Střílková, Dagmar ; Vytlačilová, Jitka (referee) ; Vytlačilová, Jitka (advisor)
Dagmar Střílková, Ecotoxicologial study of the select drug, diploma work Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Botany and Ecology Ibuprofen, the effective substance of drug IBALGIN® 400 mg, belongs to widely used nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs. It is primary used to treat most of the inflammatory illnesses. The renal excreting is the most important way of the final elimination. Ibuprofen can get into surface, ground and drinking water. Because of the interpretation of the result for impact on enviroment, the acute toxicity of this pharmaceutical was evaluated on organism of all the trophic levels. The green alga S capricornutum was chosen like the representative of the procedurs, which is used in 72 hour growth inhibition test ALGALTOXKIT F. Crustacean T platyurus of the series of the consumers was used in 2 next tests. The mortality of the larva of this crustacean is found out by means of 24 hour test THAMNOTOXKIT F. RAPIDTOXKIT evaluates the inhibition of the food receiving by the crustacean. 2 tests were done on the representative of the decomposer, T pyriformis. PROTOXKIT F evaluates the growth inhibition of this ciliate. MTT bioassay is based on the reduction of tetrazolium salt (MTT) by the mitochondrial dehydrogenace of viable cells in formazan....

Complex Scene Rendering on Mobile Devices
Matýšek, Michal ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Kajan, Rudolf (advisor)
This thesis presents optimization techniques for efficient rendering of complex scenes on mobile devices. The introductory part of the text describes Unity game engine and the topic of mobile game development using this tool. Then follows a presentation of important optimization principles and methods for terrain rendering, large scale rendering of animated objects, rendering of animated water surfaces and of other elements in the scenes. The described methods include both general principles of optimization and specific optimization approaches based on the features of Unity game engine. The implementation of presented methods is described and used in practice in the context of mobile strategy game development.

In this thesis, I focus on the specifics of an NGO in the areas of finance, accounting and auditing. And further, I will show these trough the example of the Foundation of Holocaust Victims.

Visual Examination of Posture in Physiotherapy, with Special Focus on Evaluation ofStrain Test Phases
Biskup, Šimon ; Šafářová, Marcela (referee) ; Pelc, Tomáš (advisor)
The examination of the function of body posture is one of the basic examinations of musculoskeletal system. Clinically, the initial examination is visual and summarized by a description. A number of other evaluation methods have been developed to allow for more objective assessment. These methods of examination can be divided into the following categories based on their approach: somatoscopic, somatometric and somatographic. Most of these methods, however, only evaluate posture based on the standing position and their evaluation criteria can be problematic and disputable. The goal of the practical part of our work was to study the possibility of evaluating posture using a newly emerging method: "Stress posture testing" (SPT), which has a very different approach than the usual methods. This method was developed at the Department of Rehabilitation and Sport Medicine of the Teaching Hospital in Motol as part of the long-term research project, which focused on late consequences of the Wilms kidney tumor treatment. SPT evaluates posture based on monitoring asymmetries in postural strategies aligning themselves with the selected more demanding postures; these are documented by a photo camera. We studied the ability of both one and several evaluators to consistently visually evaluate the same subjects using SPT...

Computer-aided Teaching of Spherical Geometry
Bémová, Kristýna ; Voráčová, Šárka (referee) ; Surynek, Pavel (advisor)
Basically we distinguish two types of geometry: Euclidean and Non-Euclidean. Everyone meets Euclidean geometry at basic school, but hardly ever a student hear about Non-Euclidean geometry. In this thesis, we are dealing with spherical geometry, which is a special part of Non-Euclidean geometry. We introduce basic concepts of spherical geometry in the thesis. A more detailed description is devoted to spherical trigonometry, which studies characteristics of spherical triangle and solves the corresponding problems. We also discuss differences between Euclidean and Non-Euclidean geometry. As a part of the thesis we developed an educational software for drawing on the spherical surface. The software is intended as an educational instrument for teaching spherical geometry. The program allows a student to draw shapes like a point, an abscissa, a circle and triangle. Further, the student can measure a length or an angle, which characterizes the differences between Euclidean and Non-Euclidean geometry in the best way. Our educational program improves user's stereometric imagination since the drawn shapes can be displayed from different visual angles.

The contemporary view of muscle dysbalances of the upper-crossed-syndrome type
Tetřevová, Eva ; Babková, Lenka (referee) ; Smolíková, Libuše (advisor)
The thesis "Contemporary perspective on muscle imbalance of upper -crossed syndrom "deals with its etiology, then with kinesiological content and therapy principles in its background research. This problem is approached from the Czech and world point of view. The clinical experiment compares muscle activity with tendency to hyperreactivity linked to this type of imbalance in the group of patients suffering from respiratory disorders to control group of healthy probands. Sitting position, stand and stand with shoulder flexion are examined kinetic sequences whose selection was the result of their numerous representation in everyday life. Muscle imbalance of upper-crossed syndrom is present and chronically fixed in patients. Surface electromyography /sEMG/ is used as an objectivization method. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Methods of investigation of murders (selected issues)

Pseudo-coordination in the syntax of contemporary Czech
Škodová, Svatava ; Uličný, Oldřich (advisor) ; Hirschová, Milada (referee) ; Zikánová, Šárka (referee)
The purpose of this thesis is to address the diversity of coordinative constructions, illustrating their properties, and to pro vide a forma 1 account for them in the frame of the theoretical background of the dependency syntax. This thesis namely investigates three construction types in the syntax of contemporary Czech, aH ofwhich have in common a binary coordinative structure, using the Czech coordinator a (and), where two verbs are coordinated. These constructions are referred to as prototypical coordination (ProKoor), pseudo-coordination (PseKoor) and reduplicative coordination (ReKoor). The main claim is that even though these three types share the same surface structure (go )VlandV2 or Vl andVl, they do not represent the same phenomenon of coordination and it is necessary to divide them into three types, as proposed. I have proposed a two-part analysis. Firstly, PseKoor is analysed as a complex predicate formed on the level of syntax. This analysis immediately accounts for a number of properties of PseKoor which allows the comparison with ProKoor. Secondly, PseKoor is analysed as means of aktionsart, resp. as a variety coordination over substages of events. This also accounts for a number of characteristics of PseKoor, this time on the level of semantics. ln this way I also present criteria for...
