Boolean algebras and first order theories.
Cepák, Jiří ; Pajas, Petr (referee) ; Mlček, Josef (advisor)
We will study Lindenbaum algebras and algebras of definable subsets of selected first order theories: constants theory for a, Presburger, Robinson, Peano and standard arithmetic, successor theory, successor theory with zero, theory of dense linear orders without endpoints, theory of discrete linear orders, random graph theory and theory of algebraically closed fields. For finite algebras we will determine their cardinality, for countable algebras we will determine whether they are atomic or atomless and for some of them we will carry out classification up to isomorphism using algebras FA, ASA and CA. For this purpose we will prove several general theorems.

Monitoring of antropometric characteristics in 7-year children. Relation to family and school environment . WHO project: Monitoring of childhood obesity.
Guttenbergerová, Tereza ; Kunešová, Marie (advisor) ; Pařízková, Jana (referee)
The topic of this diploma thesis is based on European study: Childhood Obesity Surveillance Initiative (COSI). It is WHO Europe project. In the Czech Republic is this project lead by Institute of Endocrinology. The goal of this work is to determine childhood obesity prevalence and to monitor prevalence in relation to family and school environment. Obesity in children is an important health problem, accelerating throughout the world with particularly alarming trends in Europe. It causes a wide range of serious health and social consequences and increases the likelihood of morbidity in children and adults such as dyslipidaemia, hyperinsulimia, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, early atherosclerosis etc. Obesity is also strongly associated with orthopaedic problems and mental disorders, therefore, it is very important to monitor obesity prevalence in childhood. The goal of the work is to determine the prevalence of overweight and obesity in 7-year children in the year 2010 (WHO classification and classification method of Czech republic). Another goal is to find a relation of the anthropometric data to environmental factors - identified by parents of children and representatives of schools (socioeconomic characteristics, eating habits, physical activities etc.). In this diploma thesis were measured 2594...

Methods of drama and their use with young school age children
RANFTLOVÁ, Tereza
The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part characterizes the young school age children, the physical and emotional development which are connected. It deals with the drama in education, classification of its methods and shows other methods of drama in education. It introduces the concept of a lesson, its planning and organization. It describes these concepts: art lesson, developing intellect or process of thinking in the fine arts field, developing the potential of young school age children´s creative expression. This thesis defines the color in the art lesson, specifies the primary colors and describes how to work with color. It defines the koncept of health, physical aktivity, drinking habits, social health, mental hygiene and ecology. This part of thesis is based on a professional literature and deals with theoretical knowledge about this problem. The practical part is focused on the project which uses the methods of drama education and outreachs to health education practiced by children of primary school age. Its main task is to create an interest in spontaneous physical activity of children, to encourage their imagination and the enthusiasm for gaming activity and to motivate them to another individual or collective activities at school or in the countryside. It creates a space for the exercise of empathy in the group and for the development of creativity, communication and self-expression of children.

The Modeling of selected processes in the Prague 4 City District Office
Gerlický, Filip ; Říhová, Zora (advisor) ; Novák, Miloslav (referee)
This work consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part provides an introduction to the problems of public administration and local government in particular. It deals with municipalities, their legislation (Act on Municipalities and the City of Prague), types, responsibilities, authorities and the difference between self-dependent and devolved matters. It puts municipality into the context of eGovernment, presents two types of classification of eGovernment and highlights the specifics of administrative duties to which belongs also an electronic identity card (eOP) issue. It deals with a history and a purpose of the identity cards and with requirements they are connected to. A large part discusses the eOP, its differences from previous types, functionality, advantages and disadvantages that it brings, and its safety. It describes the procedures and the requirements for its issuance, proposes some improvements and looks into its future. It doesn't forget to evaluate the project of the eOP. It briefly mentions the process modeling. In the practical part is created a new classification of the services of eGovernement and outlines probably the first complex methodology for such classification. In here there is developed an extensive detailed process model describing the issuance of the eOPs in the Prague 4 City District office, measured this service and evaluated its effectiveness. Then survey focused on citizens' views on electronic identity cards and on the procedure of their issuance is processed.

The analysis of leases according to IFRS
Martiník, Karel ; Krupová, Lenka (advisor) ; Müllerová, Libuše (referee) ; Doležal, Jan (referee)
A lease is used by many companies as an instrument of external financing by which their investing and operational needs are financed. The lease itself is divided under the existing accounting standard IAS 17 Leases - into two parts -- the finance and the operating. The different classification of the lease can be used - position of a lessee and the position of a lessor. The problem in the case of the lessee is that the division into the finance and the operating lease is very sophisticated and also enables the opportunity of the creative accountancy. The reason is that some companies instead of the finance lease recognise the operating lease and conversely. This fact results in a fact that the financial statements are not comparable and users cannot rely on them. This thesis analyses these problems and it is looking for the solutions for the lessees and the lessors.

Cost and break-even analysis of bored tunnel of Metrostav a.s.
Hadravová, Marcela ; Klečka, Jiří (advisor) ; Uhlíř, Jan (referee)
The bachelor thesis discusses cost analysis, cost functions, revenues and profit, the break-even analysis and related decision problems. The topic of this study is important to every manufacturing company. The general theoretical basis subsequently tend to concrete problem-solving, including calculations, graphic representations and verbal explanations. The theoretical part of this work presents potential approaches to the description of basic economic values and examines correlations of these values. Problems described in theoretical part are applicated on a project currently executed by public limited company Metrostav, it is a tunnel construction known as ,,Construction 0079 Špejchar -- Pelc -- Tyrolka -- bored tunnels". There have to be made some important decisions about the basic time, technological and other variables before calculations. Determination of variable and fixed costs is based on the Classificational Analysis, necessary information about costs are included in cost calculations. Revenues are calculated from the investment budget for the tunnel project. Break -- even point is calculated for the three geological categories of rock, which differ with dificulties of boring. The thesis is focused also on various types of decision problems such as number of running metres, that is necessary to bore to achieve required profitability or determination of profit and profitability achieved by the target monthly performance in particular geological boring categories. The calculated outputs are summarized and compared, the conclusions and recommendations for a further use of the outputs in the whole process of tunnel boring are described. The procedures used for the calculation of the break--even point and making decisions about related problems can be generalised and used in similar tunnel projects, or more precisely in all line construction projects carried out by the Metrostav.

The final thesis deals with lease and it's accounting and reporting treatment according to the International Financial Accounting Standards compared to the adjustment applicable in Czech republic. The first part is devoted to the basic characteristic of lease, it's division and historical development, especially in Czech republic. Second part aims the accounting treatment of lease under the czech accounting laws and also prescribes the tax consequences of lease. Third part of the thesis deals with the IFRS adjustment of lease, concretely with IAS 17 Leases. It targets the classification of leases, the accounting and reporting treatment for the lessor and the lessee as well and also the convergence project of IFRS and US GAAP related to leases. The work is completed with the practical application of the introduced observation on a real lease contract under the czech regulation and under IFRS.

Software for Bidirectional Sequence Classification
Katuščák, Slavomír ; Raab, Jan (advisor) ; Spoustová, Johanka (referee)
The goal of this master thesis was to implement algorithm for bidirectional classifi cation of sequences described in article of Libin Shen and col. This work builds on implementation and experimental project Mor ce, morphological tagger based on hidden Markov model with averaged perceptron and on Jan Raab's master thesis, which goal was to implement Viterbi's algorithm and nd best possible set of features for it. This work o ers Shen's algorithm as alternative to Viterbi's algorithm. Limitation of Viterbi's algorithm is in its one-way direction, selection of tag on some position can depend on some already done decisions, but only on preceeding positions. This can cause selection of suboptimal candidate and regression of analyser accuracy. This work implements algorithm, that works bidirectionally and can use already done decisions from both sides of current position, keeping tolerable complexity.
