Struktura a diverzita sekundárního tropického deštného lesa v regionu Ucayali, Peru
Patra, Lukáš
The bachelor thesis deals with the structure and diversity of secondary rain forest in the region of Ucayali, Peru. The main aim was to measure and analyze the structure and diversity of wood floors using technology Field-map. On the representative one hectare area was measured 3601 trees that were classified into 133 species and 48 families. These trees were then divided into five classes of height, eight diameter classes and into four groups according to the value of their timber. The highest species diversity and the highest quantity of trees were in the first three DBH classes and with an increasing thickness, they were descending. The average thickness of the trees was 35.3 cm and the average height then 18.9 meters. The most frequently occurring tree on the plot was Cumala (Virola flexuosa).

The bovine mammary gland is the main production unit of dairy cattle. Due to its exploitation is often threatened its integrity and homeostasis. Therefore, mastitis are most common health problem of dairy cattle. Significant defensive elements of bovinne mammary gland are leukocytes: neutrophils, monocytes, macrophages and lymphocytes. The structural characteristics of these cells are closely related to the functional parameters such as migration and phagocytosis. Therefore, the work is focused on the structure and ultrastructure of these cells in the blood stream and in the ductal system of the mammary gland. The work also describes the pathological structure of these cells, including terminal stages of cell's life: necrosis and apoptosis.
Word Order Patterns in Old and Modern English
REHÁKOVÁ, Zuzana
This thesis focuses on the patterns of the word structures in Old English and Present Day English. It is based on an analysis of two different texts. The theoretical part of this study concentrates on the evolution of the language itself which, is vital for understanding all the changes that have occurred during the evolution of English language. Different sentence structures and word order patterns are analysed in the practical part. I chose the poem Beowulf, because it is the best preserved work from the Old English period and a book by the author Agatha Christie who is a world-famous writer of the 20th century. Samples were selected from both written texts, and analysed with a focus on the word order patterns of different types of sentences (simple sentences, subordinate clauses of time, purpose, manner, conditional, etc.).
European External Action Service: Study 3.089

Effect of different management on the production and structure of biomass in the Mlýnský potok catchment (Lipensko).
TRUHLÁŘ, Martin
The aim of the thesis is to compare the production and structure of biomass (the proportion of grasses, clovers and other plants) in selected scythed and pastured permanent grass areas in the Mlýnský potok (Mill stream) basin. The monitored area is situated on the right bank of Lipno dam in Pasečná land register, 784-820 meters above sea-level. There were established three permanent sampling points in the pastured as well as scythed area in Mlýnský potok basin. Four samples of biomass from the area of 1 sq m were collected in each of these sampling points. In 2012 the samplings were collected on 20th June and 11th September. The collected biomass was then divided into agrobotanical groups (grasses, clovers and other plants) and afterwards it was dried and weighed. In the concerned area, the production from the pastured growth was considerably higher than from the scythed one. Structure of biomass, i.e. the proportion of grasses, clovers and plants, was in both areas comparable, only clovers in the scythed area had greater rates dispersion.

The Use of Autoregulation in the Management of Organizations
Kressl, Josef ; Kovář, František (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jiří (referee)
Institutional organizations are characterized by countless states and processes which take different values over time. This behaviour expressed by a change is a response to impulses and dynamics of external as well as internal environment. The changes may take different character, some of them can have a negative or almost destructive effect and therefore it is necessary to prevent such states. An adequate tool for reduction of these negative processes is management representing fundamental methods and activities for administration of an organization. Since the interpretation of the word management is broad, the main goal of the paper is to find such a concept of administration, which is not only a set of isolated activities, but puts facts into context. Such defined concept should adequately signalize possible changes of a state and evaluate them before they lead to cumulative and synergistic effects. A particular solution is seen in the autoregulation of an organization, which mainly on the principle of causal dependence and feedback can determine its further behaviour. This phenomenon may be considered common with open systems but for the purpose of this paper it is necessary to identify if it is possible to organize a system so that it is able to provide feedback expected and also if it is able to adapt the system in time. In order to fulfil the goals stated above some organisational principles have been formulated. They enable organizations to make use of autoregulation on the basis of available information of theoretical as well as practical nature. Then this concept is applied in a specific environment of an institutional organization and then it is verified if autoregulational mechanisms can effectively not only support and maintain a state of an organization if adequately arranged, but also activate a continuous process of a change, which have been demonstrated in practical applications.

Kučírek, Josef ; Gullová, Soňa (advisor) ; Klosová, Anna (referee)
The thesis examines the trade policy of Brazil and its impact on the international position and trade of the country. Despite having come to the fore of interest of the whole world, both political and business, there are still numerous areas to be improved. The thesis evaluates trade policy tools used by the country to promote exports and limit imports, integration efforts in the region and in the world, and the effects of particular government provisions on the reality of the trade relations and results. The analysis points out structural and systemic failures together with deliberate barriers, such as high level of bureaucracy or complicated tax system. Although Brazil promotes free trade, its trade policy proved to be highly anti-import.
