Barbora Szotáková, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Effect of albendazole on activity of biotransformations enzymes in lancet fluke Disease caused by lancet flukes, dicrocoeliosis, can lead to dicrease of ruminants utility and consequently to economic loses. Albendazole (the benzimidazole anthelmentic) is one of the most important drugs being used in therapy of dicrocoeliosis. Because of the need to use high and repeated dosage of albendazole, a drug resistance can occure. The aim of present thesis was to determine the influence of albendazole on lancet fluke biotransformation enzyme activity. In this experiment, lancet flukes isolated from the liver of mouflons were used. One group of lancet flukes was incubated with albendazole, another group was used as a control sample. The enzyme activity of chosen enzymes (flavine-containing monooxygenases, carbonyl-reducing enzymes, glutathione S-transferases, UDP-glucuronosyl transferases, UDP-glucosyl transferases) was determined in cytosolic fraction, mitochondria and microsomes of both groups of parazites. Application of the geographical and historical curiosities of Příbram region on the 1st grade of the primary school

The contain of the thesis named Application of the geographical and historical curiosities on the 1st grade of the primary school is split into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis is dealing with homeland related characteristics of the relevant region, namely geographical and socioeconomic characteristics, history and other homeland related curiosities including presentation of important local personalities. The practical part of the thesis is consequently following the theoretical part in application of the above mentioned characteristics into educational praxis by two multimedia programs for the inter-active class board. Both programs are Both programs are intended to be used for teaching the students of the 4th class of the primary school and are in compliance with the general educational framework for the primary schools (in Czech: ?rámcový vzdělávací program?). In addition, both programs are based on the educational topic ?Man and its world? and its sections ?Place where we live? and ?People and the time?. There is a manual for both multimedia programs attached to the practical part of the thesis containing advices, tips and ideas on working with the programs. The thesis is furthermore devided into following chapters: introduction, analysis of the relevant literature, methodology, summary, list of relevant literature and annexes. ?

Usage of Open Source Software in Medium Sized Business

This thesis deals with problems of open source software and its usage in middle sized organizations. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first of them describes the definition, characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of usage of open source software. Second part presents actual offer on the market and description of individual products. The third part uses gained findings from the previous chapters to design application architecture consisting of programs with open source codes for particular conditions of specific company with, for purposes of this thesis, hidden corporate name under World Assistance. First of the main goals of this thesis is to analyze possibilities of implementation of open source software instead of commercial solutions. Next one is to chart the offers on the market with open source software appropriate for implementation in middle-size businesses in areas such are ERP, CRM or ECM. The third goal is detailed analysis of application architecture of the World Assistance Company and inspection of its strategic business processes. Last objective is to design application architecture with usage of open source software for particular conditions of chosen firm. These goals were achieved by studying many information resources, discussions with specialist about the given topic and further analysis of current conditions of particular company. The benefits of this thesis are especially the compact view on open source software and its possibilities of usage in a mid-sized company. Last but not the least contribution is the design of the application architecture for particular, quite complex, environment of World Assistance Company.

European monetary union

The aim of this work is to analyze the success of European monetary integration and it's contribution to countries, who's economics are, no matter if for the long lasting difficulties or recent transformation, likely to be called hazardous. In the first part, the work concerns itself with the very conception of the idea of European monetary integration and it's development, over the final form of the project, it's accomplishment up till current problem and challenges. The second part is an analysis of chosen countries who belong in the category named above. With this countries I will try to analyze the effect that joining the monetary union had on their economy. In the end I'll summarize the acquired knowledge to evaluate the effect of the common currency on the chosen group of countries.

Company Kamenolom Žlutava, s.r.o. belongs to companies that profits from mining and finishing stones. My work will be divided to two parts. The first part of my work will be especially theoretic. It will be especially about concepts, subjects and then I will explain methods of processing of financial analysis. The second part will be practic, where I use knowledges gained from the theoretical part. At first I will characterize company named Kamenolom Žlutava s.r.o., then I will talk about financial analysis from 2005 to 2009. At the end I will explain results and then I valorize the situation of this company.

Cistercian Monastery Velehrad - The Development of Possessions of the Monastery 1205-1420

The Development of Domain of the Abby of Velehrad 1205-1420 - Summary My paper tries to make an overview of possessiones of the Cistercian monastery Velehrad in the period between the founding and a year 1420. First I studied the deeds contained in series CDB II.-III. and CDM II.-XV. I gained the informations and put them in the charts with 3 columns with the name from the deed, the current name and other informations. I chose 4 deeds which had confirmed the possessions of the monastery in each year and I made maps with villages according to them. Velehrad Monastery was founded as a Cistercian monastery, so it was a part of filial system of monasteries. The line was Morimond - Ebrach - Pomuk - Langheim - Plasy - Velehrad. The monastery was founded by Vladislav Jindřich, who was a ruler in Moravia, with support from his brother the Bohemian king Přemysl Otakar I. and the bischop of Olomouc. 11th November 1205 12 monks with the abbot Thicelin came to Moravia to build Velehrad near a small river called Salaška. Vladislav Jindřich gave them 4 villages called Boršice, Zlechov, Huštěnovice a Kostelany. The Pope Inocenc III., the king Přemysl Otakar and the bishop Robert gave their support to the monastery, as well. The possessions of the monastery flourished in the 13. Century and the monastery became rich....

Numerical modelling of dynamic response of the vibrated pile

In this work, we deal with the problem of analyzing the dynamic effects caused by the realization of the vibrated pile (in the industrial zone Poříčany). Software named Plaxis 2D is used for numerical modeling. Experimental measurements carried out by Institute of Geonics AS CR are used for model creation, especially for the determination of seismic loading. Obtained results document impact of vibrated pile realization on the geological mediums.

The name: The use of games and outdoor activities in teaching general education subjects at Elementary School (applied to Homeland study). Objects ofthe thesis: To mak:e up the hand-book of games and exercises for teaching Homeland study in 4. and 5. year ofElementary School. To get the feedback from involved teachers trough the practical validation ofthe hand-book. Methods: We have studied proper literary sources dedicated to games and playing, curriculum of homeland, too. We have used the methods of qualitative research for fit feedback from teachers - the method ofopen questionnaire alias inquiry and method of substandard dialogue with persons involved in research. Results: Creating of improved hand-book of games and exercises - we have made the changes according to teachers' advices and references. Project and realisation of a ropes course in the selected region

Name of the bachelor essay: Ropes course - project and execution of the project . The goal of this bachelor essay is to create a complete step-by-step document of a rope center realization in the Recreational and sport center U Starého Rybníka in Zbraslavice by Zruč nad Sázavou. The reader will be briefly introduced to the history and development of the rope centers and the following environmental education. Further it offers the description and the extended current processes and means necessary to build a rope way, which we later on implicate into the practice in a real rope center with 7 rope obstacles. The methods used in the period of creation of this bachelor essay were firstly collection of the data from Czech as well as international literature and experiences of the professionals in fields that directly concern rope activities. Gathered data were used for the proposal of a rope center project, which was approved and later on indeed realized. The result of our work is the collection of experiences and knowledge, which offers to the reader a complete view of the rope center building process from the very first project until the first step on the rope obstacle. The aim of thesis is to propose specifications of workshop named Profesní navigace, co se životem na prahu dospělosti?, which is organized at the Faculty of Management of University of Economics (FM VŠE) in Jindřichův Hradec. The seminar is aimed at helping students, who are looking for answers to their questions, which are connected with their entry into adulthood. Trained tutors, authors of course, help them with using the method of process-oriented work. In the theoretical part I am writing about personality development and about methods, which are using to conduct these courses. In the practical part I am applying acquired knowledge into concrete recommendations for further development this workshop.
