Library of Vinohrady move in 2007
Uhlířová, Běla ; Stöcklová, Anna (advisor) ; Pilecká, Věra (referee)
The aim of Bachelor's thesis is to describe Library of Vinohrady move in year of 2007. Initial part focuses on procedure of library move in theory, including definition of known methodics. Next parts of thesis focuse on the Library of Vinohrady move. The library is introduced including its brief history and comparison of library characteristics before the move (2006) and after the move (2008). Library move is described as a complex workflow which starts with design and reconstruction of new premises, continues with library collection move and ends with library re-opening. Thesis also emphasizes practical issues related to library move and describes their solutions.

Quasigroup based cryptography
Christov, Adam ; Drápal, Aleš (referee) ; Stanovský, David (advisor)
Public-key cryptographic schemes based on the complexity of solving multivariate quadratic equations over a finite field represent an alternative to widely used schemes relying on the complexity of factorization or on the discrete logarithm. Such a scheme was proposed by D. Gligoroski et al. [8]. Keys in this scheme are constructed using a special kind of quasigroups, the socalled quadratic quasigroups. In this paper we try and describe the quadratic quasigroups and classify them according to their properties. Finally, we present a theory which can be used to generate such quasigroups.

Comparison of business conditions of Czech republic and Singapore
Severová, Lucie ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Vostrovská, Zdenka (referee)
Question of barriers to business is in the Czech Republic criticised for a long time, but until now have been taken only partial actions and complex change is still missing. For a comparison of business conditions I chose Singapore, because it has very favourable business conditions in recent years, while the Czech Republic markedly fall behind on a worldwide scale. Methodological part of the thesis contains an analysis of conceptions that serve as a base for the comparation of business conditions. The conceptions are concerned with starting a business, getting credit, trading across borders, self-dealing, theory of procedural formalism, tax theory, labour relation, getting and transferring real estate. Consecutive analytical part of the thesis compares business conditions in the Czech Republic and in Singapore according to criteria accepted by The World Bank. The criteria are focused on administrative, financial and time cost of starting business, registering and transferring real estate, proceedings at law, international trade. Further criteria are determinants of labour relation, law protecting of investors against self-dealing, informative barriers to getting credit, determinants of paying taxes. The objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyse differences in business conditions between the Czech Rupublic and Singapore and propose arrangement for improvement law and economics conditions for business in the Czech Republic.

The knowledge society and open economy: impacts on the competitiveness of the Czech republic in the global world
Kamrlová, Lucie ; Petrášek, František (advisor) ; Zabranská, Monika (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on the competitive advantage of the Czech republic in the global world of nowadays. First, it is important to explain the expression a "knowledge economy" or a "knowledge society". In my thesis, I will introduce the theories of human capital, knowledge economy, innovation, economic growth and divers sources of appropriate informations. After the introduction of these theories, I will follow up with the introduction of the Lisbon strategy and its analysis. Here, I will do a comparison of the EU, Czech Republic and the global economy. The reason of this thesis is to show a possible ways of development and economic growth of the Czech Republic. The Lisbon strategy reflects the complexity of this issue. Thus, the next chapters will be about the analysis of Finland's economic transformation and its current state. Following with the short introduction and analysis of the american and french education, science and research systém and shape. Thus, those acquired knowledge will serve me to make an outline of the possible solutions for the Czech Republic because our current situation enables us to inspire ourselves in the whole diversity and uniqueness of their economic and social systems and to apply their know-how in the broader context of the Czech republic.

Learning with Regularization Networks
Kudová, Petra ; Neruda, Roman (advisor) ; Andrejková, Gabriela (referee) ; Hlaváčková-Schindler, Kateřina (referee)
In this work we study and develop learning algorithms for networks based on regularization theory. In particular, we focus on learning possibilities for a family of regularization networks and radial basis function networks (RBF networks). The framework above the basic algorithm derived from theory is designed. It includes an estimation of a regularization parameter and a kernel function by minimization of cross-validation error. Two composite types of kernel functions are proposed - a sum kernel and a product kernel - in order to deal with heterogenous or large data. Three learning approaches for the RBF networks - the gradient learning, three-step learning, and genetic learning - are discussed. Based on the se, two hybrid approaches are proposed - the four-step learning and the hybrid genetic learning. All learning algorithms for the regularization networks and the RBF networks are studied experimentally and thoroughly compared. We claim that the regularization networks and the RBF networks are comparable in terms of generalization error, but they differ with respect to their model complexity. The regularization network approach usually leads to solutions with higher number of base units, thus, the RBF networks can be used as a 'cheaper' alternative in terms of model size and learning time.

Economic and social impacts of non-payment of alimony in legal theory and practice
Prachařová, Petra ; Pikola, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor thesis will deal with the maintenance obligation of a parent to minors, that the first results of the Civil Code and later at the initiative of one of the parents addressed by the decision of the Court. The first part will explain the concept of non-payment of alimony, a glossary and its legislation. It will also indicate what impact can have and in most cases a failure to pay maintenance for a minor child and an authorized person. What financial and social problems they face this family and how complex and difficult situation for this family it is. And will also include options identify the beneficiary in the recovery and acquisition amounts due. It will also mention the earlier arrangement for the payment of maintenance replacement states that it subsequently exacted after the compulsory allowing authorized person and the minor child not suffer financially. The aim of this work will highlight solutions to the economic situation of these families in the form of re payment of maintenance replacement state.

New media theory as ontology of the computer code
Kera, Denisa ; Vlasák, Rudolf (advisor) ; Smetáček, Vladimír (referee) ; Petříček, Miroslav (referee)
The work establishes new media studies in relation to different disciplines that were reflecting contemporary technologies in the 20th century. It emphasizes the likeness o f new media theory to posthumanist philosophy. New media technologies are specific due to the performativity o f the computer code and the overall phenomenon o f software that interconnect different aspects o f the organic and inorganic life. The hybrid and emergent consequences o f this integration o f machines, humans and nature radically challenges our views o f what is technology, society and even what is ontology. Ontology o f the code is an attempt to highlight the dynamic and process driven qualities o f the reality as the ground o f todays technological acceleration. With the help o f the computer codes it generates ever more complex forms o f symbiosis and hybrid collectivity like our cities and the whole globalized society. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
