The theoretical part aims to explain the kinesiology and biomechanical pathologies of the lumbo- sacral joint and pelvic girdle functioning as a unit. While the practical part refers to the case study; the examinations used and the effectiveness of the therapy with the approaches used. Methods: The practical part is based on a 55 year old female, in a state of 2 year post fall on the left hip who now complains of low back and left hip joint pain. The study consisted of physiotherapeutic approaches for initial kinesiological examination, followed by 5 therapy sessions lasting an hour each, and a final kinesiological examination. All methods used were non-invasive. Results: Progress was very much markable in the course of 5 days of therapy. The patient's pain level at the left hip joint and low back pain (LBP) decreased. The lack of dopamine impairs regulating activities of the basal ganglia. That leads to manifestation of the typical symptoms of PD. Knowledge survey briefly describes symptoms, diagnostics and treatment for this disease. This paper focuses on neurolocomotor process, movement control and especially gait disorders which occurs in patients with Parkinson's disease. Problems with walking develops subsequently, progressively limiting patients in their daily activities. Because current medications providing little relieve, physiotherapy plays an important role in ameliorating these symptoms. This thesis describes various physiotherapeutic approaches. It emphasizes necessity of regular exercising which is absolutely essential to slow the progression of the disease and its debilitating effects. Practical part of this work focuses on the efficacy of the therapy on one patient. This man has the typical PD symptoms and freezing and hesitation often happens to him. He has no cognitive deficit which may hinder his ability to cooperate with therapist. This part also evaluate impact of the therapy based patient's...

Physiotherapy in patients with Spina bifida
Kamarýtová, Jitka ; Senetyčová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Kohoutová, Hana (referee)
The purpose of my bachelor thesis is to sum up the findings related to spina bifida and to list opportunities of using physiotherapeutic approaches and methods in individual forms of this development congenital disorder. The thesis is divided in two parts - practical and theoretical. In the theoretical part, I tried to sum up the information gathered and these were then applied in the practical part. I provided a detailed explanation of different types of spina bifida as the surgery treatment and physiotherapeutic intervention depend on the clinical picture of individual forms of this disorder. In the practical part, my focus was the application of concrete physiotherapeutic approaches and methods in selected patients suffering from spina bifida.

Doubravská, Gabriela ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Helcl, František (referee)
Název: Význam aktivních jizev v oblasti břišní stěny a jejich ovlivnění fyzioterapeutickými přístupy Cíl práce: Vyzdvihnout problematiku hojení mechanicky narušených měkkých tkání a mechanismus tvorby jizvy. Ověřit zda aplikací manuální terapie dojde k ovlivnění kvality jizevnaté tkáně i několik let staré, tkání v jejím okolí a zároveň k ovlivnění ostatních funkcí pohybové soustavy.
