Configurable Embedded Photo/Video Trap with Storing Data and Self Adaptation to Surroundings
Výborný, Filip ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a design and construction of an embeded camera trap with a video recording and night vision support, which is able to self adapt to surroundings. The device is based on the Raspberry Pi platform and configurable by touch screen control with a user-friendly graphical interface. Also the web-application for easy remote administration was developed in Ruby On Rails framework. The camera trap was built and successfully tested under the real conditions. There are also typical application cases and requirements for camera trap construction described in this thesis.
Control system of mouth-organ
Trukhina, Irina ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The master’s thesis describes development of control system for automatic mouth-organ. The process of development is divided into three parts: a concept of control system, design of hardware parts and development of software parts. Controlled device, system requirements and general design of the hardware and software components are described in the concept of control system. The detailed hardware design includes next processes: electronic component selection, printed circuit board design, assembly and debugging. The result of this chapter is electronic system, which function correctly. The aim of the last chapter is to specify and explain development of software parts of control system. Installation of required software and important aspects of control software and user interface development are described in this chapter. The goal of the thesis is to create a control system, which will function correctly and reliably.
Electronic notice board LCD
Chmelař, Petr ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This paper focuse at market research with digital signages, kiosks, and the subsequent suggestion directed on the concept of the new system and its hardware parts and software. The aim of this work is grounded on creating the concept of electronic boards, which is derived from the market research. The concept of the system is describing the principle of functioning of the digital signage, possibilities of controlling and system administration itself. The suggestion of the hardware part of the system contains the selection of appropriate mechanism for realization of the software part of the system and the proposal of controlling and signaling aspects, which are suitable for communication with users.
Wireless IP Camera With a Raspberry Pi
Sidor, Peter ; Botta, Miroslav (referee) ; Červenka, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with the developing of an additional module for Raspberry Pi and with optimization of the efficiency of powering the whole device. The thesis also deals with the acceleration of the Operating System which is used by the entire device. The first part of this work describes the principles of functioning of the sensors and DC/DC converters. The work focuses on the selection of proper components for this module. The Printed Circuit Boards of the selected DC/DC converters were created in the program Eagle for efficiency measuring. As for the next part, there was created a program for turning on and off the entire device. This part presents a description of the possibilities of accelerating the operating system for Raspberry Pi. The last part of the thesis focuses on design of the final operating system.
Internet of Things Device Based on BLE
Débef, Jakub ; Husák, Jiří (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to get familiar with the Internet of things and build devices falling into this category. The assembled device is created on a network client-server architecture and uses wireless communication interface. As the server is used minicomputer raspberry pi with Unix, client devices use an electronic platform Arduino. Created device has been tested.
Monitor of Exploitation in Ultramicro Aviation
Kudera, Matěj ; Dobeš, Petr (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to create a system that will record the operation of an ultralight aircraft in which it will be installed. The thesis analyzes the principles important for the design of this system and creates a detailed proposal, which is based on the acquired knowledge of individual principles. The created system consists of two parts. An embedded device that is built into the ultralight aircraft and records whether it is in motion and a mobile application that allows easy access to records made by the embedded device. The mobile application was made for the Android operating system using the Android Studio development environment and the embedded device was implemented using a Raspberry Pi minicomputer, to which the necessary peripherals were connected. Finally, the functionality of the system was tested using the created tests and test flights of ultralight aircraft with embedded device were performed.
The Ultimate Arcade Suitcase
Erlich, Lukáš ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create an entertaining case (hardware and software) designed for various occasions such as weddings, celebrations, team building events and others. Its task is to run retro arcade games and also acts as a jukebox to play mp3 songs. The core of the case consists of a Raspberry Pi and audio-visual and control peripherals connected to it. Console and jukebox software is downloaded from GitHub open-source projects RetroPie and FruitBox. A simple graphical user interface is created over the operating system and the user is also allowed to manage the case remotely by using a web manager made in the Laravel framework. I created a complex system of applications, combining with OS and hardware components. The work shows the use of simple computers in more complex systems, their capabilities and techniques of cooling. The case designed in this work is fully functional.
Building security system
Judiny, Martin ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with home security system using Raspberry Pi as a central microcontroller unit and it´s additional peripherals. Informations are accessible via web server.
Traffic monitoring using Raspberry PI
Zacpal, Michal ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and subsequent implementation of a unit for traffic monitoring using Raspberry PI. First section provides a quick overview of assistance systems, which use a road lane detection techniques. Next there is a description of two diferent methods for road lane detection. Follow the description of monitoring scene. Then the work describe the practical part including the design and realization of supporting electronics, selecting of each components, including the modifying of cameras, mechanical design and creating of unit. Another section is about selection and installation of appropriate software components necessary for running of the unit and the selection of development tools for creating user application. After description of graphical user interafce, there is a description of road lanes detection algorithm. At the end of the thesis is summarized a reliability of unit in real traffic situation. At the appendix there are technical drawings, describing the unit.
Electronic notice board LCD
Bureš, Michal ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the research of existing solutions of electronic information systems. The purpose of this survey is to inspire what is offered to users of these professional systems, or what users expect from these systems. Based on the acquired knowledge, the thesis also deals with the design of its own system, which can serve as another alternative to professional solutions of companies on the market, in the sense of the concept of solution of the given task. After the design of the system, the thesis deals chronologically with the selected "tools" used for the actual implementation of the assigned task Electronic Information Boards. Both hardware and software parts of the task, which form the majority of this thesis. At the end of the work are presented practical results.
