Czech Economic Diplomacy as Support of Export to Germany

The thesis deals with the Czech economic diplomacy. The aim is to assess the role of the Czech economic diplomacy, especially in terms of support of the foreign trade with Germany. The thesis is divided into five chapters, the first chapter contains the theoretical notion, the second chapter deals with the development of economic diplomacy in the Czech Republic from 1989 until today, the third chapter describes current model of the Czech economic diplomacy. The fourth chapter examine Czech network of export promotion in Germany and the fifth chapter is devoted to case studies of two Czech export companies.

The thesis focuses on the economic diplomacy of China. The objective of the thesis is to identify and analyze economic diplomacy of China and specify activies in foreign policy in order to secure energy security. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part contains definition of the economic diplomacy. The second part deals with the economic diplomacy of China, and its propagation in the world. Finally, in third and fourth part describe principles of cooperation between China-Africa and China-Latin America through trade, foreign direct investment and financial help.
Economic diplomacy of Spain-comparision with Czech republic

This bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of economic diplomacy in Spain and Czech Republic. This thesis is based on the theoretical definition of the concept of economic diplomacy and proposes solutions on how Czech Republic could learn from the implementation of Spanish economic diplomacy. The aim is to compare these two economic diplomacies and point out the main differences. First part of this thesis is focused on the basic concepts of economic diplomacy, its origin and main contributors. Second part deals with the analysis of Czech economic diplomacy, especially with export and foreign direct investments. Third part characterizes the same indicators in Spain. In conclusion, on the basis of evaluated data, corresponding recommendations and possible changes are proposed.
Economic diplomacy od Austria - comparison with the Czech Republic

The topic of this thesis is the issue of economic diplomacy of Austria and comparison with the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, it describes the history of diplomacy, interpretation of the concept and main features of economic diplomacy. The aim of this work is to analyze the current economic diplomacy of Austria and the Czech Republic and to highlight its importance. The key point is the analysis of systems supportig export of interested countries. Evaluation of important institutions that deal with the issue of export support are also the main part of this work. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to a comparison of economic diplomacy of Austria and the Czech Republic.
Economic diplomacy of Slovakia

For the state, especially small as Slovak republic, it is important to have an effective, modern and prosperous economic diplomacy. The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to define the economic diplomacy of Slovakia and to characterize its targets and mission in the economy of Slovakia. The work first theoretically describes the economic diplomacy and its historical background. The second part is focused on the selected instruments of economic diplomacy and their activities and contribution to Slovak economy. The last chapter is devoted to the economic diplomacy in the perspective of the balance of trade and its economic impact on the macroeconomic indicators.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is economic diplomacy, which is considered as an instrument of foreign policy of the state to promote its interests abroad. Its importance is currently still growing, mainly due to economization of international relations. The aim is to analyze the system of economic diplomacy in the Czech republic and in the United States of America, to make their comparison and to propose appropriate recommendations to the Czech Republic for streamlining, inspired by the system of economic diplomacy in the USA.

Economic diplomacy of China in Africa

This diploma thesis analyzes the economic diplomacy of China in Africa. It focuses on searching for motives, players and instruments used for its implementation. The starting point is a theoretical description of economic diplomacy in general followed by a more specific description of foreign policy and economic diplomacy of China. The main part of the thesis is dedicated to the analysis of particular areas of economic diplomacy of China in Africa - mainly trade, investments and development aid - where it is possible to observe implementation in practice. The thesis further deeply analyzes the sector of natural resources where all the particular instruments and players meet. Marginally it includes an analysis of others specific parts as health diplomacy and soft power. The complex picture is drawn in the section of case study of Nigeria which is the typical example of the Chinese strategy of economic diplomacy. The concluding paragraphs of the thesis evaluate the overall implications of China's presence in Africa.
China’s economic diplomacy in Africa

The thesis focuses on China's economic diplomacy in Africa. The theoretical part deals with the concept of economic security (as a part of soft security) and economic diplomacy (as a way how to secure economic security). Africa is just one of many areas where China is engaged. The objective of the thesis is to identify the particular policies of China's economic diplomacy. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part deals with the theoretical concepts, the second part with the energy security and policy in China. The third part deals with the individual areas of cooperation between China and Africa and China's main principles of cooperation. The main areas are international trade, foreign direct investment and foreign aid. The last part describes the Chinese cooperation with two particular countries -- Angola and Sudan.
Czech - Cuban Relations with a Focus on Economic Diplomacy

The thesis focuses on the development of bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Cuba, with a focus on economic diplomacy between these two countries. Czech-Cuban diplomatic relations have gone through a very interesting and unique development. The work is divided into two main parts. The first one summarizes diplomatic and then economic relations before 1989, the second part focuses on the period after the Velvet Revolution. The aim of my work is to determine whether it can be soon expected a significant improvement of mutual Czech-Cuban relations.
