Seniors´ opinions on care allowance
POHLOVÁ, Vendula
Since January 1st, 2007, Act No. 108/2006 Coll. On Social Services has been effective. Amended later, it establishes procedures for the care allowance acknowledgement and other proceedings. The care allowance is paid in four stages. Under the Act, care allowance should be used to provide the necessary care for the applicant. Since the year 2007, the data collected have shown that care allowance (especially in the first stage) is not always used for the care provision by registered care providers, and the money paid from the state budget is not refunded via the care providers back into the system, as originally intended. The thesis deals with the development of care allowance and problems that care allowance brings about. The answers to the research questions were identified using a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods: a secondary data analysis and a semi-conducted interview. For the data analysis the information from the system OK SERVICES, in which the data associated with care allowance are processed and recorded, was used. The semi-conducted interview was conducted on the basis of prepared questions. The first portion was identification questions, the following questions were the prepared open questions that could have been adjusted during an interview with regard to a particular respondent. The basic research group of respondents for secondary data analysis consisted of the care allowance recipients at senior age living in the municipality with extended powers Český Krumlov. Interviews were conducted with selected senior citizens from the basic research group. The sample corresponds with the socio-demographic profile in the basic research group. The thesis can be used as material for the purposes of the MLSA, for community planning at the regional and municipal level, and for the employees of municipalities with extended powers, who are in charge of the care allowance agenda.

Nurse {--} patient relation in emergency room sector
VČELIČKOVÁ, Martina
"Nurse {--} patient relation in emergency room sector{\crq}q was the topic of my thesis. The bachelor thesis was divided in two parts. The theoretical part dealt with questions of those factors which influence the nurse - patient interrelation. The thesis tried to describe the most important factors which effect the establishing of the patient {--} nurse interrelation; it tried to describe nurses{\crq} points of view as well as patients{\crq} points of view because their views can be fundamentally different and in a way they can zoom in some out-patients{\crq} aspects. The length of waiting time for treatments, overall impressions related to their visits in emergency rooms, patients{\crq} characters and the level of emergency room nurses{\crq} stress play significant roles. Two targets were set in the practical part of my thesis. The first target was to map factors which take share in forming a positive client {--} nurse relation in emergency room care. The second target of my thesis was to map factors which take share in forming a positive nurse {--} client relation in emergency room care. Furthermore, five hypotheses were set. The first hypothesis was: ``Waiting time before treatment influences nurse - client relation.{\crq}q The second hypothesis was: ``Women are more willing to cooperate than men.{\crq}q The third hypothesis was: ``The shorter the client{\crq}s waiting time for treatment, the more willing s/he is to cooperate.{\crq}q The fourth hypothesis was: ``Emergency room nurse{\crq}s high stress influences her relation to clients.{\crq}q The fifth hypothesis was: ``A large number of clients waiting for treatment are a strong stress factor for nurses. The qualitative method with the anonymous questionnaire technique was used for the real status discovery. Two kinds of questionnaires were used. The patients{\crq} questionnaire contained 24 questions. The questions were closed ones and half-open ones - for amending of brief answers. The introductory questions were identifying ones. The other questions were focused on positives and negatives which are closely connected with visits in emergency rooms. Nurses{\crq} questionnaire contained 29 questions, which were closed ones and half-open ones - for amending of brief answers and one question was open one - for expressing of their own opinion. The introductory questions in the questionnaires were identifying ones. The other questions were focused on positives and negatives which are connected with providing care to patients who come into emergency rooms for treatments. Treated patients, emergency room nurses and ordination nurses in Písek, Strakonice and Brno were my research population. 200 questionnaires were distributed; 100 questionnaires were distributed to emergency room nurses and 100 questionnaires were distributed to patients who were treated in emergency rooms. Findings were illustrated in diagrams, which reflect the answers of nurses and patients. The discussion was confronted with technical bibliography. In the conclusion there are stated the summarised results of the thesis, corroborated or refuted hypotheses as well as possible suggestions how to influence positively the forming of interrelations between nurses and patients in emergency rooms.

Radial approach to coronary catheterizations and interventions
Bernat, Ivo ; Rokyta, Richard (advisor) ; Vojáček, Jan (referee) ; Ošťádal, Petr (referee)
Radial approach in coronary catheterizations and interventions has been only an alternative of the femoral approach. But due to some important advantages radial approach has a chance to become the first choice in majority of catheterized patients. The most important advantage is the reduction of vascular access site bleeding complications. Additonal benefits are patient satisfaction, cost reduction, shorter hospital stay and possibility of the same-day discharge catheterizations and interventions. The aim of our work was to try to answer three open questions: 1. is it possible to catheterize majority of our patients from the left radial artery when 90% of them are right-handed ? 2. what is the optimal care for the radial artery after the procedure in prevention and treatment of radial artery occlusion? 3. is it effective to implement radial approach in primary PCI as a first approach for STEMI patients? The first part relates the left radial approach. After construction of our special variable support for the left arm and forearm we succesfully used this approach in our studies in almost 90% of patients. The second part of this work contains our randomized trial comparing two different doses of unfractionated heparin in prevention of radial artery occlusion after diagnostic cardiac catheterizations....

Müllerová, Michaela ; Hák, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kašparová, Klára (referee)
The corporate social responsibility is a voluntary concept of firm's embrace of responsibility for the impact of its activities on the environment and society. The corporate social responsibility is the brand and guarantee that firm runs its activities not only within the law and ethical standards, but goes far beyond the law and moral values. The thesis introduces related theories which contributed to corporate social responsibility as well. In addition, this thesis familiarizes with the open question of relationship between corporate social responsibility (performance) and firm's financial performance and presents the important empirical research in this area. Results of analysis, done in this thesis, indicate a slight negative relationship between corporate social responsibility (independent...

In the conclusion I show prevention and tolerance of mobbing and bossing. In practical part I point on assesment of hypothesis and evaluation of the target of my thesis. I suppose that the chicane show up in small measure on the workplace of the intensive care units. From my point of view I think that women working in the intensive care units are getting in a touch of bullying much more than men. In this part I want to show a methodology of research, parameter of complex and evaluation of research. In conclusion I get back to evaluation of research and starting a discussion. Key words: mobbing, bullying, bossing, conflict,...
