Creation of 3D model of building

This bachelor´s thesis deals with surveying buildings in campus of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Technical University in Brno and consequential 3D model elaboration in graphic program SketchUp. The result is generalised spatial model of the B and C buildings FAST VUT. The emphasis was the aesthetics and symmetry not measurement exactness.

The influence of computer games on aggressiveness

This Bachelor Thesis deals with study of influence of computer games on aggression. The aim of this thesis is to find out whether computer games cause inclination to aggressive behaviour. The theoretical part is focused on scanning electrical brain activity. It contains description of electroencephalography, evoked potentials and brain waves. It also elaborates various psychological theories of aggression and connects them to relation with physiologist creation of aggressive behaviour. The empirical part is focused on a research project. It describes an experiment which examines reactions to positive, neutral and negative visual stimuli before and after playing computer games by spectral analysis. 42 people, chosen by quota selection, participated in the research. 29 probands got into the final analysis and outcomes. The data were processed by Matlab program and its toolbox EEGlab. The outcomes of spectral analysis and comparison of individual research groups show that violent computer games influence aggression.

Methodology of optimal usage of load balancing in data center environment

The following master thesis is focused on creation of methodology for optimal usage of load balancing in data center environment. Thesis is divided into eight chapters. The first chapter describes the reasons why to deal with this topic further. The second chapter summarizes the state of load balancing. This chapter is based on research of already elaborated thesis which were focused on load balancing in different ways. The third chapter summarizes load balancing including its key principles. The fourth chapter describes an actual state of load balancing in data center environment. An observation of real usage of load balancing in selected data center was used for the main purpose of this chapter. The fifth chapter consists of analysis of the currently existing methodologies which are used from the infrastructure projects purpose. The sixth chapter deals with creation of methodology for optimal usage of load balancing in data center. The seventh chapter evaluates usage of methodology by applying of this methodology to real practical example of implementation of load balancing. The eighth chapter summarizes all detected conclusions.

Bachelor thesis deals with a group of botanical park and species roses, their use in garden and landscape creation. The literary section compares the various literary sources, a brief summary of the history, distribution, claims and morphological characters important in garden and landscape creation, a summary of certain domestic or otherwise interesting species from the processed group. The work is mainly focused on the uses and importance of landscaping. Part of this work is to evaluate selected taxa in the field survey, a table with the results and photos of selected morphological characters and phenological manifestations. In the practical part of the evaluated individuals from different locations on the basis of the methodology elaborated. It also includes a brief overview rose nurseries in the country.

Diminutives in Spanish Children´s Literature

The goal of my diploma thesis is the detail analysis of the usage of diminutives in the Spanish literature, including the characteristics of their meaning and function. The theoretical part of my thesis is consisted of the basic information concerning this morphological phenomenon and its creation, function and interpretation in the text. It also includes definition of the children´s literature and various views on this subcategory of literature. There is mentioned the history of the children´s literature too, together with its evolution and literary performance. I pay special attention to linguistic features which appear in the children´s literature. The practical part is consisted of the qualitative and quantitative analysis of three books for children: Manolito on the Road, El príncipe que todo lo aprendió en los libros and El Conde Lucanor.The goal of this part of my thesis is the comparison of several linguistic approaches towards this morphological phenomenon. I also aim to determine eventual difference in frequency of using of different types of diminutive suffix, both from the diachronical and differential point of view. Last but not least, there is a qualitative analysis which elaborates individual contextual functions of diminutive suffix.

To the roots - set of engravings (free technic photogravures on the theme man´s relation to the nature)

This thesis contains practical part and accompanying theoretical part. The practical part contains ten final sketches and ten engravings, elaborated with drypoint technique, using dichroic combination. This cycle of engravings is named {\clqq}To the roots``. The names of engravings are: {\clqq}Symbiosis``, {\clqq}Departure``, {\clqq}Barriers``, {\clqq}Disaffection``, {\clqq}Devastation 1``, {\clqq}Devastation 2``, {\clqq}Devastation 3``, {\clqq}Payback``, {\clqq}Lost values``, {\clqq}Apocalypsa``. The accompanying theoretical part is composed of four chapters. The first chapter contains my reflection of relation of man to nature. In second chapter I adduce examples of graphical art trends, or authors, who are by their approach adherent to the subject of man to nature relationship. In the third chapter I try to introduce my personal approaches and ideas that led to creation of practical part of the thesis. In last chapter I am concerned with the possibility of introduction of {\clqq}man to nature relationship`` issue to the educational process on Basic art schools.

The conception of geography fieldwork on example of České Budějovice and its surroundings

This thesis deals with the problem of geography fieldwork at Czech schools. Its main aim is to suggest a concept of fieldwork for secondary schools in České Budějovice, which could also be used for other schools. The thesis consists of three parts. In the first one, which is focused on theory, basic terms are defined according to the analysis of literature. Aims of education as well as benefits, problems and aims related to geography fieldwork and its concept in current education documents are also discussed there. In the second part, principles of the creation of tasks for fieldwork in České Budějovice with its surroundings and appropriate methods of their evaluation are specified. On the basis of geographical characteristics of the region, appropriate aims of education and localities are chosen for the geographical topics taught at schools. Strategic Analysis of Jihlava Radio

Annotation The diploma thesis deals with the strategic analysis of Radio Jihlava. The aim of the thesis was to find out the contemporary situation of the firm and to suggest another strategy to it, which would be more successful in the competitors fight. The theoretical part is concentrated on explication of basic concepts from the strategic management field, explication of the concepts of strategy and strategic management, description of strategic analysis methods. This part is essential for elaboration of the practical part referring to the explained concepts and analyses. The described analyses are solved in the practical part. The analyses results should be the basic for a change or creation of a new company strategy. The conclusion of the diploma thesis generally evaluates the cotemporary company strategy and suggests a strategy change.

The Depicture of the Middle Ages in the Prokop Chocholoušek's Work

The bachelor's essay deals with the historical proses of Prokop Chocholoušek with emphasis on those of the Czech middle ages. The goal has been to find and elaborate on characteristics of the authors work and establish his place in the Czech romantic prose context. The results are posted in several chapters. The essay consists of brief biography of P. Chocholoušek, outline of changes in historical prose during the National Revival and comparison of Prokop Chocholoušek with other historical prose writers. Furthermore, it contains summary of selected texts, analysis of the character-creation patterns, ways of space-time depiction, and patriotism and educational tendencies featured in the work.

European Policy Concerning Safety of Foods

The theme of the bachelor thesis is the European policy concerning safety of foods. Its objective is to evaluate the importance of the food safety assurance for the European market and European consumers. The first part briefly summarizes the most important moments of history {--} from food sufficiency assurance for everyone to creation of elaborate system named {\clqq}from the Farm to the Fork`` which includes whole food and feed chain. This part also defines essential notions associated with given theme. Next parts involve food legislation and establishements which create legal enactments and control if these enactments are respected. The last section deals with the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed and the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Both of these systems are fundamental for assuring the consumers safety. The thesis faciliates to create the idea of current system complexity for food safety assurance.
