Variabilita respiračních parametrů jako důsledek polohové segmentální diferenciace 2010 SUMMARY Work title: Variability of respiratory parameters as a consequence of postural segmental differentiation Aim of the thesis: To detect changes in breathing parameters depending on the position of body segments. Study is focusing on sitting and standing position, a research metodology a their measurements. The first part is focused on literature base of the thesis. In the second, special section, is making a research, where we panned respiratory parameters in the sitting and standing position. The aim is to compare the measured values between these 2 positions and make a conclusion. Methods: - Spirometry - Qualisys technology Results: Changes in respiratory parameters between sitting and standing were individual. Objectively, we found that in standing position against the sitting position increased on avarage values of vital lung capacity. Expansion of the chest in the sagittal plane measured by the distance of 2 points avarage declined in standing. Chest expansion measured by the area in the transverse plane in standing on average decreased. Conversely, increased chest expansion measured by the area in the sagittal plane. Junek, David ; Konečný, Lubomír (advisor) ; Macek, Petr (referee)
The houses doors and gates belong to discreet, but very significant monuments. There were more than 12 joineries in Polička, where 85 carved gates and doors were made during the period 40 - 80 years in 19th century and they were unique in whole Czech republic. 35 of them have preserved. Classicism appeared in Bohemia during the reign of kaiser Joseph II. (1780 - 1790) and it entered to Polička in 1841, when the buildings of schools for boys were built and faded until the eighties. The big town fire in 1845 caused outstanding classicist reconstruction. The publication treats on following topics very closely: The submitters - citizens of Polička - decorated gates were an subject of reputation. The joiners - there are the detailed lists of the masters and descriptions of their hoboes journeys. Construction of the gates and doors. The motives of decoration. Michálková, Jana ; Strejcová, Barbora (referee) ; Baláš, Jiří (advisor)
Title of master thesis Muscular strength and body composition in sport climbers Work objectives The main objective of this study is to compare the muscular strength and body composition in recreational and elite climbers. Methods Testing of 77 climbers who were devided into 3 groups was carried out on the climbing wall. There was rated muscular strenght by the motor tests and body composition by the bioimpedance. And their relation to the climbers performance. Results were evaluated by multivarite analysis of variance (MANOVA) Results Results of our diploma study demonstrated that climbers with higher of RP (8 and more UIAA) have lower weight (men 69,5±9,8 kg and women 57,7±4,0 kg) and body fat (men 10,2±2,3 % a women 17,4±0,8 %), higher static muscular strenght of the forearm and muscular endurance of upper limbs. The best results were reached at the tests with the bent arm hang (men climbers 68,1±22,6 s and women climbers 58,9±3,3 s) and hang on plinth (men climbers 61,7±19,2 s and women climbers 45,6±12,5 s). Climbers with climbing efficient 6-7 UIAA weighted averagely men 70,72±8,24 kg and women 64,77±5,02 kg. Percentage of body fat was 10,22±2,6 % for men and 21,13±3,1% for women. In the tests of bent arm hang and hang on plinth men hold for 48,44±12,4 s, 37,45±14,1 s and women hold for...

Biochemistry in High School Education
Roštejnská, Milada
In conclusion I would like to highlight the fact that I believe all aims were fulfilled. The results of the educational materials analysis show that there is none sufficiently suitable complex educational program on the market that could help teaching biochemistry at secondary schools. There are animations and presentations available on the Internet, but their level is far too high for the secondary schools. The animations are usually available only in the English version. The questionnaire investigation has shown that the vast majority of schools are equipped with basic computer instrumentation and other necessary equipment (data projector, screen) to be able to include the modern information technologies into the educational process. The teachers would welcome any teaching aids aimed on the Photosynthesis, Citric acid cycle, Metabolisms and Proteosynthesis. As the questionnaire investigation showed the most problematic parts of the biochemistry subject matter, I have prepared the educational text targeting these areas of biochemistry. This text was divided to form the basis for two tutoring programs: "Biochemical Processes in Human Body" and "Photosynthesis in Dynamic Animations". The tutoring programs are composed of educational PowerPoint presentations and Macromedia Flash animations...

Civa, Sezer ; Hnízdo, Bořivoj (advisor) ; Jirsová, Pavlína (referee)
I am going to argue that was there a cause an effect relation between collapse of Ottomans and reformation processes in Ottoman public administrative bodies whose actually resulted the redrawing of Balkan political map as the main product? Definition of the key factors of Ottoman's public and social structures are essential to understand its nature. Moreover steps which have taken towards the reformation those have all their characteristics. Modernity as a concept derived from superiority of European powers which made reformation process necessary in Ottoman Empire from military to all modern needs of society through the 19th century. Therefore timing of introduction of new rights could be helpful to evaluate my subject correctly, if they were voluntary or forced to implement. The connection between recent political, economic events on Western Europe and modernization attempts within the Ottoman Empire would illuminate the connection the appearance of Balkan nation states on Balkan political map. I am going to support my argument with following the time line and giving overall informations. The phenomenon I am going to deal with is mainly modernization and reformation process of Ottomans whereby the Ottoman's institutional, bureaucratic and military structures became the main concerns. The central focus and...
