A Nurse Researcher {--} Ideal versus Reality
ŠEDÁ, Eva
A Nurse Researcher {--} Ideal versus Reality The subject of my bachelor{\crq}s thesis was to find out what the real position of a nurse researcher is and to compare it with the ideal conditions for research in nursing. This work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part includes the history of the research in nursing, recent research and the education of nurses. It focuses on how to conduct the research in nursing, and the application of its results into practice. The practical part is divided into chapters which describe: the goal of this work, hypothesis, methodology of data collection, the characteristic of researching set. The following chapter contains graphs responding to the results of the research. These results are then analyzed, compared and evaluated. This thesis has determined 5 main goals. The main goal is to trace the opinion of nurses on the research in nursing and their active research at their own work. Next goal is to find out if the nurses study the results of the research in nursing and if they use the results of this research at their own work. The last goal is to learn the reasons why the nurses do not use the results of the research in practice. All the goals were fulfilled. The work compares the opinion of the Czech and Austrian nurses. There were determined 5 hypotheses in the thesis. The first one - that the nurses don{\crq}t take into consideration the research of other nurses - was not confirmed. The second one - that the nurses do not implement the research in nursing at their work - was confirmed. The third one - that the nurses do not monitor actively the results of research in nursing - was confirmed. The fourth one - that the nurses do not use the results of research in nursing in practice - was confirmed only by Czech nurses; the Austrian nurses disprove this hypothesis. The fifth one - that the reason of not using actively the results of the research in nursing is its low effectiveness - was confirmed only by Austrian nurses. On the other hand, Czech nurses find the problem in unfavourable working conditions. This research revealed only minimal difference between Austrian and Czech nurses. This is the reason why the hypothesis that Czech nurses approach better to the research in nursing was not confirmed. The results of this work will be used to better understanding the role of a nurse doing research. As a result of this research, the nurses need to have better awareness of the research in nursing and its necessity in practice. It is also important to create new possibilities of how to introduce the research in nursing into the practice. This essential process should be administered by a nurse manageress.

The topic: Identification of the important tactical problems in the action game - set plays. The target of the work: According to the analysis of the set plays in football European Championship in 2012 we had to determine characteristical points and measure of frequency of the set plays that lead up to overcome the rival defense and then end the scoring or endanger the rival goal. There were created typologies and applications . The method: The research was created by the method of the indirect structured observation on DVD. Therefore it is both qualitative and quantitative research. The results were written down in graphs. The results: The results of this work present the succesfull ways of set plays, the frequency of these ways and the most important factors of their succesfull using. These results suggest possible future trends of the set plays. Key words: Set plays, analysis, football

Title of bachelor's thesis: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of syringomyelia Objectives: Gain of theoretical knowledge about the diagnosis of syringomyelia and subsequent case study formulation of a patient with this diagnosis during continuous work placement. Methods: The first part of the bachelor thesis contains theoretical knowledge about the diagnosis of syringomyelia, focused on its definition, classificaton, epidemiology, etiopatogenesis, diagnostics, symptomatology, therapy, physiotherapy treatment and prognosis. The second part includes a complete case study of my physiotherapeutic treatment of selected patient with the diagnosis of syringomyelia. 6 ABSTRACT Title: Analysis of handball coaches' activities in selected area. Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to determine wether the activities of coaches in handball teams, divisions under the Regional North-Moravian Handball Association (OSSH), are in accordance with the recommendations issued by the Czech Handball Federation (CSH). Methods: For the entire research project was chosen the epirically analytical method. With respect to the geografically large area, we considered interrogation method which can be used to collect both quantitative and qualitative research data. All collected data were summarized by entering inno tables and graphs. In the verification of hypotheses the data was evaluated by using basic statistical methods, the arithmetic mean, absolute frequency and relative frequency. Results: The thesis was intended to result in recommendation for coaches' education and development in the mentioned region. With reference to the research results in this thesis the recommendation will not related to impetus for only participation in the trainings. As we found out, the passing of the education and training activities themselves is not a problem. The recommendation will be predominantly related to the change of approach. It is necessary to transform the passive approach into the active one...

Lepidopteran fauna of the Hořovice region and its using in pedagogical practise
Veverka, Jan ; Hanel, Lubomír (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (referee)
Results of a survey of the lepidopteran fauna of the Hořovice region (Beroun District, Central Bohemia) carried out in the years 1982-2009 are presented. 49 localities were explored altogether, emphasis was given on the cadastre of Hořovice town (grid mapping code 6149) and Kleštěnice village (grid mapping code 6249). Most of the studied area is strongly influenced by industrial and agricultural use; large forests of the Křivoklátsko area and the Brdy highlands reach only marginally there. The three main goals of the rigorous theses are as follows: 1) to map distribution of all species of butterflies and moths of group so-called Macrolepidoptera (Lepidoptera: Macrolepidoptera) that belong to the fauna of the Hořovice region; 2) site class assessment on the basis of results of a survey of the lepidopteran fauna; 3) Lepidoptera in the pedagogical process. Altogether, 493 species in 16 families of Macrolepidoptera have been found (41% of the macrolepidopteran fauna of the Czech Republic). Relativelly most species have been recorded in the families Drepanidae, Sphingidae, Lasiocampidae and Notodontidae. Rare and otherwise remarkable species are commented.

The final aim of my study is to create marketing mix for selling luxury eyeglasses. This study is worked out in conditions of the company named Optik Otava which does not use professional marketing strategic planning. First of all the optical profession is presented and the optical market is analyzed. In the second part, there is prepared a theoretical base for marketing mix creation. Marketing mix is just one part of marketing strategic planning, therefore I also have to speak of particular methods used for situation analysis processing, the marketing aims, marketing strategies and segmentation of the market. Then the detailed elaboration of fundamental parts in marketing mix (product, price, place and promotion) is realized. The last part is the case study. There is description of the company which is mentioned above, as well as, there is created the structure of its marketing mix. The value of nonprofessional marketing mix is not low. Despite of this fact there are suggested proposals and recommendations at the end, which could positively affect marketing mix of that company. The most important one relevant to the place proposes to establish the own wholesale. This would affect also the price and the product. The whole study should be valuable for the company. It should help its to develop the marketing...
