Slunčíková, Michaela ; Kroupa, Vladimír (advisor) ; Ostrouchov, Petr (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to analyse legal situations, which may arise during the literary part of development - that is the creation of a script or conception of television series or other television program. The first part is concerned with licence agreements. It describes the conclusion of a licence agreement and analyses the particulars of the agreement. This part also deals with specific legal regulation of audiovisual works. The second part is concerned with the particular possibilities of buying out licences to finished scripts, as well as to partly completed scripts and custom-made scripts. One of the chapters also addresses the distinctions in the development of a television series and other television program. The viewpoint of the thesis is predominantly one of a producer, however, the last chapter also includes the examination of the protection of rights of a scriptwriter. The focus of the third part is on further authors who can participate on the development of a script, and eventually on television series or other television program and with whom it is therefore necessary to conclude licence agreements. This part of the thesis is also concerned with the specifics of the film adaptation and the author?s translation. The fourth part deals with contracts for work and also addresses the legal regulation of a custom-made work in accordance with the Copyright Act. The fifth part describes the problematic position of a theme in the Czech law. It contains some of the possibilities of its protection as well as the protection of the conception of a television programme or a serial story. This part also includes a brief research. The final part refers to the possible consequences of an insufficient legal settlement of copyright. It also elaborates the potential conscious and unconscious interventions of the script into the right of privacy and its legal consequences.

How many kinds of work you can do, so many times you are a man, or else how to manage the economics after entering the position as a headmaster
Kryčová, Miroslava ; Marková, Jana (advisor) ; Všetečková, Helena (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to acquaint future headteachers with one of their coming responsibilities - to become, i.a. also an economist. I give an overview of basic economic activities that a headteacher, in cooperation with his/her employees, will have to perform and take over full responsibility. Through the use of questionnaire survey I tried to demonstrate that a headmaster not only teaches, but must also be a lawyer and economist. The results of the survey confirmed this presumption completely. The presented charts indicate that teaching activities load approximately one third of the working time of a headteacher. Another third of his work is represented by economic activities, and the last third is devoted to legal issues and human resource management. By means of a brief description to acquaint school management with all the economic activities which are to be met in the course of performing their work. The advantage is that few pages of this study cover the whole economic activity of the school. After reading this work, one can obtain a clear understanding of this activity. Every teacher who is applying for a position of a headteacher must be aware of this fact and consider carefully whether he/she really wants to bear this heavy burden.
