Modelling and simulation of communication system receiver for unmanned aircraft
Hoferek, Jakub ; Prokeš, Aleš (referee) ; Maršálek, Roman (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the simulation of the radio communication system for satellite control of unmanned aircraft, namely the command and control communication link – the forward link. The aim of the thesis is to create a simulator in the Matlab environment. The simulator includes a model of the transmitter, radio channel and receiver. Four-state CPM modulation with partial response and filtered symbol shape is used. The radio channel performs noise, frequency Doppler shift and time delay to the received signal. Subsequently, in the Acquisition Unit, the Doppler shift and time delay are detected and compensated. At the end of the thesis, the simulation results of the presented model are presented in the form of graphs đť¸s/đť‘0.
Wireless sound transfer
Jeřábek, Vojtěch ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals mainly with the possibilities of using the module nRF24L01+ for the wireless sound transfer, with as low latency, good reliability and sound quality as possible. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the description of the device and its internal structure for wireless sound transfer, even in the case of transferring multichannel sound. The thesis also describes the sound digitalization process and its requirements for the final quality. The second part of this thesis is focused on the description of the wireless module nRF24L01+, including analyzing its internal structure and the way it works. A comparison to other wireless modules that are available on the market, including its advantages and disadvantages, is also provided. The third part of the thesis is devoted to the design of the described system for an electric guitar.
Using radio-orientering principles for mobile robot localization
Maixner, Jiří ; Povalač, Aleš (referee) ; Chromý, Adam (advisor)
Localization of a mobile robot is one of the most important areas of basic support for the operation and navigation of robots in space. This work deals with robot localization based on the principle of radio-orienteering. There is also described the production of transmitter and SDR receiver, which can be used for localization.
FITkit as a Remote Controller Transceiver
Růžek, Michal ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is about communication protocols used in infrared remote controls of consumer electronics. It describes widely used protocols such as RC5, NEC and SIRC, their properities and methods of decoding. Transceivers are realized via components inside FITkit's FPGA chip, using simple HW module. Demo application written in C language is also included.
Secure PC Connection
Winter, Jan ; Škarvada, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kubek, Ján (advisor)
Aim of this master's thesis is the creation of serial communication interface for FITkit. This serial interface is a full duplex industrial bus based on 20mA loop circuit and it should allow connection of two FITkits by RS-485. Aim of this paper is to design simple software allowing communication of two FITkits and to secure this communication on RS-485 link against interference or transfer errors.
Accuracy assesment of underground spaces electromagnetic localization method
Skulina, Radim ; Machotka, Radovan (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this diploma work is accuracy assesment of underground spaces electromagnetic localization method and comparison with results made by Ing. Matin Šklíba in 2006. Existing Purpose-built geodetic control Býčí skála and previous measuring for past 15 years was used for accuracy assessment.
Transmitter of PD MIDI messages
Čepl, Josef ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Káňa, Ladislav (advisor)
The bachelors thesis consider in problems of MIDI communication in musical industry with a view to control external sound module assist in user-simply equipment. For the realisation were chosen facilities such as microprocessor, keyboard and LCD display. Product will extend possibilities of usage musical instruments which, except playing, doesn’t dispose the ability to control external MIDI compatible modules. The transmitter will involve to MIDI system from between instrument and possible reflected end use device. Software will specialize on programming language C, which is one of the most wide-spread. There is development environment freeware WinAVR which supports even C language. Technology of AVR programmers will allow implementation of the program to microcontroler. The first part of thesis is analyse of MIDI interface used in commercial reachable musical systems from specification of the interface to types of messages. The second part contains of detail solution with aspect on it’s practical use to potentional user. The conclusion sumarizes of work and possible other updates and actualizations of manufacture.
Modelling the movement of mobile stations in the OPNET Modeler simulation environment
Kuběna, Pavel ; Nagy, Ľuboš (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The main topic of this master´s thesis is a practical simulation of wireless mobile networks. For this purpose, the model simulating urban enviroment in which mobile nodes move according to desgined trajectories was created. The parameters of transmitted signal and impact of obstacles in the way of propagation were examined by the simulation. Number of obstacles and type of material of given obstacle was taken into consideration.
Low-range high-speed optical transceiver
Pučálka, Jan ; Tošovský, Petr (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with description and design of a low-cost free-space optical (FSO) link. First, general FSO theory is discussed including their common parameters, properties and topologies. Further, optical signal sources and detectors are proposed. Finally, the selected implementation is described including its design and realization. The proposed FSO consists of two identical segments (modules) to form a full-duplex link. The FSO utilizes LED as a light source, maximum speed data rate is 100 Mb/s with 100Base-TX interface.
DRM signal transmitter
Paták, Pavel ; Šebesta, Jan (referee) ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with design and practical realisation of electronic circuits, which are needed for assembling of DRM signal transmitter for ham short waves bands. There is presented DRM standard as well as there are described the differencies between DRM for radio broadcast and for ham using. There is described design of input audio circuits, modulator, mixer, local generator, amplifier and filters. Principle of used SSB modulator is based on phase method, often called Tayloe modulator. This principle is analysed in detail including mathematical description, which was derived. It is possible to control the transmitter by program running at computer, communication takes place via USB. There is described establishment of communication in this work too.
