In various schemes it occurs in almost all contemporary law systems and in principle it can only be brought to effect upon fulfilling number of strict conditions (legal basis, public interest and compensation). Legal bounds of expropriation are subject to several international agreements such as The Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations General Assembly (1948) or The European...

Determinanty cen nemovitostí v Brně a okolí
Hirš, Petr
Hirš, P. Determinants of house prices in and around Brno. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2015. The aim of this thesis theoretically and empirically analyzes determinants which substantially affect the price of apartments in and around Brno. For the analysis of the prices of apartments are used selling prices of apartments from a database of a real estate. Data are processed by using the method of least squares (OLS) through program Gretl. The work also describes the current state of the property market and its functioning, including familiarization with the works of other authors. In conclusion, the results of the analysis of selling prices of apartments are evaluated including a comparison with existing works dealing with this topic.

Theory of real estate valuation + the valuation of specific property
Major, Zsófia ; Heřman, Jan (advisor) ; Zeman, Karel (referee)
The goal of the master thesis is to familiarize the reader with basic theoretical concepts and selected methods of real estate valuation. Describes the differences in between administrative and market approaches. It mainly delas with yield method of valuation. The aim of the practical part is to apply the described methods on a particular case of valuation and afterwards to estimate the value of the real estate. The object of the valuation is an university dorm Jarov III.F. The estimation of the dorm value is made by administrative and yield method. The steps of administrative valuation are described and explained in full length. For the right explanation of the yield method there is a need to describe the revenues and costs of the dorm. As well there is a description of the net operational income. In the end of the thesis the two results are compared and explained.

Limburský, Petr ; Jiráň, Luboš (advisor) ; Bátora, Jozef (referee) ; Ernée, Michal (referee)
AnotaceEN Petr Limburský: Tři kapitoly z problematiky konce eneolitu a počátku starší doby bronzové ve střední Evropě. / Three chapters from the Late Aeneolithic and the EarlyBronze Age Transition in the Central Europe/ Encompassing the inconsistence of period of the Late Aenelithic and beginnings of the Early Bronze Age that has been widely discussed in its entirety in the literature is limited on one side by the detailed analyses of archaeological materia! at the levels of regions or find collections, and by the existence of supra-regiona! models and interpretative schemes on the other. By using detailed insights into the above-mentioned issues, the submitted thesis can draw its attention mainly to the topics of chronology based on Radiocarbon dating, testimony of change of the grave equipment in the observed period of time, and properties of burial inventories. Moreover, results of field excavations conducted by the author of so-far the most extensive cemetery of the Bell- Beaker culture in Bohemia at Vlíněves, Mělník district, have been a!so introduced and utilized in this thesis. Three distinct milestones can be highlighted in development of the Radiocarbon dating method. Without questions, the fust one is represented by the enforcement of credibility, applicability, and relative universality of this...

Using Nothing We Want to Change the the World
Lacina, Štěpán ; Holý, Jiří (advisor) ; Heczková, Libuše (referee)
This work focuses on the evolution of Dada and its manifestation in Czech literature, especially in the twenties of the twentieth century, but, of course, it focuses on later manifestations too. It focuses on the main features of dadaism, like abhor technics, mysticism and rituality, destruction, universality, dada language or humour. Application of dada to czech discourse would be unable, without defining these features. This work focuses on real or potential dadaistic manifestations and theoretical reception in the czech discourse, which is represented by Karel Teige on the side of oppositors and the Devetsil group of Brno on the side of propagators. The last chapter is about the relations between dadaism and carnival culture, that wat theoretically formulated by Bachtin. I focuses especially on identical properties. Key words: Dadaism, carnival culture, humour, destruction, manifesto.

Construction and reconstruction of university library buildings in the Czech Republic over the period 2000-2010
Grillová, Jana ; Buřilová, Marcela (advisor) ; Kurka, Ladislav (referee)
The thesis deals with structures of university libraries in the Czech Republic. It is notionally split into two parts. The theoretical part contains the views of Faulkner- Brown (architect), Mr. McDonald (Director of Library of the University of East London), PhDr. Ladislav Kurka and Ing. Martin Svoboda on the appearance and properties of the ideal model of university library in terms of architecture and social factors. The practical part at first contains general information about university libraries and their position relative to the legislation in the CR. The main focus of work is a summary of newly constructed or reconstructed buildings of academic libraries in the Czech Republic in the years 2000-2010. Each library is described on the basis of found information or personal visits of the author. The following assessment describes how the above-described libraries are functional and aesthetically well made. There are scetched basic problems with which the buildings face now or may face in the future and how it can be solved. In conclusion, the author questions subjectively the situation of university libraries in the Czech Republic and their near future.

Magnetooptical properties of semiconductor quantum structures
Uxa, Štěpán ; Grill, Roman (advisor)
Title: Magnetooptical Properties of Semiconductor Quantum Structures Author: Štěpán Uxa Department: Institute of Physics of Charles University Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Roman Grill, PhD Supervisor's e-mail address: grill@karlov.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: In this theoretical work, a detailed study of optical properties of excitons in double quantum wells subject to magnetic and electric fields is presented. Starting from the well-known Luttinger formulae describing the real valence-band structure of III-V semi- conductor compounds, we developed an efficient way to solve the Schrödinger equation of a coulombically-bound pair electron-hole forming an exciton. Derived formulae were illus- trated on relevant figures, giving us an opportunity to better understand the effects of external fields on the studied system. Dispersion relations, the shift of energy levels in an electric field, absorption and photoluminescence spectra, and charge density distribution were calculated and achieved results were discussed in detail. Keywords: exciton, double quantum well, coupled quantum wells, Luttinger (-Kohn) hamiltonian, valence-subband mixing

Efficient competency model
Hoffmannová, Anna ; Štikar, Jiří (referee) ; Riegel, Karel (advisor)
Methodology of competencies developed from researches focused on determining the properties and characteristics which are involved in the distinction between average and superior performance. A contribution of competency model is that it helps employees to identify the success criteria required to be successful in their current or future job. Determination of requirements for certain positions allows subsequently to compare a current level of skills of employees with the required ones. An effective competency model supports and contributes to the objectives strategy goals of the organization. The theoretical part of the work summarizes the current approaches and findings on this issue. In the practical part, we test and verify competency model. Using a revision of one competency model and creating a new model subsequently we check whether the model used in the company reflects really the strategic needs and whether is linked to others HR processes. For this purpose, the model is subjected to complete analysis that determines gaps and opportunities for improvement. Results are implemented in the solution of the new situation. The work emphasizes the idea that competency model is not universal and the effectiveness of their applications lies in their abilities to be identified, defined, understood and...
