Marketing concept management of development projects

The diploma thesis provides a comprehensive view of marketing activities of development company with already implemented development project Panorama City in Bratislava. Marketing attributes are important part of development projects with orientation of their customers, build their image, acquisition of market share and competitive advantage in the real estate market. All the above mentioned facts are analysed within my project The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate the strategy of the development project and looking at managing principles and strategy direction of other already implemented development projects. The main aim of is based on the facts from particular analyses to consider right or wrong seepage respectively find the best possible option for the management of the company on the market that develops along with potential customers. My project is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part is focused on familiarization with the basic concepts and processes in the area of construction the development process, analyze marketing environment and marketing strategies used in the construction using technical and scientific literature. In the second part-practical one focuses on analysis of specific Slovak development company and its already implemented a development project, and drafting strategies for marketing in the project. By applying a number of analyzes, which are blind, Porter and SWOT analysis highlight the results and findings after which it can be concluded any new variant of solution management direction and useful for other projects.

Design of deep excavation on the street Provaznikova

This diploma thesis describes the design and static assessment carried shoring excavation pit for the construction of a multifunctional building in Brno Husovice. Introductory part summarizes the basic input information on the area of interest, including outputs of engineering-geological survey and gives an overview of the options pits. The main part describes the design and assessment of selected variant of shoring, the subsequent evaluation of the results and the technological progress of construction. The proposed design is complemented by structural calculations and construction plans.

Brno – Žebětín Bypass - Technical Study

The aim of this diploma thesis is the technical study of the bypass in the city part Brno - Žebětín, which will be situated in the corridor of available urban land. As part of the study I will resolve the bypass connection to the existing road III / 3842 and the Hostislavova street around its intersection with Chrpová street. The proposal also takes into consideration the necessary connection to the possible residential area and the pedestrian access from the Hostislavova street. The project includes two alternatives, which differ in type of intersection designed for Hostislavova street. In the option - A a T-junction is designed, in the option - B it is a roundabout. The thesis also contains an assessment of these two options and more detailed technical study of the option – A.

Bridge over highway on a ramp

The proposal is for new construction of a road bridge over the highway.Three options of solutions were proposed but only the option of connected girder slab beam of six fields was selected. This variant was assessed by static calculation. Static calculation is processed in accordance with European standards. Another important part of this thesis is also drawings, visualization, technical report and construction procedure.

Restaurant dance floor shelter

In my diploma thesis I designed 2 options for an arch roofing of place for dancing next to the restaurant in Dolní Jablonná. The first solution was designed as a timber structure with internal supporting arch from glue laminated timber. The second solution was designed as a two pin-supported steel beam. These variants were predesigned and as the final solution was chosen the timber structure. I designed a rafter, a glue laminated arch, a purlin, an anchorage and field joints. The thesis is including drawings of the layout design, details and anchorage plans.

Observation Tower

The contents of this graduation thesis is design and assessment of the load-bearing structure of the observation tower situated between the village of Horni Lhota and Provodov. The construction was designed as a steel structure in two variants. Type A is cuboid shape with a side lenght ground plan 6,8 m and height of 37,7 m. Type B is an hourglass shape with a height of 39 m. Ground plan is a regular octagon shape with variable diameter. Detailed static calculation and drawing documentation was processed only for option B.

Excise taxes in the Czech Republic and in selected OECD countries and their impact on resource coverage of the state budget in the years 2007-2012

The thesis deals with the issue of excise taxes in the Czech Republic and in selected OECD countries over the period 2007-2012 and their impact on resource coverage of the state budget. The theoretical part consists of the basic concepts relating to taxes, their basic structure, including the advantages and disadvantages of various groups of taxes. Main part of this thesis is the analysis of excise taxes in the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany and the Slovakia which leads to a comparison between these countries. The hypothesis was that the Czech Republic levied excise few. Since this hypothesis is confirmed, the thesis contains a proposal for amendment in excise taxes which of the three possible options is chosen variant of the introduction of new taxes, the taxes on sweets. This part is undoubtedly the greatest benefit of the whole thesis. The work assumes that the introduction of this tax has had a positive impact on the state budget of 6-7 billion Czech crowns.

Tax aspects of social entrepreneurship

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to show different ways of tax optimization using the work opportunity tax credit. The thesis also sums up tax and non-tax aspects of employment of people with disabilities. Tax optimization options are shown in two examples. The first one assumes that disabled and their employer are supported by the Employment Department. In the second example, disabled are employed the usual way. The research subject is a fictional company ABAB Ltd. More profitable option of optimization offers tax saving in the amount of 576 000 CZK. The net profit of the company increases by 358 100 CZK.

Application of decision-making models in modernization of weapon equipment of the hunting association Borovy

The aim of this thesis on the application of decision-making models in renewing the arsenal of Borovy Gamekeepers' Organisation (MS Borovy, z.s.) is to select, using a method of multi-criteria decision analysis, a suitable hunting weapon that will best comply with the conditions under which the Borovy Gamekeepers' Organisation (a registered society) exercises its right to hunt and manage game and wildlife. The theoretical part of this paper focuses on weapons, in addition to describing models of multi-criteria decision-making. The second part of the thesis addresses the tradition of hunting and game management as well as various hunting methods, and introduces the Borovy Gamekeepers' Organisation, its hunting grounds and various game species occurring in that area. Subsequently, the author of this paper discusses the selection of a compromise option for a hunting weapon, using a suitable method of multi-criteria decision analysis. Based on the outcome of this selection, a recommendation is made on a suitable hunting weapon for members of the Borovy Gamekeepers' Organisation and the surrounding hunting grounds.
