Bank credits in the Czech Republic
Šturmová, Eliška ; Gebeltová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Jiří, Jiří (referee)
In my thesis I will explain basic information about general problems of bank loans in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, I explore opinions, knowledge and experience of people with borrowing loans. Research was set via questionnaires among respondents of all age groups and v properties. Acquired data has been evaluated, analyzed and grouped in tables and graphs. Conclusions based on these data are following: more educated people will less probably take out a loan. People with children and young people take out more loans than others. People who earn between 15 000 and 30 000 Czech crowns are the most common group which ensures the loans. Level of education has no effect on repayment of loan. Consumer loans are mainly used for living expenses and furnishings. People should take out the loans only in case of urgency and they should use credit disability insurance if there is a real risk of inability to pay. At the end I recommend to take out the loans offered by major banks with fixed interst rate. The most satisfied clients is possible to find at Komerční banka. Although Česká spořitelna offers one of the optimal loans and mortgages. It have also found that the majority of loan applicants borrow money only when it is absolutely necessary and they really prefer major banking companies. The most commonly used loans include mortgages and short term loans for housing-related matters.

Natural ecosystem restoration in cities
Doušová, Jana ; Frouz, Jan (advisor) ; Reif, Jiří (referee)
In this study I have dealt with the issue of urbanization and its impact on natural ecosystems by comparing the natural and urban ecosystems. Furthermore, the reasons for the inclusion of semi-natural ecosystems in urban areas and suggest the possibility of their restoration are explored in detail. The number of people on Earth continues to grow and proportion of people living in cities increases at the same time. Urbanization is often the result in an increase of biodiversity than surrounding landscape but the urban environments are similar between cities, this supports a process which is called homogenization. In addition, urbanized ecosystems often require more nutrients and extra energy. There are thus environmental, economic and aesthetic reasons for the inclusion of semi-natural ecosystems in the urban environment.

Behavioral differences in selected species of Callitrichinae
MÁSÍLKOVÁ, Michaela
This thesis is focused on comparison of behavioral differences in species of tamarins that form mixed-species troops and species that live in single-species groups. Costs and benefits of mixed-species troops are considered in general and in particular within the Callitrichinae. The behavioral syndrom approach is evaluated and its use on inter-species level is suggested for further research of behavioral differences in reviewed species.

Analysis of beef cattle herd
BRŮHA, Karel
The purpose of this thesis was to evaluate the level of performance of Aberdeen Angus beef cattle breed bred in Less-favoured areas in southern Bohemia. This evaluation was carried out on Mr. Lepša?s farm in the years 2010 and 2011. 74 basic herd cows and 108 purebred calves born during this period were selected for this purpose. The date of birth, number of births, age at first calving and the average time interval between calving were checked on cows and the date of birth, the weight at birth and the weight in the age of 120 and 210 days were checked on calves. Average daily increments in the interval from birth to 120 days of age, from 120 to 210 days of age and from the day of birth to 210 days were calculated. The group of calves was sorted out by following parameters. Year of birth; sex and year of birth; month of birth; order of calving of the mother. Microsoft Excel was used for processing the statistic data. Basic statistical characteristics for the monitored parameters were calculated and differences between groups were verified by single-factor analysis of variance (F-test) and paired t-tests for the corresponding levels of significance. Breeding cows were evaluated by age and number of births. Cows with 1 (23%) or 2 (17.6%) births are represented in the largest number in the herd including even the cows with 15 births. Cows at first calving reached an average age of 813 days and average length of the interval between calving was 393 days. Calves regardless of sex reached the average birth weight of 33.72 kg in the year 2010, 33.31 kg in 2011, in 120 days of age the average live weight reached 207.95 kg in 2010, 202.94 kg in 2011 and calves in 210 days of age reached an average weight of 309.61 kg in 2010 and in 2011 306.09 kg. Average daily gain of calves from birth to 120 days reached 1451 g in 2010, 1.413 g in 2011, between 120 and 210 days of age the average daily gain was 1413 g in 2010, 1169 in 2011 and in the period from birth to 210 days of age it was 1314 g in 2010 and 1299 g in 2011. Analysis of breeding from economic perspective by comparing revenues (including subventions) and expenditures in each year resulted in findings that the breeding is moderately profitable and it follows that without subventions which constitute an important part of the revenue would be difficult to realize this breeding.

Hodnocení vybraných faktorů životní úrovně v EU
Toulová, Hana
Toulová, H. Assessment of selected standard of living factors in the EU. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2015. This thesis is focused on the validity of GDP per capita as an indicator of standard of living by employing regression analysis on the gross domestic product per capita and individual factors that affect the population's standard of living. The situation is analysed in three States of the European Union. These states were chosen considering the historical context of how they successively joined the EU. The three States are France, Austria and Czech Republic. The main source of data for this analysis is the Eurostat statistics, but data have been collected from other sources as well. The information obtained from the regression analysis is used to assess the validity of GDP per capita as a measurement of standard of living in the corresponding country.
