, 2014, 191 p., 11 app. The topic of the diploma thesis is to capture the town of Opočno and its landscape in selected significant topographic sources of the 18th and 19th century. The main aim is to compare relevance and value of the selected significant sources and to assemble a picture of the town's landscape in the past. An introduction integrates the topic of the diploma into various historic regionality and covers a brief history and description of a state of the town of Opočno. The thesis is divided into several chapters according to the selected sources. We paid particular attention to cadastral documentation of the first Military Survey and to Stable cadaster that includes written and cartographical materials of the town. These sources are comparable because of the diverse time interval and the different purposes of origin. In order to provide thorough understanding of the studied sources and the region, the thesis includes picture elements, supplements and samples of historic and contemporary maps. Railway station Brno - Královo Pole

The existing railway station "Brno-Kralove pole" is the second largest railway station in Brno, which has about 10,000 passengers daily, and serves for transfers between different modes of transport. The building of the existing Brno-Kralovo Pole railway station is located in front of a high-speed bridge and there aren't much space for situating of the new transfer center. In the framework of the reconstruction of the existing railway station, was created a complex reconstruction, combined with the improvement of the internal arrangement of the building. The reconstruction of building was made according to modern quality standards of transport and passenger comfort.

Old - new urban spa

The bachelor thesis deals with the town spa in Zábrdovice by architect Bohuslav Fuchs. Spaces were inserted into the spa, which did not burden their construction with their functions. The urbanistic study deals with the Zábrdovice area, which will become the Military Campus.
