Graduation thesis "Utilization of Japanese Traditions in Missionary Work: The Beginning of Evangelization in Japan" above all disserts on the first Christian missionaries in Japan and on their ways of adaptation to Japanese cultural conditions. It aims mainly at missionary work of the Jesuit missionaries in the 16th and at the beginning of the 17th century. The thesis mentions (for familiarization) an overview of spiritual traditions and religious streams. It also refers about the propagation of Christianity since the 19th century until the last few decades and outlines the relation of Christianity and traditional Japanese spiritual streams.

The role of Ainu minority in contemporary Japan - a comparative view

The theme of this work is an introduction to the situation of indigenous people of Japan, Ainu, in contemporary Japan. At the beginning of this work I briefly comprehended the history of Japanese-Ainu relations from the very beginning until the resolution calling for the Recognition of the Ainu as Indigenous Peoples of Japan which was adopted by the Japanese government on the 6th June, 2008. In the next chapters I wrote about the Indigenous Peoples Summit in Ainu Moshir in 2008 and briefly summarized two related documents - the Nibutani Declaration and An Appeal to the Japanese Government. In the following chapters I wrote about the Role of Ainu minority in Contemporary Japan and about ways, how the Ainu culture is presented to the general public.

Impact of D5 highway on Rokycany development

Highways building and expressways in general has been taking place all over the world for tens of years. As one of the major advantages of this building up is almost automatically, except an improvement of traffic situation, mentioned the benefit to the regional development in concerned areas. However, there are a few executed studies of highways impact on the regional development and most of them are from abroad. The studies show that presence of highway has a different impact on each region. In peripheral regions highways rather further deepen the disparities between the core and the periphery. The town of Rokycany acts as a relatively strong centre for its hinterland and thanks to D5 highway as a suburban area of the nearby and ten times larger city of Pilsen. The traffic diverting out of the Rokycany centre was necessary even if the local shopkeepers can experience a drop of incomes. The local authorities and the major firms welcome the presence of highway. But we can't ratify development of Rokycany caused by highway D5. Development of Czech non-professional scenic dance 1968 - 1989

The bachelor thesis deals with the Czech non-professional scenic dance
during the years 1968 to 1989 and shortly introduces the situation in the
field in years before. It explains the system of institutions for nonprofessional
(not only scenic) dance and their scope of employment. It
considers the Czech non-professional dance as a complex subject with a
particular relation to the state system and to other cultural and art
disciplines. It summarizes the activity in the field and it introduces significant
representatives and actions, above all displays. As a point of departure it
mainly uses the periodical Taneční listy (The Dance Sheets) and therefore it
also provides information about the form and the range of reflection of dance
in that time. It points out head trends which were developing in various fields
of the Czech non-professional dance.

Life crisis of seniors

This thesis is composed of both theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of thesis is dedicated to life crises of seniors. It explains crisis itself and lists typologies of crises.It analyses crisis situasions, their causes and development. It also describes options of crisis intervention as possible help for a person in crisis. It dedicates to old age and ageing. It describes features of ageing, needs of senior, services for seniors and notes possible crises of seniors. The practical part is formed by qualitative research. Method of dialogue have been used in order to get information needed. The main aim of the thesis was to find out which life crises seniors see as most difficult and how they solved them. An intermediate aim was to find out whether moving to the home for the elderly is also seen as a life crisis or not. The research was done in Domov pro seniory Bechyně.

Regulation of the Tobacco Market

The Diploma Thesis deals with the regulation of the tobacco market. The first part is dedicated to the theoretical view on regulation. It describes the historical development of the different points of view on regulation within economic schools, then it characterizes different types of market failure and within those it shows possible solutions in form of regulatory measures. The second part of the diploma thesis deals with tobacco and tobacco products market. In this chapter the current situation on the market is analyzed and some trends are derived, the chapter also deals with the largest producers of tobacco products nowadays. The last chapter deals with current tobacco control legislation. The Framework Convention on Tobacco Control and current European tobacco control legislation are looked at in detail and there is a comparison conducted of the level of tobacco market regulation in different parts of the world. The last part of the thesis delivers the evaluation of the level to which the current tobacco regulation is in line with the economic theory of regulation.

Product Information Management - the fortune hidden in product data

The exceeding supply over demand and very hard competitive conditions are nowadays the main features of the majority of sectors. A successful company is the one that is able to satisfy specific customers' needs, the one that has efficient cooperation with its suppliers throughout the whole supply chain and also the one that is able to speed up the in-house information exchange. Thus the company has to seek constantly new and innovative solutions. This is not possible without standardization and automatization of business processes. This master's thesis is dedicated to one of the possible solutions -- the Product Information Management (PIM). Since it is intended for business managers (without deep IT knowledge), at the beginning it answers the question why it is so important to know master data and to manage it. It specializes in managing product data, brings its comprehensive overview and identifies the advantages and drawbacks of the implementation as well as financial and organizational impacts. The consecutive chapter deals with simplified yet applicable approach to data management analysis (with emphasis on the PIM) and based on research, it mentions main mistakes of the implementation. In addition to the overview of main vendors of the PIM solution, it presents the latest trends in the PIM. Besides internal data synchronization, the thesis analyses several product standards -- the fundamental step towards external data synchronization, the key topic of the practical part. The whole thesis is conceived to provide an organization with a simple yet compact and therefore very effective tool for master product data insight and thus to help it to gain a competitive advantage.

Financial analysis of company MINIB, s.r.o.

The goal of this bachelor work was to measure the economic situation of the company MINIB, s.r.o. and its development during the years 2003 to 2007. The base of the work are two parts - methodological and practical. The methodological part describes particular indicators, methods and techniques used fo the financial analysis itself and mentions their charakteristics and calculation formulas. The practical part shortly introduces the company MINIB, s.r.o. and then applies the knowledge from the methodological part on the company itself. At the same time the results of the analysis are judged and interpreted. The conclusion of the work than summarizes the whole financial analysis and proposes recommendations for improvement of the companies situation.

Diagnostika firmy Metrostav podle základních účetních výkazů

Bakalářská práce se zabývá diganostikou firmy Metrostav na základě finančních výkazů společnosti. Za použití vhodných metod finanční analýzy je hodnocen stav v letech 2003 až 2007. První část práce uvádí použitou metodiku, zejména horizontální a vertikální analýzu rozvahy a výkazu ziku a ztráty, analýzu cach flow, konstrukci poměrových ukazatelů výkonnosti, rentability, likvidity aj. a celkových indexů hodnocení firmy pomocí bonitních a bankrotních modelů. V druhé části je nejprve charakterizována společnost a situace ve stavebnictví v ČR a poté zobrazeny výsledky vlastní analýzy.
