Czech-German business cooperation and how it is influenced by cultural differences

This thesis focuses on Czech-German business cooperation and how it is influenced by cultural differences. The goal of this thesis is to briefly summarize the Czech-German historical relations and the current state. The thesis also tries to predict the future course of this business cooperation. I also focus on the influence of cultural differences on business cooperation in the second part of this paper. I describe possible problems and also the suggested solutions to them.

Czech social songbooks as a cultural phenomenon in the second half of the 19th and the first half of the 20th centuries

This thesis is based on the catalogue of Czech social songbooks put together by the author in a form of a computer database for Department of Ethnomusicology, Ethnological Institute of Czech Academy of Sciences. Analyzis of these songbooks is complemented by taking research conducted in the past by wide range of scholars (E. Meliš, B Václavek, R. Smetana, M. O adlík, J. Plavec, V. Pletka, V. Karbusický, J. Kotek) into account. This provides basis for characterization of origin and developement of Czech social singing in the first half of the 19th century including characteristics of its key personalities (A. J. Puchmajer, J. J. Ryba, V. J. Tomášek, V. Hanka, F. M. Kníže, A. Jelen, J. K. Chmelenský, F. Škroup, F. L. elakovský, F. J. Vacek Kamenický, J. K. Tyl, V. J. Picek a K. Havlí ek Borovský) as well as characteristics of important publications (among others V nec ze zp v vlastenských, 1835-39, 1843-44). Following section provides an overview of the century long tradition of Czech social songbooks (1848-1948); the founding importance of Spole enský zp vník eský by J. B. Pichl (1851), later in musical cooperation with J. L. Zvona (1863) is highlighted. Opportunites and limits of museum and school cooperation

Master's thesis OPPORTUNITIES AND LIMITS OF MUSEUM AND SCHOOL COOPERTION deals with settings of the collaboration among school and museum. Thesis is divided into two basic parts. The first theoretical part is intended on definition of museum as an educational institution and it's relationship to the formal school educational system. The attention is paid to the exted of presence of museum as a facilitator of educational activities, the subject of education and the informal learning centre in the national school curriculum and to the conditions for succesful cooperation with schools. The second (empiric) part describes a research analysing the scope of the offer for schools in Prague provided by local museums, particularly in terms of coverage of national school curricilum goals.

Economic relations between The Czech Republic and Spain

First chapter deals with the general characteristics of Spain, focuses on basic information about Spain and also describes the development and the value of the current macro-economic indicators and compares them with the Czech values. The end of chapter is dedicated to basic cultural differences of Spain. The second chapter is divided into five sections. The first part deals with the legal background of mutual relations. The second focuses on the analysis of the development, volume, commodity and territorial structure of trade in goods. In addition, offers an overview of the most important exporters and importers and a vision of future cooperation. Next part is similar analysis of trade in services. The fourth section contains the characteristics of foreign direct investment (current trends, volume,investment flows, the most important investors from both countries, prospective areas of investment). Last, the fifth part of the second chapter, is my own evaluation of mutual relations based on the data from the previous sections.

Development of international trade of the Czech republic with Asian countries, to which territorial preferences are exercised

In terms of the Export strategy of the Czech Republic for the period from 2006 and 2010, the Czech government has created a registry of priority countries in the individual regions of the world, with which it would be beneficial to develop mutual commercial relationship due to the high dynamics of the economic growth in these countries. From the Asian region, I have chosen the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for my analysis of mutual foreign cooperation. In the first chapter, the foreign trade situation of the Czech Republic is analyzed. Consequently, in the second chapter, I continue with the introduction of the export policy of the Czech Republic. The third chapter describes the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in detail and the last part of my work deals with bilateral relationships between the Czech Republic and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and with the shape of the commercial and political side of the foreign cooperation.

The parting of the ways of the Nordic countries in the sphere of security policy after World War II

This bachelor thesis deals with the parting of the ways of the Nordic countries in the sphere of security policy after World War II. It seeks for the beginnings of the Nordic states cooperation and the roots of the divergent tendencies in their security policies as well. It also observes wider connections and circumstances leading to the break up either directly or indirectly. In the last section, the thesis aims at immediate consequences following the decision of the three Nordic countries to join North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and general and summarizing conclusions are finally drawn.

Podnikatelské prostředí, kulturní specifika a obchodní zvyklosti nizozemského trhu, spolupráce s ČR

The first chapter describes the general characteristics of the Dutch market from the perspective of the historical, political or economic position. In the second chapter I deals with specific cultural habits of both countries (the Netherlands and the Czech Republic) with a focus on conflicts in the negotiations and cultural differences. The last chapter is devoted to the practical example of Czech company cooperating with the Dutch company. In addition, more present outlined the emergence of cooperation, as is currently developing a partnership and future perspectives.

The relevance of the Munich Accord in the czechoslovakia - german relationships during 1938 - 1973

This thesis proved, that in the Czechoslovakia they didn't negotiate about the Munich Accord only in the sixties and seventies, but also immediately after the beginning of the Second World War. The arguments for its nullity brought E. Beneš and his colleagues. In 1945 the Czechoslovak government delt with this problem by tranfering the German inhabitants. The Munich Accord appeared again in 1967, when Czechoslovakia wanted to cooperate with Federal republic of Germany within the Ostpolitik. Finally, the problem was definitely solved in 1973, when both of the states signed and ratificated a Treaty on Bilateral Relations.

Inter-Departmental Cooperation at Primary Art Schools and How it is Organized

This bachelor final project deals with the current situation on the field of cooperation between various departments at the contemporary basic art schools in the Czech Republic. The first part is devoted to the generally given facts concerning the legislative regulations in the field of education. In the second part of this project confronts the author the theory with its practical application in the functioning of the school of this type on the daily basis. The final part is set up as a critical evaluation of the present situation that is among others based on the analysis of the data obtained in the form of two questionnaires distributed to a number of basic art schools in the Czech Republic. This interpretation of the results of the small research includes also suggestions with regard to solving various problems and stimulating further development in the field of co-operation among different departments of the basic art schools. Processing of Images of Petri Dishes

This master thesis deals with image processing of Petri dishes. The first part is about terms and procedures in laboratory practice. The following part is about devices and algorithms for image analysis of Petri dishes. The second part is about draft and implementation of own colony counting application, which was developed in cooperation with the microbiological laboratory. The application is developed for mobile devices running Android OS. The master thesis also includes the design and creation of two lighting units, which uses as an accessory for better results in the analysis of Petri dishes. In conclusion are presented results, compared lighting units and various types of mobile devices, on which the application was tested.
