Bachelor's thesis - Kolping house, shelter for mothers with children, to prevent social exclusion, deals with the social phenomenon - social exclusion. Especially on the causes and issues that relate to this. Social exclusion also applies to lonely parents and this work focuses mainly on this group. The following is part of the work on the role of state organizations that promote socially excluded persons through financial and social services aimed at prevention. Practical work is given Kolping house - the house of asylum for mothers with children, who risk social exclusion. I present here the objectives of the organization, the conditions of stay in Kolping house and who is resident in the house Kolpingově primarily intended. The work contains a description of social work in Kolping house, especially information about the service under the name video interaction guidance, the story - case study of typical clients with I have a longer time in contact, interview with social worker Kolping house, questionnaire and providing satisfaction and quality of social services in Kolping house. Financial Equalization of German Federal States. A key German Domestic Political Issue of the Turn of the Millennium

The thesis"Financial Equalization of German Federal States-a Key German Domestic Political Issue of the Turn of the Millennium" describes on of the most important elements of the German financial system,which has been in place since 1950s. It has its constitutional justification in the principle that citizens cannot be treated differently by the government simply because they live in different parts of the federation (article 107 of the German Constitution). The fiscal equalization exists in the form of redistribution of tax revenue (individual and corporate income tax and turnover tax) primarily according to the size of the population in each German state (Bundesland). It takes place vertically between the federation and individual states and simultaneously horizontally among states themselves. The "Lnderfinanzausgleich", interstate horizontal fiscal equalization among the Lnder, is certainly the main factor of interregional solidarity in Germany. Without central governments intervention, it organizes the horizontal redistribution of fiscal revenues among the Lnder, including the five new Lnder since 1995. This bachelor thesis outlines the concept of Drawing resources from European Science Foundations. The theoretic part of the thesis describes Regional Policy, Structural Funds and European Science Foundation. Furthermore it concentrates on Operational Programmes ESF, which specifies the aims of submitted projects. The practical part of the thesis describes the project "Celkové zkvalitnění výuky na ZŠ s důrazem na zlepšení situace znevýhodněných žáků a usnadnění jejich zařazení do výukového procesu", which was realized at the Primary school Náměstí Svobody in Prague 6 in years 2006-2008.

Public Private Partnership and its use in in transport infrastructure

Abstract The theme of my thesis is mutual cooperation between public and private sector called Public Private Partnership. The theoretical part explains the concept of Public Private Partnership, its history, pros and cons which this partnership bears, and branches in which PPP is used. In the second part two case studies of pilot projects in transport infrastructure in Czech Republic are analyzed. The goal is to analyze the application of PPP in these projects and in one unsuccessful project. Part of the analyses is also a review of reasons why the unsuccessful project failed and furthermore the review of potential risks of using PPP.

Managing financing for dynamic growth of a small firm

The objective of my final thesis was to choose, based upon findings and profitability assessments of each type of financing, a suitable financing of growth of the W.A.G, mineral fuels, Inc., the society which operates the project of unmanned filling-stations Tank & Go. In my thesis, I describe types of financing, the ways of gaining financial sources, the changes in legal form of entrepreneurship, the forms of cooperation as well as the state assistance to the entrepreneurs. Consequently, in the practical research, I evaluate the suitability of these types of financing to the project Tank & Go in accordance with the criteria given by the owner of the society as well as with its financial structure.

Funding of public universities - investment projects

The work describes paricularities of public univerisities. More detail is given to financing investment projekcts by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and by European Union funds. The main part is dedicted to funding by the state system of grants and funding for Operational Programme Education for Compettiveness. The work describes registration procedures for investment projects, drawing on funds and subsequent monitoring.

Role of the Structural Funds in tourist trade (on example of Karlovarsky region)

In the theoretical part of my thesis I have described the Structural policy and the division of operational programmes and initiatives refered to tourist trade in the Karlovarsky region. In the practical part I have made an analysis of the situation in the Karlovarsky region and I have made a comparison of the two periods of EU financial resources allocation in the region. I have also made a public inquiry about sustainable development in tourist trade in the region and finally I have introduced two projects of EU financial resources allocation.

Finance and accounting of allowance organizations in factual conditions of health care institutions

Allowance organizations are included among non-profit associations whose operation, method of financing and accounting are different from other economic entities. First chapter focuses on non-profit associations, legal regulations of allowance organizations and general definition of public health care institutions. Next two chapters are devoted to financing and accounting of allowance organizations. Financial relations of allowance organizations with their founders, agenda of money funds, general system of accounting for allowance organization and selected specifics of accounting are mentioned in these chapters. Last chapter is dedicated to financing and accounting of health care institutions, including demonstration of described regularities on factual health care institution - the allowance organization Hospital Ivančice.

Clustrovací framework

A clustering framework (Egocentric) is presented in this thesis. It was programmed in the Java 1.5 SE language and its time and memory requirements are lower than those of all similar open source projects found by the author. The thesis provides information about the implementation, includes a demonstration of the project's operation, its options, user's guide and a comparison with an existing framework.
