Particular attention is given to the political turmoil within two rival blocks: the Zionist Labor movement and the Revisionist movement. The structure of the dissertation reflects the fact that Haim Weizmann, the longserving president of the Zionist Organization, and his then dominant General Zionists were sidelined at the turn of 1920s and 1930s by the two activist trends of Zionist politics that came to dominate Israeli society from that time forward. An impulse for the rise of the opposition movement in Ukraine was connected to the tragedy of Chernobyl, which influenced public and political life in the country. Many ecological and cultural organizations, which occurred right after the Chernobyl tragedy, became the base for the mass Ukrainian opposition movement named Rukh few years after. From the very start it was just the organization which gathered together people with different political views. In a few years Rukh became the strongest political subject in the opposition to the ruling power and gave the foundation for the rise of the new political parties. Despite the fact that the Communist party of Ukraine lost its absolute power and control over society, the sympathy to the left ideology among Ukrainian population still remained strong. Veselá, Dominika ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor) ; Veselá, Jitka (referee)
This thesis deals with the organizational structure of financial supervision in Germany with a view to asses the recently completed institutional integration. The reality of day-to-day supervisory activities is explored in the passage related to problems of financial supervision, where especially the complex question of mutual cooperation between BaFin and Bundesbank In the field of bank supervision comes to light. The supervision-costs analysis focused on the situation prior to integration and mistakenly assumed course after its implementation supplements the general view. Considering all proposed facts the conclusion offers a review of assumptions ensuring a proper supervisory structure.

Minor place-names with the suffix -yně
Štěpán, Pavel
The paper commemorates the work of Jaromír Spal dealing with the suffix -yně in settlement names. The author of the present article analyses the use of this suffix in non-settlement names from the territory of Bohemia and confirms the conclusion of Spal’s that the original function of the suffix -yně was not possessive (in connection with anthroponyms), as the general opinion used to be, but this suffix was primarily used for the formation of non-settlement names from common-noun bases. The aim of the article is to point out the fact that the analysis of non-settlement names can often contribute to the interpretation of settlement names, which can be often modified and replacad by a more probable solution. The starting point for the analysis is formed by Spal’s interpretation of selected place names ending in -yně; parallels of these names among non-settlement names are found and commented on. Also some other non-settlement names derived from both noun and adjective bases are studied. The major conclusion (corresponding to Spal’s findings) is that the suffix -yně was not primarily used for the creation of deanthroponymic possessive names; this use was only analogical (this analogy was based on the contamination with the suffix -ina) and rather limited.
