Deformation of surface ground induced by process of inundation of worked-out areas after termination of underground mining exploitation
Hortvík, Karel
The liquidation of mine exploiting is accompanied by termination of mine water pumping. The inundation of space formations, which were dewatered during mining of deposit due to technological reasons, will provoke disturbing of the existing stress-strain conditions in rock massif, which hitherto have been in an equilibrium state. By acting of upward hydrostatic pressure of ground water on rock massif a relieving of existing stress condition will occur by which the deformation changes in rock massif would be induced. These changes will be manifested depending on magnitude of anthropogenic disturbance of rock massif and on scope of inundation also in surface ground in form of its upheaval.

The comparison of the effect of methods by Kegel and Mojžíšová in patients with stress incontinence
Polanská, Denisa ; Anderlová, B. (advisor) ; Ježková, Martina (referee)
Urinary incontinence is defined as the involuntary escape of urine that is objectively demonstrable and causes social and hygienic problems. It is a common problem, that is in its results also important medical, social and economical defect. The object of the research of this work was a group of woman patients with the stress form of urinary incontinence, that was instruated by Kegel's or Mojžíšová's methods in home exercises. The goal of this thesis was to influence contractility, power and tense of pelvic floor muscles and to evaluate the effect of the chosen methods. Objectively the results of the work don't demonstrate change of assessed parameters, but it has came to subjective improvement of urinary incontinence's symptoms and differences in kineziological investigation. Title: Analysis of factors influencing the success of competitors in the X-Alps competition. Work objective: The main objective of this work is the analysis of physiological parameters and level of flying skills of the only one Czech representative in the X-Alps competition and comparison of these results with the world's elite competitors involved in this extreme competition. Method: Method of personal descriptive case study was used for this thesis. Necessary data were collected by laboratory measurement and by questionnaire. In the laboratory measurement we used appropriate tests for physical fitness. In questionnaire we used method of CAWI - Computer Assisted Web Interviewing. Results: Czech representative, three times participated in the X-Alps, is trained individual with a high level of aerobic fitness. In the stress tests reached VO2max 70,8 ml/ kg/min and ventilation 171.8 l/min. His weakness in this competition is a low number of annual flying hours and only little experience with flying in a terrain of high mountains. Key words: Paragliding, X-Alps, Adventure race, physical fitness, paragliding skills

Investment casting of gamma TiAl intermetallics
Zemčík, L. ; Dlouhý, Antonín
The paper deals with the physical and chemical analyses of the above processes and gives their evaluation based on the results of experimental melts of the type of Ti48Al2Cr2Nb1B (at.%) obtained in vacuum induction furnace. In present study introduces a 1D model of heat flow in the system composed of a TiAl intermetallic casting, a ceramic shell mould and the vacuum furnace environment. Furthermore, a coupled 1D model of thermal strain evolves in the casting ů mould system during cooling to room temperature is also presented. The parametric study aimed at the minimization of thermal stresses provided optimum process parameters used later in investment casting of TiAl turbocharger wheels. The semi-optimized initial mould temperatures and cooling kinetics resulted in macroscopically sound castings that were free of misruns, macrocracks and internal porosity.

Bohuslav Balbín and his work Bohemia Docta
BARTOŠOVÁ, Jiřina
The task of my thesis, called Bohemia Docta, is to translate selected keynotes of this piece of this work which hasn´t been translated into Czech so far. The author of this book is Bohuslav Balbín a Jesuit, Baroque writer and historian. The book was published in 1777, which is 19 years after Balbín´s death. The keynotes deal with educated personalities form very beginning of our history up to the date of publication. It also deals with the author´s personality and his contribution the Czech culture. Also the judgment of the writer´s objectivity is stressed meaning extent to which he was influenced by religious thinking.

The significance of psychosomatic relations in cervical and orofacial region in anxious pacients for physiotherapy
Janouchová, Ivana ; Stackeová, Daniela (advisor) ; Jalovcová, Miroslava (referee)
Title of diploma thesis: The Significance of Psychosomatic Relations in Cervical and Orofacial Region in Anxious Patients for Physiotherapy Objectives: To study available literature concerning relations between anxiety and pain in cervical and orofacial region and to find out a mechanism and cause of this pain. Then suggesting a suitable methods of physiotherapy for anxious patients suffering from pain in cervical and orofacial region. Methods: The diploma thesis is written in a theoretical form on a basis of review of a relevant and available literature. Results: Anxiety has a connection with pain in a cervical and orofacial region, but it's difficult to find out a specific mechanism of a development of these pain. It's advisable to use methods aimed at improvement of a body awareness, realization of connection between experience of anxiety and somatic symptoms, practice of a different methods of kineziotherapy, relaxation techniques, breathing exercises and some local methods of physiotherapy in the therapy of anxious patients. Key worlds: anxiety, physiotherapy, neck muscles, temporomandibular disorder, psychosomatics, stress

Numerical model of NATM tunnel in stiff clays
Svoboda, Tomáš
The thesis demonstrates the application of a hypoplastic model in class A predictions of a NATM tunnel in an urban environment. The Kralovo Pole tunnel is a main construction of a northern part of a Large City Ring Road construction in Brno. The tunnel was excavated in a stiff clay, is 14 m wide with 6 m to 21 m of overburden thickness. The constitutive model was calibrated using laboratory data and the parameters were optimised using monitoring data from an exploratory drift. Based on the optimised data set, the future tunnel was simulated. After the tunnel excavation the model predictive capabilities could be evaluated. In addition, a Mohr - Coulomb constitutive model was used in simulations of the exploratory adit and plain strain model of the tunnel. The 2D stress relief method for simulating NATM tunnels using plane strain finite elements was in the thesis evaluated by comparison with fully 3D simulations. Three real shallow tunnels in urban environment in different stiff clays were simulated.

Forms of mental hygiene and their application to crisis hotline workers
Fabíková, Lenka ; Loneková, Katarína (advisor) ; Štětovská, Iva (referee)
This thesis deals with the forms of mental hygiene and their application to crisis hotline workers. In the theoretical part the work focuses on the characteristics and specificities of telephonic crisis intervention. Methods of mental hygiene suitable for crisis hotline workers are presented too. The empirical part focuses on mapping of the forms of mental hygiene, which are provided by crisis hotlines to their workers in the Czech Republic. Individual forms of mental hygiene of crisis hotline workers were also mapped. Crisis hotline workers burnout was investigated in the empirical part of the thesis by the means of CBI - Copenhagen Burnout Inventory. It was also confirmed that greater degree of compliance with selected principles of mental hygiene by cisis hotline workers has the relationship with burnout lower incidence. Hypotheses concerning the relationship between sociodemographic data (sex, age, educational attainment, length of praktice, type of employment in the workplace and beyond) and the rate of burnout were not confirmed. The aim of the thesis was to offer possible ways of how to deal with the stress to crisis hotline workers and how they can optimally use the methods of mental hygiene, which can in practice preventively work against burnout.

The influence of oxidative stress on mammalian sperm quality and fertilization ability.
Dudková, Barbora ; Komrsková, Kateřina (advisor) ; Svoboda, Petr (referee)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the oxidative stress and its influence on structures and physiologic functions of mammalian sperm. Oxidative stress is a consequence of imbalance between pro-oxidants and anti-oxidants in the body. It is associated with impaired quality of sperm and it is considered to be one of the major reasons of male infertility, including humans. This work is presented as a research review targeting how and where reactive oxygen species are generated in the male reproductive tract. It summarizes specific structures and physiologic functions that are influenced by reactive oxygen species either positively or negatively and it also covers a protective role of antioxidants in seminal fluid.
