Effective and transparent data backup
Milan, Ján ; Obdržálek, David (referee) ; Kopecký, Michal (advisor)
The thesis describes the implementation of an effective and easily manageable backup system for OS MS Windows XP and newer. Emphasis is put on the simplicity of defining objects to be backed up. Effectiveness has been attained by backing only those files up, which has changed since last backup cycle. Unlike most other backup systems, delta files are used during transferring into remote server. The main contribution of this thesis is unique mechanism used to create copies of old versions of files. These are created by moving the files itself into temporary storage, when the request to overwrite them arrives. Moved old versions of files are used as an input for creating delta files. Designed solution contains user interface which enable comfortable backup of user data onto a removable disk. However it may be used also as a base for backup onto a remote computer. The description of file system filter development among others summarizes many issues and best practices for developing in kernel mode and may be used as an introduction into this area.

Lukešová, Alice ; Sánchez Fernández, Juan Antonio (advisor) ; Mathé, Lukáš (referee)
This thesis is concerning four playwriters: Lorca, Casona, Alberti and Mihura. Although it is not common to discuss them together, selected authors were born, grew up and started to write their plays in the same period, influenced by the very same events. Thus they use their works to reflect the same social issues. Every author expressed his criticism by specific forms: tragedy, absurd comedy, avant-garde or poetic theater. The variety offered in their works enables to illustrate the society from different points of views, which can hence capture it as a whole. Fancy and interpretation differ widely among people, therefore criticism expressed through various forms, is supposed to interest a wide range of persons.

This paper is focused on a quite frequent topic of these days - the situation of foreign pupils at Czech basic schools from their own view and from the view of their classmates. How do the foreign pupils accommodate in the class? Do they have any difficulties with their different background? What does it mean for the Czech children when they are part of the multicultural class? What is important for them to integrate foreign pupils in their class? I looked at this topic from a holistic view, but I worked only with a small group of pupils - with a class. It enabled me to look at those relations more precisely. The class attended 20 children at the age of 13 to 15. Its society was very diverse. There were five pupils who declared themselves as foreigners and some other children have foreign relatives. Moreover, there are two mentally handicapped boys integrated in the class. I interviewed the whole class, let them write an essay and used a sociomctric questionnaire to get the data about topics meant above. What were the results? Honč, Petr ; Petráček, Tomáš (referee) ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor)
This research is primarily focused on the non-Catholic population in the domain of Trebic in the 17th and 18th century. A brief summary of the previous religious development in the above mentioned domain during the Reformation period and Thirty Years' War enables us to prove, that falling apart of the confessional identity had already been registered before the beginning of systematic recatholisation. Until then, the domain of Trebic had been a favourite refuge for the refugees from Bohemia. The description of the process of recatholisation in the town of Třebíč and villages of its domain is one of the key topics of this research. Another focus of this work is to demonstrate the contribution of the parish network in the frame of the Třebic's deanship, which was a key success factor for the recatholisation process. A second main topic, and a core issue of this work, is the situation in the domain after the October 1781, when Joseph II. put into effect the Edict of Tolerance. The emphasis is put on the adhesion of non-Catholics to one of the Protestant confessions tolerated by the State and on the challenges emerged as a follow-up. A rupture between Protestants regarding the choice between the Augsburg and Helvetic Confession almost ended hopes for their own congregation.
