Case Study of A Physiotherapy Treatment of A Patient with the Diagnosis of Fracture of Lateral Malleolus

Title: Case Study of A Physiotherapy Treatment of A Patient with the Diagnosis of Fracture of Lateral Malleolus Aim: The aim of this bechelor's thesis is to present basic information on ankle fractures and to elaborate a case report of a patient with the above mentioned diagnoses. Method: The thesis consists of two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part presents a discription of the anatomic structure and the fiction of the ankle joint, the kinesiology of the foot and the biomechanics of walking. Furthermore, it deals with traumatology of the ankle area focusing on fractures, diagnostic methods, treatment and physotherapy methods and on courses of action after ankle fractures. The practical part is conceived as a case study. It includes an anamnesis of a patient, an entrance kinesiology analysis on the basis of which aims and methods of the therapy were determined. The thesis presents a description of the course of the individual therapeutic units, an output kinesiology analysis and a therapy efficiency evaluation. Analysis of the Lipno dam reservoir fisheries management

The aim of the present bachelor thesis was to evaluate a development of the Lipno dam reservoir (the Vltava River, South Bohemia, Czech Republic) fisheries management during period from its filling in year 1958 to 1997 and during period 2004-2009. Fisheries statistics of number of stocked/caught fish (provided by the Czech Fishing Union; CFU) were used for the assessment of the state, as well as quantitative and qualitative changes of ichthyocenoses in time during monitored periods. These data were also compared with the results of the ichthyological screening at this dam reservoir in 2008 (undertaken by the employees of Biology Centre of the AS CR, v.v.i., Institute of Hydrobiology) in order to reveal a possible diference between a real fish assemblage compostion and structure of fishes caught by sport fishermen. Analyses of the catch sheets of the members of six choosen local organizations (belonging to CFU) from 2009 were used for evaluation of degree of fishing pressure during one choosen season (whole year) and for assessing of age structure of sport fishermen visiting Lipno dam reservoir.

Marian devotion in Bohemia after the Battle of White Mountain: example of the work of J. I. Dlouhoveský

This thesis engages in the Marian cult in Bohemia in the second half of the 17th century. The first, general part is the characteristic of the Marian devotion with the secondary literature, followed by a chapter on Czech prints with the Marian theme (1650-1750). The base of the thesis is the analysis of the work of J. I. Dlouhoveský (1638-1701). The analysis focuses on some forms of the Marian cult: pilgrimage, cult of saints (especially of Bohemian patrons), Marian devotion in the Habsburg dynasty and a folk piety. The last chapter deals with the literary self-presentation of Dlouhoveský (example of the Marian devotee). The appendix consists of the inventory of all works of Dlouhoveský, and of the graphs that summarize information about the Marian prints (1650-1750).

Title of bachelor's thesis: The Case Study of a Patient after Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fractures Summary: The thesis consists of two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part presents a brief description of the anatomic structure, the function, the kinesiology and the biomechanics of the spine. Furthermore it deals with the issue of the osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures and the surgical and conservative treatment as well as the contemporary methods of the physiotherapy. The practical part is a case study. It includes an anamnesis of a patient, an entrance kinesiology analysis. The aims and the methods of the physiotherapy were set on the basis of this analysis results. The bachelor's thesis provides a description of the course of the individual therapeutic units, an output kinesiology analysis, and a therapy efficiency evaluation. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the case study of a 65 years old patient with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures. The therapy efficiency evaluation shows the improvement of the patient's health condition. The pain reduction of the patient might be considered as a significant achievement. Název: Analýza komunikačního mixu SAZKA ARENY a jeho vlivu na zákazníky Name: Analysis of SAZKA ARENA Communication Mix and Its Intluence on Customers Cíle práce: Rozbor komunikačního mixu SAZKA ARENY, poznání činností s tím souvisejících a zhodnocení a stanovení návrhů, které by mohly přinést vyšší efektivitu komunikačního mixu. Metoda: V této práci byla nejdříve použita metoda analýzy STEP k rozboru vlivu faktorů jednotlivých segmentů globálního prostředí na SAZKA ARENU a k pochopení dalších souvislostí rozebíraných v následné SWOT analýze a popisné analýze komunikačního mixu. Dotazník v závěru přináší údaje o reálném vnímání některých nástrojů komunikačního mixu, na základě kterých lze doplnit doporučení k popisné analýze. Výsledky: Přibližují problematiku jednotlivých používaných nástrojů komunikačního mixu SAZKA ARENY, hodnotí jejich působení na zákazníky či potencionální zákazníky a přináší doporučení na další možné kroky v jejich rozšíření a zefektivnění. Název práce: Vliv Schultzova autogenního tréninku na změny bolesti a afektů u klientů s degenerativními změnami bedenú páteře. Title: The influence ofSchulz's autogenous training upon changes ofpain and affects in clients with degenerative changes ofIumbar spine. Cíl práce: Cílem práce je posoudit vliv Schultzova autogenního tréninku na změny bolesti a afektů u klientů s degenerativními změnami bederní páteře. Metoda: Práce ověřuje předpoklad, že terapie metodou Schultzova autogenního tréninku povede k ústupu bolesti, strachu z bolesti, úzkosti, zlosti a deprese. Sledovali jsme dva muže s diagnózou onemocnění lumbálních a jiných meziobratlových plotének, kteří byli zařazeni do tříměsíční terapie metodou Schultzova autogenního tréninku, která probíhala dvakrát týdně individuálně. Na počátku a na konci výzkumu byl proveden rozhovor a orientační kineziologický rozbor. Dále byly aplikovány vizuální analogové škály VAS_I, VAS_U, VAS_S a testy strachu z bolesti, úzkosti, zlosti a deprese. V průběhu studie byli klienti testováni vizuálními analogovými škálami vždy před začátkem a po skončení terapie metodou Schultzova autogenního tréninku a na konci každého měsíce testy strachu z bolesti, úzkosti, zlosti a deprese. The history, present and future of school libraries in the United States of America and their impact on students' academic achievement

Rigorózní práce se zabývá historií školních knihoven v USA, nejdůležitějšími aspekty jejich současného fungování a naznačením trendů, které budou v budoucnosti pro jejich postavení a rozvoj určující. V práci jsou analyzovány základní statistické údaje, které se vážou k problematice školních knihoven v USA. Těžištěm práce je rozbor všech základních oblastí školního knihovnictví. Jde o financování, programy školních knihoven, jejich personální zajištění, architekturu a prostorové vybavení, nové technologie a jejich dopad na činnost školních knihoven, jejich akviziční politiku. V jednotlivých kapitolách porovnávám statistické ukazatele s "ideálním" stavem, který je pro činnost školních knihoven doporučován příslušnými institucemi, které mají tuto problematiku ve své gesci. Obsáhlá kapitola je věnována výsledkům odborných studií, které se věnují jednotlivým parametrům a faktorům v činnosti školních knihoven a jejich dopadům na akademické výsledky jejich uživatelů - žáků či studentů. Závěr práce je věnován výhledu do budoucnosti, základním problémům, trendům a výzvám, se kterými budou školní knihovny v USA konfrontovány.

Publishing house Heinrich Bauer Verlag in Czech Republic : analysis of the company and its magazines assortiment

This bachelor thesis is concerned with the presence of the German publishing house Heinrich Bauer Verlag in the Czech Republic, active on the Czech market through the daughter company Bauer Media, v. o. s. (hereinafter as Bauer Media). Heinrich Bauer Verlag acts as a worldwide media group and is covered by Bauer Media Group. The main goal of my thesis is to analyze the position of Bauer Media on the Czech media market. At the same time I focus on the development of the mother company. As an analysis method I use the evaluation of the chronological development of both of the companies with an emphasis on the most fundamental circumstances. In case of Bauer Media I compare the observations with the development of the Czech magazine market. Further I analyze especially the specific data about paid circulation and magazine readership of the magazines published by Bauer Media because magazines are the primary focus of the Czech company, as well as the mother company. The bachelor thesis is divided into three main parts. In the introductory theoretical part I explain various theories and definitions which are linked to the topic of the bachelor thesis.
