Fractal dimension and its estimation
Jajcay, Nikola ; Raidl, Aleš (advisor) ; Mikšovský, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor's thesis topic is fractal dimension and its estimations. First chapter is dedicated to brief history of fractal geometry and its basic ideas. In second chapter I was developing basic ideas of deterministic chaos and its applications on two different dynamic systems: logistic map and Lorenz's model of convection in atmosphere. Third chapter is dedicated to quantifiers of chaos, such as dynamic quantifiers, Lyapunov exponents and entropy, and geometric quantifiers, which means several fractal dimensions. I defined different types of fractal dimensions, their differencies and its advatages and disadvantages in many ways: geometric and numerical estimations. Fourth chapter is devoted to implementations of correlation algorithm to numerical estimation and it use to estimate correlation dimension of Lorenz's and Hénon's atractor. In the end of this thesis I recapitulated the results and compared it to results of other authors.

Neurotic symptoms of university students
KRÚPOVÁ, Lucie
This Bachelor{\crq}s thesis deals with the occurrence of neurotic symptoms in university students in relation to the form of study. The theoretical part outlines the actual field of neurotic symptoms. Its introductory chapters are based on the definition of the term ``neurotic,`` which is ``related to or resulting from neurosis.{\crqq} Individual neurotic and stress-related disorders are described here according to the MKN {--} 10 classification, i.e. phobic anxiety disorders, including agoraphobia, social phobia and specific (isolated) phobias, as well as other anxiety disorders, which include panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder and mixed anxiety and depressive disorder. Apart from phobic anxiety disorders this thesis also deals with obsessive-compulsive disorders, reactions to severe stress and adjustment disorders (acute reaction to stress and post-traumatic stress-related disorder). Another crucial chapter of the thesis is the chapter on stress. In this part I tried to describe the problems of stress in relation to the main topic of the thesis {--} neurotic symptoms. Here I deal mainly with the physiology and manifestations of stress. Because neurotic disorders are examples of a connection between the physical and the mental, the last part is focused on psychosomatics. Psychosomatics is described here as a science and somatoform disorders are also described according to MKN {--} 10. The conclusion to the theoretical part of the thesis, which is aimed at particular neurotic symptoms, is divided into two parts, the first one being neurotic symptoms manifested by a mental scheme and the second one neurotic symptoms manifested by a physical scheme. The practical part is focused on mapping neurotic symptoms in university students within a quantitative research according to my own questionnaire.

The practical implementation of these techniques we can find in the fourth chapter which demonstrates the interconnection of Gestalt therapy and Psychosomatics in practice. The spiritual approach in Gestalt therapy is described in the last section. This approach provides an unusual insight into the possible role of spirituality in Gestalt therapy
