Selected legal issues of international passenger transport The topic of the diploma thesis is 'selected legal issues of international passenger transport'. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the issues of substantive law related to the liability of carriers and rights of passengers in the international rail, road and air transport. The thesis focuses on applicable legislation of liability of carriers and rights of passengers, but also deals with the legislation proposed pro futuro. The diploma thesis is divided into seven chapters, further divided into subchapters. In the introduction the thesis defines the term 'international passenger transport' and summarises its key legal sources. Further, it addresses the conflict of law rules applicable to the contract on international passenger transport. The core of the thesis is in the following chapters that deal with the direct substantive rules governing the liability of carriers and rights of passengers in individual types of transport, which are contained especially in multilateral international conventions and secondary legislation of the European Union. Formation, incorporation and invalidity of business company

The title of this master thesis is "Formation, incorporation and invalidity of business company". The study is based on the Czech law contained mainly in the Commercial Code. The first part of the thesis describes the entire constitution process of a new business company. The second part focuses on issues related to invalidity of a business company. The Czech Commercial Code distinguishes six forms of business companies - general commercial partnership (unlimited partnership), limited partnership company, limited liability company, joint-stock company, European company and European economic interest grouping. Constitution process of a new business company can be divided into two phases - establishment of a business company and creation of a business company. Each of these phases contains specific issues that are analysed in particular chapters of the study. The thesis is composed of seven chapters. Chapter One provides general characteristics of a business company including its legal regulation. Chapter Two deals with establishment of a business company. The quality of the external audit and the influence of the selection of an auditor on audit quality

The thesis deals with audit quality and auditor selection. These can indeed have a significant effect on audit quality. The introductory chapters of the thesis describe a quality in general form. It offers a basic characteristic of audit and auditor. It is deal with a legislative framework, necessary standards and another regulation of audit quality. Subsequently, it explains control system of audit quality in the Czech Republic and it describes watchdog bodies in the Czech Republic. After that the publication of Federation of European Accountants (FEE) from 2013 is analysed and criteria are presented. These criteria proceed from survey of FEE and determine the auditor selection. In conclusion it deals with application of discovered information on the individual practical examples of application for execution of audit or other audit services. This achieved information is used to create a sample form. This sample form of application for execution of audit could serve to improve of audit quality in the first stage of auditor selection. The ISO standards, book of Audit and the FEE publication are the main information source for the thesis.

Impact of Quality Management and Lean Six Sigma Practical on leanness level of organizations in Czech Republic

The aim of this work is to determine a methodology to measure the leanness level of the organizations that have an internship in the framework of the minor specialization of Quality Management and Lean Six Sigma at University of Economics. The theoretical part of the Thesis presents issues of Lean Six Sigma methodology, describes basic characteristics and main Lean Six Sigma tools. The Thesis also describes process of a research, on which was applied the proposed measurement methodology of an internship impact on organizations. The research methodology describes leanness measurement approach, process of data collection and its subsequent analysis and evaluation. The last chapter includes conclusion of results, suggestions and recommendations to improve Quality Management and Lean Six Sigma Practical.

Strategie kvalifikovaného investora na trhu nemovitostí

Tato práce se zabývá strategií investování do nemovitostí prostřednictvím speciálních fondů kvalifikovaných investorů. Analyzuje ekonomickou podstatu těchto investic a otázky související s jejich výnosností a rizikem. Dále specifikuje organizační uspořádání investičního procesu v zahraničí i v České republice a uvádí hlavní trendy investičního odvětví. V praktické části práce je vytvořena modelová investiční strategie nemovitostního fondu kvalifikovaných investorů, na kterou navazuje kapitola věnovaná vytváření plánu peněžních toků modelového fondu.

Work and Importance of Medical Clowns

This master thesis presents a view of work and impotence of medical clowns in Czech hospital facilities. It unveils the organizational structure and history of the same name company, which sponsors medical clowns in the Czech Republic. It presents all the important parts of complex performance that are essential for medical clowns. Therefore, the clowns are able to visit patients and use their artistic performance to pozitively influence their psychical condition. This leads to patients‘ physical health improvement. The thesis defines „klauniáda“ as a means to reach those goals and presents specific patters of theatrical performace in hospital facilities. It deals with structure of klauniády with use of particular stories, author’s life experience and proffesional researches. It also answers the questions related to the medical clowns‘ contribution.

Economics of Microbrewery

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate economy of chosen Microbrewery XY, Ltd. in observed period 2012 till 2015. Economy of microbrewery is evaluated on the bases of methods of financial analysis and costs calculation per unit of production. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part deals with history of breweries, categorization of microbrewery and its characteristics. Also in this work is described process of beer production and ingredients necessary for its production. This part includes methods and formulas used for financial analysis and costing. Practical part deals with characteristics of microbrewery production. Simple Linear Regression model verifies the seasonality in beer consumption. To accomplish the main aim are used methods of financial analysis and costing. Financial analysis consists horizontal and vertitical analysis, differential and ratio indicators, creditworthy and bankruptcy models evaluating whole financial situation of the microbrewery. In chapter Evaluation of the results and Conclusion are summarized results, an overall evaluation of microbreweries economy and are proposed recommendations for improving its economy.

Analysis of the properties of liquid crystalline materials

Master´s thesis covers introduction to the problems of materials with specific proprieties named liquid crystals. Theoretic part features primary fission these materials, theirs mechanical, electrotechnical and optical characteristics. Interesting chapter is description choice application including perhaps most interesting using liquid crystals - liquid crystal display. In this trend continues experimental part too, where there are first mentioned characteristics LCD, and after it alone metering capacitive characteristics display with active matrix. Main attention in experiment is however concentraded on evaluation frequency analysis of components complex permittivity regarding in plant temperature on submitted sample liquid crystals.

The aim of this study is to analyze the current readiness of Russia to become a member of WTO and to analyze how this membership will impact the russian economy generally.That is why this work set out the following tasks: In the first chapter - to explore the specific activities of the World Trade Organization, to determine its objectives and functions. In the second chapter - to explore the various stages of the Russia's accession to WTO and define the emerging results and complications. In the third chapter, I consider it necessary to examine the current status of Russia in international trade. Some attention will be paid to attitude of Russia's largest trading partners to accession. In the fourth chapter - to explore how Russian accession to the WTO will impact its main sectors and analyze the impact of economic liberalization on the overall economic situation in the country. The shift in media consumption among generations Y and Z

This master thesis deals with the shift in media consumption among generations Y and Z. It is based on both similarity and small differences in media consumption among these generations as a current issue. The aim of this thesis is to focus on both similarity and small differences, to analyse them using the available data and to bring new information obtained by performing an own survey. This new information also can be a help to all stakeholders including employers, marketers etc. This thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part includes three chapters, the practical part includes two chapters. The first chapter presents media theoretically, the second chapter explains how each generation was formed a the third chapter presents a principle of making a questionnaire. The fourth chapter shows some interesting information about media consumption among generations Y and Z and these are verified in the questionnaire in the last chapter.
