Motivation of primary school children to sports activities

This thesis focuses on the motivation of pupils attending primary school towards the sports activities. The work is divided into theoretical and research section. The theoretical part explains the concepts related to the thesis itself, especially the concepts of leisure activities, physical activities and the concept of sport. Furthermore, the theoretical part is focused on the developmental stages of personalities, the concepts of motivations, incentives, needs, rewards and motivational structure of sportsmen. The aim of the research part of this thesis was to determine the current state of motivation of the pupils attending primary school towards the sports activities. To accomplish this aim, a method of questionnaire survey was used. The research section also deals with the relationships among the monitored variables in the survey. The results of this work provide new information about motivation of children towards sports activities.
Christian virtues, personality of an elementary teacher and his moral impact on pupils

The paper deals with a question whether it is possible to identify any character elements of an elementary teacher that would agree with Christian virtues. First, we define the notion of a virtue and view the virtues from the historical development. Further, we divide the virtues into cardinal and theological ones. After that we characterize the term value from philosophical and psychological point of view, inclusive of the term character. In the second chapter, we mention the teacher's personality, the significance of teacher's example and his moral effect on pupils. In the last chapter, we provide a qualitative research using a content data analysis. From the qualitative research we can see that virtues can be found in attitudes, personality traits and values. The transmission of virtues occurs mainly by its own example of each teacher.
The Role of Teaching Practice in Development of Student of the Teachers Training for Primary School

The diploma thesis named Pedagogical practices and their tasks for primary school teachers' development deals with the topic of the pedagogical practices at colleges and universities. The thesis finds out the extent of students' being ready for carrying the practice out. The following task of the thesis is to describe what the students and beginner teachers think about the practice. The theoretical part is aimed at the pedagogical practice process and its connection with the primary teachers' education. Important part of the thesis is to compare the time extent of the practice at different colleges and universities. The practical part works with the qualitative research. The used methods for this part are questionnaire and interview. The pedagogical faculty students describe their experience with the pedagogical practices. The beginner teachers evaluate the level of the practices. Emotional intelligence of teachers

This bachelor thesis deals with the emotional intelligence of teachers. The aim of this work is how teachers perceive their competencies in the field of emotional intelligence. The theoretical part consists of three chapters which are devoted to emotional intelligence, helping and teaching professions and teacher's personality. The practical part is based on in-depth interviews and model situations solution. The research group consist of five elementary school teachers (three women and two men) and five elementary practical school teachers (also three women and two men) aged from 33 to 61 years, while the length of their practice is between 7 to 36 years. The data were analysed and classified into (After the data analysis were make) categories which are subsequently interpreted.

Motivating of educators to further education

This bachelor thesis, entitled Motivation of teachers for further education, deals with analysis motivational factors affecting primary school teachers to further their education. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out what motivational factors act on teachers in view of their further education. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, which is focused on motivation and its internal and external factors, on the personality of the teachers and also on the possibilities of further education of teachers. The practical part describes methodology and methods of research, aims of research work, includes questionnaire survey and its subsequent processing.
Differences in educational styles of parents with and without pedagogical education

(in English) The design of the research pedagogical project deals with the way of raising children in families where the mother has university degree in education and in families where the parents do not have an education degree or teaching practice. The work focuses on discoverin differences in the upbringing of children in the sample families. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part includes definitons of key terms, characteristics of parental upbringing and educational styles. Firtstly, the work is focused on the issues of education from the point of view of the family, followed by characteristics of the teacher, his personality, typology of teaching styles, pedagogical skills and professional competence. The empirical part summarizes the outcomes of the qualitative research. Literary drama education in kindergarten

In my bachelor thesis I will present you the conception of the literary dramatic education in one particular nursery. Theoretical part defines the key terminology, describes the literary dramatic activity after curricular documents (Framework educational programme for preschool education and School education program nursery Vodňany) and development characteristics from the given age group - preschool children. The core of the work describes the basic literary genres and methods from literary dramatic area. Part of the thesis is the analysis of literary dramatic activities from one school year in nursery Vodňany (Smetanova 204). Practical part introduces the creation and verification of the set of the worksheets for the literary dramatic area with the following reflexion. This part also contains the interview with the chosen teacher from the school mentioned above.
The teacher's personality in relation to the stress situations coping strategies and its influence on education

The dissertation deals with the topic of managing and experiencing stressful (extraordi-nary) situations in teaching in connection with selected teachers' personality traits. The thesis has a theoretical-empirical character. Its theoretical part presents some basic know?ledge related to the topics relevant to the processed issues (teacher's profession, persona?lity, motivation, emotion, workload and stress in the teaching profession context, selected teaching methods and organizational forms, recommendations for effective teaching and learning difficulties solutions, basics of artefacts symbolic interpretation). The aim of the research described in the empirical part of the thesis is to obtain the detailed information about the experience of difficult situations in teaching and the possibilities of their man?agement in connection with the personality structure of the selected teachers. The re?search was carried out in the mixed methods design. His qualitative part contains a multiple? case study (semi-structured interviews were conducted with six lower se?condary school teachers, their teaching was observed, an interview about their thematic collage on the theme Me as a teacher in all its positions and roles was conducted, and the same questionnaires were applied as for the quantitative part of the survey) and some open coded interviews about the thematic collages. In the quantitative research section, the data from four questionnaires were evaluated the orientation questionnaire for detecting stress in teachers by Henning and Keller (1996), the Stress Management Stra?tegies SVF 78 (Janke & Erdmann, 2003), the Freiburg Personality Inventory (Kollárik, Poliaková, & Ritomsky, 1984) and a questionnaire of our own design contains open questions. Most of the participants in the research study experience extraordinary situa?tions in their teaching, which usually cause unpleasant emotions and affect their teaching negatively. Particular relationships between personality characteristics and the teaching of the participants have been found. Respondents did not show a higher level of psychoso?matic disturbance, emotional lability, depressivity or neuroticity compared to the com?mon population. Neither between the level of stress feelings and the age or length of practice, no statistically significant relationship has been found. On the contrary, the male self-description and the adaptive burden management showed a mutually significant con?nection. Also, a higher level of stress impact in physical aspect of women compared to men proved to be statistically significant.
