The Czech election campaigns development analysis: a case of elections in years 1996 and 2006
Antal, Stanislav ; Hartl, Jan (advisor) ; Bureš, Jan (referee)
The main theme of this work is a development of Czech election campaigns. Specifically this work is about election campaigns in years 1996 and 2006. Is the development of Czech election campaigns considerable enough that we could compare them to campaigns in the west countries? One criterion of western campaigns is a concept of a m arketing oriented party. Jenifer Lees-Marshment is an author of this concept. Lees-Marshment defines in contemporary election campaigns three types of political parties: product-oriented party, sales-oriented party and m arket-oriented party. M arket-oriented party (MOP) is different in a way of creating its political platform. The political platform is based on identification of public interests. M arket-oriented party concentrates on satisfying its voters. For this purpose the party is using extensive marketing methods. MOP reacts to its voters preferences and consults them among the whole party. If the strategy is accepted the party creates a final political platform. In 1996 elections we can only find product oriented parties. Political parties were creating their political platforms as a final product without asking voters what their desires were. Although campaigns were organized professionally there were no professional political consultants. Situation was progressively...

Koudelková, Alena ; Lepšíková, Magdaléna (advisor) ; Čech, Zdeněk (referee)
Dissertation "Variability of Somatesthesis in Students of Physiotherapy " deals with somatosensorical system in its theoretical part. In the practical part, sets of tests - aimed at somatesthesis function testing - are described. These tests are easy to implement and could be objectified. This pilot study was performed on a set of 29 Subjects aged 24 - 30. Selection criteria were set to physiotherapy studies and good health condition. The research ran on FN Motol physiotherapy clinics and lasted from October 2007 until January 2008. Measurements were repeated four times (in random day time), while the interval between examinations were randomly selected 1-12 days. The methodical part closely desribes measurement procedures and performance of each test. The first aim of this dissertation was to create a set of examination tests, concentrated on somatesthesis functions, which could be objectively measured. Further we set a target to find out, if sensomotorical learning effect appears by repeated measurement of same Subject and if quality of somatesthesis functions anyhow changes depending on internal environment status. Transakce ve fulltextovém vyhledávacím stroji
Podhorný, Jakub ; Dokulil, Jiří (referee) ; Galamboš, Leo (advisor)
This master thesis covers implementation of a suitable algorithm of transaction processing existing in DBMS environment into the fulltext search engine Egothor. The thesis consists of analysis of functionality of the Egothor system, of the processes being executed during creation and management of the index and analysis of the original source code of the search engine project. Description of the existing algorithms of transaction processing follows along with their evaluation and comparison. Evaluation of the described algorithms is primarily concentrated on the environment of the web search engine Egothor and the most suitable method is chosen for further implementation. As a part of the thesis the chosen algorithm has been fully implemented along with some other project functional requirements. Description of the final implementation closes this master thesis.

In the shadow and background: general Antonín Hasal (1893-1960)
Hubený, David ; Maršálek, Zdenko (referee) ; Kuklík jun., Jan (advisor)
1960), whose activities left a significant vestige both in military and political course of Czechoslovakian public life. The first chapter focuses on his youth, academic education and precocity. He finishes his secondary school education in Rakovnik, from which he moves to Russia shortly before the beginning of the First World War. The chapter focuses on the growth and development of Czechoslovak forces in Russia and studies those military operations in which Hasal participated. One of the fields of interest is also the Civil War in Russia, into which Hasal intervenes already as a commander of 2nd riflemen regiment of Jiřího z Poděbrad. The chapter terminates with the return of Czechoslovakian Legions to Czechoslovakia. The second chapter concentrates on Hasal's career in the first Czechoslovak Republic. The chapter begins with the characterisation of the restless events of December 1920, when the uproar between moderate social democrats together with the state powers and the radical social democrats, later to become communists, begins. Following are the passages dealing with Hasal's career development, an account on his studies on several military universities and the foundation of his family. In the course of 1930s...

A study of the properties of tablets made of granular mannitol.
Tomášková, Eva ; Šnejdrová, Eva (referee) ; Mužíková, Jitka (advisor)
The thesis deals with the study of the properties of tablets from directly compressible mannitol Mannogem® 2080. The focus of the study was the dependence of tensile strength and disintegration time of the tablets on the compression force, the addition of lubricants, namely magnesium stearate and sodium stearyl fumarate ( Pruv ) with concentrations 0,5 and 1%. These properties were also studied in mixtures of Mannogem 2080 with silicified microcrystalline cellulose Prosolv® SMCC 90 in the ratios 1:1 and 3:1 with addition of 0,5% lubricants, and mixtures of model drugs, namely acetylsalicylic acid and ascorbic acid in ratio 1:1 due to dry binders with addition of 0,5% Pruv. The compression forces for mixtures of Mannogem with lubricans were 7,5, 10, 12,5 kN, for mixtures of Mannogem with Prosolv were 5, 7,5, 10 kN and for mixtures of drugs 10 kN. The tensile stength of tablets from Mannogem with addition of lubricants increased with increasing compression force. There was the lowest with 1% addition of magnesium stearate for all the compressible forces. The disintegration time of the tablets was independent on the compression force and was significantly longer with magnesium stearate. The addition of Prosolv SMCC 90 increased strength of tablets, more in the case of mixture of dry binders in ratio...

Huclová, Tereza ; Zimmermann, Volker (advisor) ; Mlsna, Petr (referee)
The thesis "The Importance of the Marshall Plan for the Power Electric Industry in North Rhine Westphalia" deals with the influence of the Marshall Plan on the power supply in this state. It describes the role of the American help in the reconstruction of the most important electric power public utilities. The thesis concentrates on the period 1948-1952 during which the counterpart funds were provided. There were more reasons to choose the state North Rhine Westphalia as a research basis. Most of the German industry was concentrated on this area. Therefore there was the highest consumption of electricity in Germany. On the same time, because of the concentration of many important electrical companies North Rhine Westphalia was the biggest producer of electricity in Germany. Therefore this state was also to provide electricity supplies to other German states. The thesis depicts if the Marshall Plan contributed to the reconstruction of the two chosen companies RWE and VEW. It examines which kinds of project were mostly supported. It also concentrates on the cooperation between the management of the companies, the German institutions and the American administrators of the Marshall Plan. Finally the thesis concludes that because of its size and importance RWE profited more than the smaller company VEW. Powered...
