Modelling of Cell Colony Dynamics
Bělehrádek, Stanislav ; Škutková, Helena (referee) ; Sedlář, Karel (advisor)
The content of the thesis is a description of intracellular processes responsible for cell cycle regulation and reactions of cells to external and internal stimuli. Thoroughly described are important signaling pathways with appropriate methods, which can be used to simulate them in silico. From these cellular processes, a cell cycle model is created and implemented in a tool programmed in C ++ with OpenGL used for visualization. The model is then tested for various cell processes including HeLa cells growth. Finally, the results are compared with the behavior of living cells.

Models of public transport in the GIS environment
Loukotka, Tomáš ; Grill, Stanislav (advisor) ; Brůha, Lukáš (referee)
Models of Public Mass Transportation in GIS Environment Abstract The thesis tries to describe and categorize models of public mass transportation. A new model is built upon these models and based on authors' thoughts. This model is constructed to work with headways only instead of timetables. Therefore one cannot precisely estimate the passengers' behaviour. The model works also with street network aside from public transportation lines. An application is built upon these model and allows network editing and processing of shortest-path analysis and accessibility analysis. Technologies used: ExtJS, OpenLayers, CGI, Shapely, STORM, PostgreSQL. This application is then used for building a public transportation network of Prague 6 region and for performing analysis upon this network.
Procedurální generování měst
Beneš, Jan ; Wilkie, Alexander (advisor) ; Křivánek, Jaroslav (referee)
This thesis proposes a novel method for procedural generation of urban street networks. A simple traffic simulation, based on observations made about the social-geographic nature of cities, that is able to drive the temporal evolution of city road networks by creating new major roads, as well as a modified generation algorithm for minor roads, are described. The presented method is highly automated.

The development of urban processes, spatial structures of the city and impacts of urbanization and suburbanization are evaluated. Second chapter describes identification, analysis and quantification of suburbanization in Olomouc suburban space. The main result is Toolbox "Suburban Analyst" in ArcGIS software that use multi- criteria evaluation method and allows identifying and quantifying suburbanization in municipalities' level. Third part analyses the readiness of municipalities and cadastral areas for suburbanization. The final values of readiness represent...
Numerical model of NATM tunnel in stiff clays
Svoboda, Tomáš ; Mašín, David (advisor) ; Hilar, Matouš (referee) ; Barták, Jiří (referee)
Disertační práce představuje aplikaci hypoplastického konstitučního modelu při realizaci NRTM tunelu v prostředí městské zástavby s cílem obdržet "class A" predikce chování zeminového masivu. Tunely Královo Pole tvoří hlavní konstrukci severní části Velkého městského okruhu v Brně. Tunely o šířce 14 m a výšce 12 m jsou raženy v prostředí tuhých brněnských jílů s výškou nadloží v rozmezí 6 až 21 metrů. Materiálové parametry hypoplastického modelu kalibrované na výsledky laboratorních experimentů byly optimalizovány využitím dat geotechnického monitoringu a následně použity při simulacích tunelu. Po průchodu ražby profilu tunelu zvoleným úsekem staničení došlo k vyhodnocení prediktivních schopností a vhodnosti konstitučního modelu. Druhým konstitučním modelem použitým při simulacích průzkumné štoly a plain strain analýze tunelu je Mohr - Coulombův model. Metoda redukce napětí využitá v procesu optimalizace parametrů byla vyhodnocena formou porovnání s 3D simulacemi. K vyhodnocení posloužily simulace třech skutečných podzemních konstrukcí s nízkým nadložím realizovaných v prostředí tuhých jílů. Abstract The thesis demonstrates the application of a hypoplastic model in class A predictions of a NATM tunnel in an urban environment. The Kralovo Pole tunnel is a main construction of a northern part of a...
