The use of straight skeleton for the roof shape reconstruction from the laser scanning data
Ečer, Pavel ; Bayer, Tomáš (advisor) ; Lysák, Jakub (referee)
The objective of this study is to explore the methods used for automatic roof reconstruction so far and on the basis of this analysis purpose a methodology, which uses the geometric structure of Straight Skeleton for an initial approximation of the roof shape. In the first part of this thesis issues of automatic detection and extraction of building roof planes from laser scanning data are explored. Also, the Straight Skeleton is described in detail here and its potential for the construction of hip and saddle roofs is explained. An iterative approach which consists of deleting or moving appropriate points between roof planes using the principles of orthogonal regression is specified as an optimization method. In the second part of this thesis the proposed algorithm was implemented using CGAL (an open source library) and then it was tested on different data sets. In the very end, it is concluded that the use of the proposed algorithm on more complex types of roofs is inappropriate. The excellent results of the optimization of hip and saddle-shaped roof types are highlighted simultaneously.

The crime of habitual drunkenness under s. 201a of the Criminal Code
Vlásenková, Jana ; Jelínek, Jiří (advisor) ; Vanduchová, Marie (referee)
The offence of intoxication - article § 360 of the criminal code Resumé This final thesis deals with the offence of intoxication, possible approaches on to how to punish such offenders whose insanity causes their intoxication. This thesis points out some of the difficulties that could occur while interpreting and applying the law, and is trying to suggest a solution that better corresponds with modern legislation and legal principles. The offence of intoxication - article § 360 of the Criminal Code is actually a special offence based on a construction of the facts of the case, concept of Rauschdelikt. It was restored into our Criminal Code with the amendment of an Act in 1991, which replaced the previous full criminal liability of individuals who caused their insanity voluntarily. The offence of intoxication is an important criminal law theory for its attitude to a "liability for fault" principle, which the criminal offence of intoxication "breaks through" and extends conditions of criminal liability itself. Insanity is generally considered a condition that relieves the perpetrator of criminal liability, but not in the case of the offence of intoxication. From society's point of view it is considered enough to distinguish between the insanity caused by an inborn mental disease and insanity caused by another...

Regulation of Advertising of Drugs - Education of Consumer
Rojko, Ivan ; Durdisová, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Minárik, Pavol (referee)
The main objective of my diploma thesis was to explain the principles and basic terms of drug policy in the Czech Republic, and to illustrate all the issues of government regulations in this area. This paper is trying to confront two different kinds of health services. The first one based on liberal principles, without any government intervention (system in USA), and the second one demarcating with regulations and restrictions, devoid of any free market fundamentals (system in EU). It describes the relationship between patient and doctor, and points out the different number of information, they dispose of. This paper is trying to explain the problem of skewed distribution of information in society. It presents how the government regulations in the free market area destroy the source allocation efficiency and goes against the satisfaction of customers' needs.

From broadside ballads to Osvobozené divadlo
Vašková, Drahomíra ; Randák, Jan (referee) ; Kvaček, Robert (advisor)
This work analyses the development of broadside ballads, it researches its relation to historical events, and it looks on the possibility ofbroadside ballad to be one ofthe source of historian knowledge. The work takes notice even about the period of dying away ofbroadside ballads at he end of 19th century, when the function of recent news servi ce about social and political affairs take over not even numerous parodies ofbroadside ballads but also ballads of new rising cabarets and some avant-garde theatrical pageants. Broadside ballads are proofs of aH happenings that surrounded common people. They document not only Turkish wars, Napoleon's wars, Prussian - Austrian wars in 1866 but also natural disasters, slaughters, personal miseries and innovations. They are mainly documents of perceptions of reality, basic historical facts are aside. Broadside ballad is not an art work. Mainly it is more interesting by its structural scheme, pointed by language trifle. It is a work of unknown author made for the market. The ballad was mainly presented and sold on the squares. It use to have only approximate character, it was supposed to influence opinion of certain group of people. The ballad is not only the testimony of historical facts, but also about the character of the author and about the environment in which it...

Mbira - the musical tradition of the Shona in Zimbabwe
Šolcová, Magdalena ; Matoušek, Vlastislav (advisor) ; Slavický, Milan (referee)
In the traditional music of the Shona in Zimbabwe we often encounter a musical instrument called mbira. Throughout the country, it occurs in various forms. Generally speaking, it is a small instrument which consists of number of flat and flared metal strips (lamellae) fastened to a wooden board with a rod secured behind the board with a wire or nuts and bolts. It is held in two hands and played by plucking the reeds by thumbs and index fingers. The present study primarily aims to introduce the Shona musical tradition and the instrument mbira in both organological and anthropological points of view. In my description, I particularly concentrate on the type mbira dzaVadzimu, which plays an important role in the Shona religious ceremonies. The analytical part of my thesis deals chiefly with the rhythmic-harmonic structure of mbira pieces. In appendix, I show a set of mbira music transcriptions in my own variant of tablature and photo documentation taken during my study stay in South Africa. The basic sources of my information are my own experiences from southern Africa (mainly the personal contact with the Shona mbirists) and the literature listed at the end of the thesis. The ethnic group now classified as "Shona" originated from Bantu settlement of the high fertile plateau between the Limpopo and Zambezi...

The thesis contains the results of public research on the topic "point system". At the conclusion of this thesis is an analysis of time series of basic indicators of accidents on the roads of the Czech Republic supplemented by analysis of the impact point system for accident and its consequences on people's lives.

Landscape typology of the Czech republic
Romportl, Dušan ; Lipský, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Kolejka, Jaromír (referee) ; Hrnčiarová, Tatiana (referee)
29 number of framework was set expertly. The next step affected by author of classification is the choice of training objects. For each of the classes 5 objects were considered that cover the range of variability of natural conditions. However, their selection was also a affected by author's choice. Verification and comparison of the results of object-oriented analysis with traditional methods of pixel-based classification showed differences in the of classification methods. In the case of object- oriented analysis spectral information are evaluated for the whole object. The highly heterogeneous objects such information may be averaged out and the object is thus classified as atypical representative of a certain class. Pixel classification methods, however, assess the quality of each pixel of the raster, so that any heterogeneous objects are divided into several classes. Using the results of the supervised classification the accuracy of object-oriented classification has been confirmed, considering a few exceptions. 4.1 THEORETICAL ISSUES Serious question of developing comprehensive landscape typology is the purpose and reason for such action. Pedroli et al. (2006) points to a general demand for accurate, highly detailed and high quality representative spatial information on the status and development of...

Kapitola obsahuje popis procesu zavádění servisně orientované architektury a dále uvádí charakteristiky, kterými by měli služby disponovat.
