Anglicisms in Political Reporting in Current German Press Represented by the Magazine Der Spiegel

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the topic of adopting words from English into German, in other words anglicisms. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part contains explanations of basic terms connected with the word adoption. Also presented are fundamental data of the most significant German magazine Der Spiegel, which serves as the basis for the practical part. Furthermore, there is a summary of the history of word adoption. The second part of the thesis is practical and created on grounds of the above mentioned magazine Der Spiegel. This part is composed and divided mainly according to voices and suffixes. Stated examples are from the corpus of found words.

Car Sharing as a Potential for Development of Individual Transport in Czech Republic

This master thesis deals with the unique idea of sharing vehicles called car sharing. Thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part describes the basic concept of car sharing as a concept of a new development of a lifestyle spread around the world. Car sharing is described as a source of new ecological and convenient way of transport. This paper looks at the history behind the carsharing, car sharing organizations model as part of different forms of carsharing, as well as benefits and environmental effects that are associated with this revelation. It describes a view of this concept in different countries in Europe and in the US. Focus is then made on the situation in Czech republic, more specifically on the first carsharing company Autonapul on the czech market. Practical part emphasizes carsharing situation in Czech republic, providing list of different car companies on the market. It looks at situation in the capital city, Prague, and suggests the new marketing strategy for the oldest company.

Making Theatre in London

The thesis examines contemporary British theatre focusing on the dynamic between a playwright, a director and an actor, which is very different in the UK from continental Europe. Describing specific London productions as well as the history of modern British theatre, it tries to identify what are the defining characteristics of British directing, acting and playwriting. Each chapter focuses on one of these elements and defines British theatre in realation to the Czech scene. By comparing selected productions of the same British play in Prague and London the author draws attention to the possible difficulties that might arise while staging British drama in a different cultural context.

The Development of Local Government in the Municipality of Březnice

The thesis was built up as a method of case study, dealing with the political development in Březnice from communal election in 1994 to the present. The theoretical part was focused on the development of local authorities in the historical milestones. It defines the term municipality, its institutions, communal elections and its components, the coalition theory, local party system, participation of population, position of independent candidates in local politics and local models of democracy. The practical part uses all the information obtained in the first part and applies it to the municipality Březnice according the knowledge collected from interviews with current and former local representatives. This part also describes history of the village and socio-economic indicators.

Beer Market Analysis in the Czech Republic

This Masters thesis Beer Market Analysis in Czech Republic describes the brewing industry in the Czech Republic from its beginnings to the present. It mainly focuses on the activities of large brewing companies which influence the beer market in Czech Republic the most. Small breweries have been increasing their market position and their activities are presented as well. The number of Microbrewery grows every year. This segment of market reflects a new trend in society where beer drinkers are looking for new beer flavors. The first part introduces the methodological procedures which have been used for understanding the problems of brewing in Czech Republic. The theoretical frame is based on research of professional literature. There are explained the basic manufacturing processes and characteristics of beer production. The basic indicators of brewery and current trends in production and consumption of beer are represented by tables and graphs. The final section is about specific analyzes of branch and main subjects. The analysis included the four largest brewing companies in the Czech market. It monitors how the number of microbreweries grows in time. The customer interest for small breweries is evaluated by the questionnaire. Results of the research are evaluated in the final part of thesis.

Management of the certain property group in Department of military of Defence of the Czech Republic

The thesis is focused on the property management in within the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, specifically on example of equipment for personal use. The theoretical part of the thesis is aimed on personal equipment and specifics of its use within the Army of the Czech Republic. The management process including dealing with equipment is being governed by legislative standards and internal regulations. The practical part is addressed to personal equipment including the consideration of the need for acquiring, managing and registering. In all the cases of compating, the form of equipment standards is being used. The thesis is targeted on differencies and specifical needs of the personal equipment of the Prague Castle Guard, which performs representative and other specifical tasks linked with security, protocolar, and representative activities of the President of the Czech Republic. In the final section a particular management of personal equipment is described and supplemented by finding from practice. The work provides a comprehensive overview of the management and handling with personal equipment within the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic.

Collectivization of the countryside in memories of witnesses from the localities Lhenice and Mičovice

The submitted thesis focuses on the period of forced collectivisation in rural Czechoslovakia and is a case study of the villages Lhenice and Mičovice. The focus of the work is to determine what images of collectivisation are still in the minds of the local residents and how this process affected the daily lives of their past. The theoretical section explains the concepts of everyday life, socialistic everyday life, memory and collective memory. It was conducted in the form of oral history method and archive research. Thanks to this approach the work illustrates view of witnesses who lived during the process of collectivization. It deepens our understanding of Czechoslovak modern history through the perspective of local residents.

Characterisation of novel serpin TILIr and its relatives from the superfamily of serine protease inhibitors from \kur{Ixodes ricinus} tick

Novel gene, named TILIr ( TIL Ixodes ricinus), that encoded yet unknown protein with TIL domain characteristic to proteins that belong to trypsin inhibitors family was discovered and isolated from hard tick Ixodes ricinus. Two isoforms of novel gene were identified and studied in this project. As the result of this study recombinant TILIr protein was produced in bacterial expression system and analysis of its functional characteristics was conducted. The protein belonging to family of trypsin inhibitors represent a potential candidate for anti-tick vaccine component.

Analysis of the performance review of the territorial self-governing unit

The thesis is focused on the problematic of reviewing the territorial self-governing unit in the Czech Republic. The goal is to compare the approach of the audit firm and approach of a regional office to perform the examination of the TSU. The first chapter defines the general characteristics of the public sector. The second focuses on a specific area of public administration, which represents local government. The third chapter describes the rules and obligations that are related to the budget management of TSU. The fifth chapter, which summarizes the specifics of the accounting and reporting of selected entities. Chapter five is still theoretical definition of audit in the public administration and distinguishes notions of audit and economic review of the TSU. The last part practically compares the prerequisites required for the implementation of the performance review, individual activities conducted under review, the result of these activities, which is the so-called report on the outcome of the examination of the TSU and summarizes the differences. Conclusion of the work shows that it is not important who provides an economic review, but how and especially in what quality is the review carried out.

Application of SEO for marketing

The aim of this thesis is to describe in detail the current ways of optimizing websites for search engines (SEO) and to apply them in a broader marketing strategy of italian restaurant La Casa Degli Amici. The thesis presents evidence about the importance of SEO for marketing and can be used as a template for optimizing you own website. This thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains the concepts used in the design and implementation of the practical part. The theoretical part considers 3 main subjects - search engine, users and SEO which represents website creation and optimization. This thesis describes the history of search engines and the way search engines analyze and evaluate a website. It also describes user search strategies and the way users read the search results. In the SEO section we show its advantages, brief history, SEO strategies and description of techniques and tools that can be used for SEO. In the practical part we put together a marketing strategy which consists of website creation, implementation of selected SEO techniques and social network marketing. Implementation of the marketing strategy is evaluated on data obtained during the period between 1. 8. 2016 and 31. 11. 2016. Owner of the restaurant has provided data on sales which were used for overall evaluation of implemented marketing strategy.
