The Roofing of The Multipurpose Building

Aim of bachelor thesis was to design and assess timber framework of roofing multipurpose building. The building will be situated in Trebic. Ground plan dimensions of the building are 80.6 × 54.5 m and building height is 17.1 m. The building will have a curved shape with a radius of 30 m. The structure is designed from glued laminated timber, solid timber and steel connecting elements. Substructure will be solved by concrete anchor blocks on foundation strips. The main supporting element are trusses which statically acting as a double-jointed arches. Stability of trusses is securing by purlins together with bracings. Bracings are composed of four fields of cross bracings and longitudinal bracings. Gable walls will consist of columns with braces.
Polička riding hall

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and assess the wooden riding hall for horses. The object is located in Polička. The construction has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 21 m x 42 m and arched roof. The design is made of glued laminated wood, solid wood and steel elements. The basic supporting elements are full-thickness girders made of glued laminated wood which statically act as double-jointed arches. Steel transverse stiffeners and purlins that provide stability to the trusses are designed from a solid wood.
The Roof Structure of a Multipurpose Sport Building

The goal of this bachelor work is designed and reviewed the roof of the timber construction of multifunction sports structure, the span is 40 m and the length is 60 m. The design of the structure is located in Ústí nad Orlicí. The shape of the hall is arc sector. The structure is designed from glue laminated timber, solid timber and steel load bearing elements. The main load bearing elements are solid girders, which static function as two hinged arch. The stability of the girders is ensured by purlins and transverse stiffeners. The stiffeners are situated in four fields. Front sides are made by girts and truss columns.
The multifunctional center in Jihlava

The aim of this master thesis is to design and check a bearing structure of The multifunctional center in Jihlava. A bulding is partly ground flooring. The structure follows an L-curve in a plan with the biggest axial lenght of 40 m. A roofing is in a shed shape and the pitch of the roof is 5,73°. The highest point of the bearnig structure is 11,5 m. The structure has various frame systems, which is a truss, a gross-cross section beam with an inner column in the middle of a span and a gross-cross section beam without an inner column. The structure is designed mainly from timber members, a glulam and solid timber. A steel part of structure consists of the metal fasteners and rods.
Agricultural hall with steel load-carrying structure

This bachelor’s thesis solve design of agricultural hall with steel load-carryng structure. Load-carryng structure is create frame construction from solid panel IPE beam. The girders are attached to the columns articulated. All columns are transvesely fixed to the foundation pads (in the longitudinal direction acting as articulated bearing). Roofing is made of sandwich panels, mounted on the purlins of thin-walled "Z". The building envelope is made of sandwich panels, attached with girt of the thin-walled "". The whole system is appropriate completed diagonal circular hollow section bracing, both in the transverse and in the longitudinal direction. The result of this work are static report and corresponding drawings agricultural hall with steel load-carryng structure.
The roof structure of the sport hall in Blansko

The topic of my bachelor’s thesis is a design of a construction of a sports hall. The hall’s floor plan has a rectangle shape. The width is designed to be 32 metres and its length is 52 metres. The roof construction is curved in a shape of a circle and its axial height is 12 metres. The construction is designed to be made from wood and steel with alternative arrangement. The static solution was implemented using the RFEM software.
Hangar

This thesis is about designing and assessmenting timber structure of hangar in Brno - Medlánky. Hangar is designed for small planes at Medlanky airport. Plan view of hangar is 116 m × 64 m and hight is 10,6 m. The building is curved and building forms part of a semicircle. The main frames are irregular and formed of solid girder which statically acting as a double-jointed arches. The structure is designed from glued laminated timber, solid timber and steel connecting elements. Substructure is solved by concrete blocks and foundation strips. A spatial rigidity of the structure is provided by the sway and longitudinal bracings. Roof and peripheral walls are made by sandwich panels.
Sports centre

The aim of this master thesis is proposal of a sport center building. The proposal consists of design of a detached building with room for climbing gym, sauna, massage room and also space for fitness, spinning and yoga. A bar with area for relaxing is a part of the building as well. The sport center has two floors and no basement. Due to the climbing gym, the second floor does not cover all disposition of the second floor. The support system of the building is skeletal. Part of the building´s roof is supported by steel truss frames with purlins, another part with solid panel trusses with purlins. The cieling is made of holoribs and reinforced concrete. The building is covered by single layer roof and has ventilated facade.
Sports Hall

The DiplomaThesisprocesses project documentation for the construction of a sports hall in Brno. Access to the building for spectators isbarrier-free and isdisabled from a private parking lot, newly located on the property. For athletes, a separate entrance is located from the northern part of the property. The building has an elevator and plenty of sanitary facilities, suitable for people with limited mobility and orientation. On the 1stfloor,there are all facilities for athletes – changing rooms,hygienefacilities, storageareas andgym. The gym space itselfoccupies most of the building's floor space and is over the entire height, the playing groundslowlyturnsinto a tribuneintended for spectators. On the 2nd floor, there are sanitary facilities for spectators, refreshments and an administrative area with offices. The basement part serves as a technical background for the entire operation of the building. The building has a flat green roofwhere the load-bearing part consists of wooden full-wall trusses. The building is covered with a wooden ventilated facade, the entire southern facade is made up of a glassperipheralshell. In the outdoorareas of the property, there are newly designed sports facilities - tennis courts, an athleticstrack and a football field.
The sport hall in Luhačovice

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and assess a timber structure roof of a sport hall. The building is located to Luhačovice, Zlín district. Ground plan dimensions are 35 × 55 m, the height is 12 m. The main bearing element is created by a bent plate girder, that function as a double-hinge arc. The structural material includes glued laminated timber, solid timber and connecting steel elements. Spatial stability of structure is ensured by purlins and lateral steel stiffeners. The substructure is designed as strip foundations and anchor block made from concrete. Gable walls are supported by columns and horizontal lintels.
