Analysis of the Building Societies` Products in Czech Republic

This work aims to the existence of the building societies in Czech Republic. It describes conditions of the building societies` products and also the very beginning of the draft of the whole concept. Discourse is divided into two parts. In the first, the analysis of the indicators in Czech republic is performed. The second part tries to answer the questions: "What is the profitability of the savings at the building society?" and "How much does the loan from a buildiung society cost?"

Diploma thesis Financial and nonfinancial analysis of Spalovsky Company is dealing with a complex evaluation of chosen company. On the basis of financial statements for the years 2004 -- 2008 is accomplished financial analysis which purveys information about processes in company. As another methods for financial evaluation are chosen overall bankruptcy and credibility models and Quelle methodology. As a basis for nonfinancial indicators were made questionnaires among companies' employees and customers and created two new indexes - People Value Added and Customer Value Added. The last method was selected Pollack's method of companies' vitality. The goals of this thesis are two: the first of all to evaluate the company, characterize strong and weak points and suggest recommendations for improvement. The second goal is to analyze usefulness of selected methodizes and find out in which relation are they (substitutes, components or antagonists).

Analysis of macroeconomic and institutional evolution in New Zealand and the Kingdom of Sweden

The main objective of this thesis is macroeconomic and institutional comparison of New Zealand and the Kingdom of Sweden. These countries were forced to undergo radical institutional changes in the 80's and at the beginning of the 90's because of critical economic situation and because of unsustainable condition of their public finances. In the first chapter of my thesis I deal with the public finance theory, with acting of bureaucracy in public sector and with the institutional economy. In the second chapter I compare conditions before the reform, the reform steps in these countries, the evolution after the reform was done and their economic situation today.

Searching collisions in hash functions

The main interest of this paper is finding collisions in the hash function MD5. We present our new algorithm based on Wangs et al. methods of finding collisions in MD5. While writing this thesis Stevens and Klima published their fast algorithms for finding collisions. We give a description of these algorithms and the calculation of computianal complexity of all three algorithms.

Wireless network management of the smaller internet service provider

This Bachelor thesis discusses IT issues of the small WISP. It focuses mainly to the scope of IT services providing. Because of the complication of the network management, providers utilize different types of systems, that provide high level of network management and also saves work-time needed. After the initial observation of the issue I will describe one of the most widespread de facto standard of the IT management -- ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library). This thesis is addressed to only one part of the ITIL library - Service Support. This part provides collection of recommendations how to deal with support of single IT processes and how to support them by the used systems. Next I will describe two Czech Made complex systems that are widely used in the wireless network administration segment. After all I would like to evaluate them in respect to the ITIL utilization.

Genetic and Ethiopatogenetic Aspects of the Restless Legs Syndrome

The restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a sensomotor disoder characterized by urge to move lower extremities and this urge is usualy associated with unpleasnat sensations. The symtoms of RLS are alleviated with movement and, on the contrary, worsen during rest. The urge presents circadian rhytmicity peaking in the evening and the first half of night. The diagnosis of RLS is set according to patients' history fulfilling the essential criteria. The prevalence of RLS is quite high in western countries about 11%, women being affected twice as often as men. The disease has two forms, secondary and idiopathic. In the idiopathic RLS, positive family history is observed at about 50% of cases. There are already 3 genetic susceptibility loci on chromosomes 12, 14 and 9 published to be linked with RLS (RLS1, RLS2 a RLS3). Furhter 2 new loci were identified on chromosomes 17 and 4 insofar unpublished study. The current opinion suggests a complex model of inheritance in RLS. The aim of this project was to compare clinical and laboratory parameters in sporadic to familiar RLS and in families affected by RLS to confirm linkage previously detected loci, and eventually discover new susceptibility loci. Supply analysis of the open source aplications for IT management

Tato bakalářská práce poskytuje čtenáři nástin možností využití open source nástrojů pro řízení provozu informatiky. V první části práce jsou nejprve stručně představena základní pravidla open source nezbytná pro správné pochopení celé problematiky a popsány licence, se kterými se uživatel v praxi může nejčastěji setkat. V následující kapitole je zmíněna metodika ITIL, jako zástupce mezinárodně používaných metodik pro řízení provozu informatiky. Jednotlivé kategorie této metodiky slouží jako základní koncept pro oblasti výběru nástrojů. V této kapitole, jsou také uvedeny a stručně popsány servery, na nichž lze nalézt největší množství open source produktů a informací o nich. Dále jsou pak představeny výběrové podmínky, které musí vybrané nástroje splňovat. Ve třetí části práce jsou uvedeny pro každou kategorii konkrétní produkty. Ke každému produktu přísluší popis jeho základní funkcionality a technických parametrů. Čtvrtá část práce se zaobírá klady a zápory často zmiňovanými ve spojitosti s open source. Pátá část pak na základě několika odkazovaných studií a analýz hodnotí celkovou vhodnost využití open source z ekonomického hlediska. V poslední části práce jsou uvedeny dva různé příklady, popisující implementaci a využívání z představených produktů v praxi. Zájemce o open source po přečtení práce získá schopnost orientace v problematice i návod, jak a kde získat případné podrobnější informace. Zároveň by měl být schopný posoudit vhodnost využití představených nástrojů v praxi.

Bimodal distributions

We study the bimodality of the mixture of two unimodal distributions. In the special cases we give necessary and su±cient conditions ensuring the bimodality of such mixtures. We study the probability of the event that the histogram of a random sample from unimodal distribution indicates two peaks. For some types of unimodal distributions it is possible to simplify this problem and we can study histograms of samples from uniform distribution instead. We show that for increasing number of observations the probability that histogram with N classes has two peaks tends to the probability that the random permutation of numbers 1;...;N is bimodal.

Activities of Agrofert holding covered by Mladá fronta Dnes and Lidové noviny before and after their takeover by Andrej Babiš

Exploration of the influences that an owner can have on his own media is an important topic nowadays. This master thesis focuses on the possible owner influences on his newspaper in the example of buying of the publishing house Mafra by Agrofert's owner Andrej Babis. It covers articles concerning Agrofert in two of Mafra's dailies - Mlada fronta Dnes and Lidove noviny. The reporting period covers two years before and two years after the purchase of Mafra by the owner of Agrofert and the current Czech Minister of Finance Andrej Babis. This covers the dates 5. 6. 2011 - 24. 6. 2013 and 25. 6. 2013 - 24. 6. 2015. This thesis uses the processes of quantitative content analysis and focuses on the comparison of texts about Agrofert in these two periods. In the sample of 631 articles it examines two dozen categories, such as topic, placement on the page as well as in the daily itself or quotation of Andrej Babis, and it tracks the changes that occurred in both halves of the reporting period. The shift in content of the Mafra's media, after the change of its owner has not been largely examined yet. This means that this thesis brings a first complex insight into the topic. Residential house with commercial space

The subject of this thesis is to work out the project documentation for a residential building with commercial spaces in cadastral area of Trenčianske Stankovce, part Malé Stankovce. Residential building with commercial spaces is divided into two architecturally connected units. Residential building consists of one underground and three floors. Commercial spaces are designed as a fitness center with the underground floor. The floor plan of this complex is designed in the shape of a letter V. Construction system is longitudinal, wall made. Vertical supporting structures of the house are mainly made by the system POROTHERM. Other vertical and horizontal structures are made of reinforced concrete. In the commercial part of the project there are horizontal structures designed from prestressed ceiling panels SPIROLL. The roof of the residential building is designed as a single-shell flat roof. The roof above the commercial spaces is made as single-shell flat extensive vegetative roof. The drawing part is made with the AutoCAD software.
