From a general point of view the bachelor thesis deals mainly with credit risk and also with all procedures used in the credit risk management. Firstly, the general phases of credit risk management are described giving emphasis on counterparty risk resulting from credit operations of Czech banks. Moreover, the thesis also pays attention to capital requirements for credit risk coverage run by bank institutions in relation to the concept of Basel II in Czech banking sector. Additionally, process of administration receivables from credit operation is analyzed. Above all, attention is paid to procedures and methods of receivable categorization from financial activities, specific allowances and possibilities of collateral and receivables collection. Metamorphism and Geotectonic Position of the Shotur Kuh Complex, Central Iranian Block
Ilkhchi, Rahmati Mahmoud ; Faryad, Shah Wali (advisor) ; Janák, Marian (referee) ; Reza Ghassemi, Mohammed (referee)
The thesis focuses on tectonics and petrology of the Shotur Kuh complex and it is subdivide into four chapters. The first chapter involves a brief summary of information on regional geology, metamorphism and geochronology from different basement units in Iran. Chapters 2 and 3 include results of my research work that are in print or submitted for publication to international journals, respectively. In general, these two chapters provide an interdisciplinary approach to the metamorphism and tectono-metamorphic evolution of the Shotur Kuh complex and emphasizing the related links between geochronology, metamorphic petrology, micro-structural and macro-structural analyses, and tectonics. The last chapter (4) is a summary of achieved results with their possible interpretation and some future directions of research in the basement units of Iran. Consolidation of the Iranian basement units by metamorphism with partial granitization and partly intense folding occurred during Late Precambrian. This process continued during several major orogenic phases that were accompanied by syntectonic metamorphism and magmatic events. The most important orogenic events were during Paleozoic, Middle Triassic, Middle Jurassic, Late Jurassic and late Cretaceous periods. Some authors assume only epeirogenic movements during...

Usage alternative methods in birth
Jarošová, Jana ; Kulhavá, Miluše (advisor) ; Mellanová, Alena (referee)
The thesis is divided into two parts. A theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part, describes physiological childbirth. Its partial phases, work of midwives and treatment for newborn child. Aromatherapy, homeopathy, acupuncture and acupressure are described as well. There is a note about a birth plan, childbirth at home and outpatient childbirth. Longer, empirical part was carried out by a method of guantitative research. It was supposed to discover what kinds of alternative methods were offered to women and which of them the women used. I was also interested, whether the women had their birth plan, who accompanied them to give birth and whether they were satisfied with the childbirthes. 11 I followed two samples - women in labour from Prague and women in labour from outside-Prague hospitals. In Prague, I guestioned women from Fakultní Thomayerova nemocnice, Fakultní nemocnice Bulovka and Fakultní nemocnice Motol. From outside-Prague hospitals, I chose : Městská nemocnice Neratovice, Nemocnice s poliklinikou Mělník. The other hospital does not want to be mentioned. Women who had Ceasarean section were not guestioned.

DC/DC converter 2,5kW/1500A for resistive heating of iron components
Martiš, Jan ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and construction of a single-phase switching power supply, which is intended for direct resistive heating of iron components. The power supply is especially intended for resistive heating of horse-shoes. The supply is able to deliver an output current of up to 1500 A at a power of up to 2500 W. The first part of this work deals with the design of individual parts of the unit, the second part is focused on construction and testing of the supply and the last part contains technical documentation. The power supply was successfully tested and the required output parameters were met. However some problems do exist, especially with overheating of the output rectifier and with contacting the heated component to the output leads of the supply. These problems will be discussed in the work. The power supply can be used as an alternative solution to classic means of iron heating. The methods and ideas presented in this work can be applied in a design of a similar power supply with high output current, but most of the design rules are valid generally for the given topology.

Megiddo in the Old Testament and in the Light of Contemporary Archaeology
Bémová, Jitka ; Beneš, Jiří (referee) ; Melmuk, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis "Megiddo in the Old Testament and in the light of contemporary archaeology" deals with a history of Megiddo from the earliest settlement as far as the Assyrian supremacy in the 8th century B.C.E. The archaeological research of the city was set in a contrast with biblical accounts. Introductory part of the thesis is engaged in the Land of Canaan in which Megido was situated and whose geographical and climatic conditions had effect on later formation of Megiddo city-state. The core of the text is comprised of descriptions of single development phases from the Canaanite to the Israelite city with an emphasis on a relationship between Egypt and Megiddo. The last part of the thesis is engaged in the most famous buildings in Megiddo, their precise dating and to whom the buildings should be attributed. The end of the thesis gives a short outline of the fall of the Northern Kingdom and of a subsequent Assyrian rule. Megiddo is presented as the capital of an Assyrian province. There is a biblical description of the royal city taken into the account in a contrast with the latest archaeological knowledge in a whole text. The aim of my thesis has been to compare biblical mentions of Megiddo with conclusions deduced from the archaeological excavations.

Development and validation of HPLC methods for analysis of pharmaceutical formulations
Matysová, Ludmila ; Solich, Petr (advisor) ; Karlíček, Rolf (referee) ; Nobilis, Milan (referee)
7. Summary Development and validation of HPLC methods The doctoral thesis concerns with development of HPLC methods for analysis of pharmaceutical formulations, which meet all requirements for suitability, precision and reliability. Documentation of these parameters is called validation. At first theoretical principles of chromatography are described in this work, with the emphasis to liquid chromatography, included HPLC. The instrumentation in HPLC is described, mentioning the new trends in stationary phase's development - for example monolithic columns, zirkonia stationary phase, HILIC and sub-2-microns phases. In the other part UPLC system, one of the new trends in liquid chromatography development is discussed. Next part deals with the development of HPLC methods for analysis of pharmaceutics and is followed by chapter, in which analysis of pharmaceutical formulations is described, included preparation of the samples before analysis, stability monitoring and further the analysis of impurities. The last, relatively large chapter is dealing with the validation of analytical methods. Several institutions are concerned with validation requirements. They issue recommendation and/or guidelines, which are cogent for this process. In the Czech Republic there exists State Institute for Drug Control (SUKL -...
