Dynamic analysis of oscillations with multiple degrees of freedom
Schulmeister, Jiří ; Houfek, Lubomír (referee) ; Březina, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with analysis of oscillating with multiple degrees of freedom and with example of dynamic behavior of system with two degrees of freedom with different input signals for purposes of dynamic lessons. Conventional method of making equations of motion by Lagrange’s method and their consecutive analysis is inscribed in the work. As example of system with two degrees of freedom is chosen quarter car model. Responses to different input signals are shown for the model. It is made in MATLAB/SIMULINK.

Active Vibration Damping/Chatter Control of Machine Tool Spindle Units
Škúci, Michal ; Blecha, Petr (referee) ; Březina, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes the issue about machining, causes of spindle chatter and different ways of chatter damping. It evaluates advantages and disadvantages of different ways of damping. There was made and described simple simulation model on which searching simulations was made for purpose of receiving picture of behaviour of model for different parameters. Model of active damping was made too.

Modelica Models use in Matlab-Simulink Environment
Glos, Jan
Acausal modeling is one of the approaches to construct a dynamic model of physical system. This approach is used by Modelica language and provides some advantages compared to causal modeling. Functional Mock-up Interface defines a standard way for exchange or co-simulation of dynamic models and is supported by most of Modelica oriented modeling tools. Matlab-Simulink is not able to use Modelica models nor to import Functional Mock-up Units. This paper describes FMUtoolbox for Matlab-Simulink, which allows simulation of Functional Mockup Units in Matlab-Simulink environment. It provides Simulink block, graphical and command-line user interface and other features

Control of Parallel Active Filter by Using dSpace 1103A
Paclt, Zdeněk ; Šimek, Petr ; Valouch, Viktor
This work shows that nonlinear control technique of a shunt active filter is well suited to compensate for characteristic current harmonics that are generated by nonlinear loads. The proposed control is based on two inner current loops and an outer dc bus voltage regulator loop. There is no interaction between inner and outer loops in addition to good performance in both steady-state and transient operation. Active filters represent a modern and effective resource for suppresing interfering phenomena in the electrical supply.

Extension for Xilinx System Generator - logarithmic arithmetic blockset
Líčko, Miroslav ; Métais, B. ; Tichý, Milan ; Matoušek, Rudolf
The paper introduces support of floating point(FP) data format for the Xilinx System Generator (XSG) using logarithmic arithmetic. This type of arithmetic seems to be one of the promising ways to solve FP sort of DSP problems in practice. Our 32-bit high-speed logarithmic arithmetic (HSLA) keeps the accuracy according to IEEE 754 and speed up some kinds of FP algorithms. Promising is 19-bit equivalent utilised int this paper. It offers reasonable precision for the practical use and has min.HW requirements.
