NOVÁKOVÁ, Kateřina
Administration and documentation are inseparable and obligatory parts of nurse's everyday work. Documentation in healthcare serves to communication of necessary patient information. Medical documentation is kept by physicians. Nursing documentation is conducted in parallel with medical documentation. Nursing documentation records facts of the nursing care provided to a particular patient. Duly kept nursing documentation is a quality indicator of qualified nurse's work. It has to comply with applicable legislation and reflect the latest research results. Documentation has to be brief, clear, concise and factual. It should definitely not be extensive, time consuming, complicated and it should not contain useless information and duplicities. Nurses should not be overloaded by document keeping and should not spend more time on it than with patients. Aim 2: To map how nurses perceive document keeping in terms of time, how much time they really spend on documentation within their working hours. Aim 3: To analyse nursing documentation at selected hospital departments. Research questions: Research question 1: Do nurses feel overloaded by nursing documentation keeping? Research question 2: How much time do nurses have to spend on documentation within their working hours? Research question 3: Is the time spent on documentation used effectively? Research question 4: Would nurses welcome changes in nursing documentation? Applied methods: The research part of the thesis was based on qualitative research method applied at selected departments of a regional type hospital. The research results from the interviews, document analysis and working hours scanning will be provided to the examined hospital management. They may help the hospital management with better insight into their documentation and lead to improvement of the document keeping in general and particularly ease the work of nurses as they are overloaded anyway.
The quality management system in the selected company
MAŘÍKOVÁ, Iveta
This thesis deals with the international standards ISO. Specifically, a description of the implementation of EN ISO 9001:2008 in the selected business. The application of ISO standards in the company has led to an improvement and more importantly to greater accuracy in communication between employees. The result is a reduction of errors and thus the claims which has a positive economic impact on business. Another advantage is providing feedback within business operations. This helps to enhance the quality of production management. You can easily trace the errors and use them to define some precautions in order to prevent these and future errors. The most negative feature in the application of ISO standards is the increase of administration which, after stabilization of standards during normal operation, declined, however is still higher than before the application of these standards. Generally speaking, the application of ISO standards has been beneficial for the company. It should also be noted that not all employees received an increase in administration without problems. Proven results in the production and reduction in the number of defective products speak in favor of applied standards.

Possibilities of providing services of Public Administration using ITIL best practices
Platil, Josef ; Pavlíček, Antonín (advisor)
This thesis aims to answer a question whether it is possible to provide public administration as a service and how can ITIL be used. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part of the thesis the theory of management is broken down, the basic concepts are explained and a brief history of the development of public administration in the Czech Republic to the present as well as briefly introducing the expected developments in the near future. The second part of the thesis explains the ITIL framework as the de facto standard for IT management. This Includes the life cycle services, starting with the requirements of customer service through service strategy, service design, service transition, service operation and the ending stages of continuous service improvement. Third section introduces the concept of PAIL as an analogy to the ITIL methodology. Removing the "IT" from "ITIL" makes an "IL", an infrastructure library of good practice, where we find instructions on how to provide, generally, any form of infrastructure services. The essence of this methodology, it the "IL", featuring the specifics of public administration "PA", thus arises as the methodology "PAIL", a " public administration infrastructure library". The design of PAIL takes into account the differences between public administration and providing IT services, however the two methodologies are based on the same principles of service management. As an example of possible implementation in public administration PAIL shows the applicability of the methodology on the example of a single point of contact for the public administration called the "Public Service Desk".
