International comparation of review systems in public procurements

The subjects of thesis are the review systems in public procurements in the Czech Republic and France. In the introductory part the basic terms of the area are defined after which follows general discussion on the control and its possibilities. After that detailed description of both systems follows and the work is finished by the comparative analysis, which points to some advantages and disadvantages including several recommendations for the Czech Republic.

Development of the environmentally friendly forms of tourism in the tourist region of Šumava

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to analyse the development of the environmentally friendly forms of tourism in the tourist region of Šumava. First of all there are characterised basic terms dealing with the issues of environmentally friendly forms of tourism and with the tourist regions. Then the chapter concerning the tourism development in the protected landscape areas and national parks follows. A chapter considering the characteristic of the Šumava region is also included, it describes general information about the region, the offer of the environmentally friendly forms of tourism and also the institutions occupying with this issue. A questionnaire survey is also a part of the thesis, it focuses on the awareness and the interest of the environmentally friendly forms of tourism in the Šumava region. Considering the findings of the survey the author analyses the development of the environmentally friendly tourism in the tourist region of Šumava and proposes measures leading to effective tourism development.

Central controlled economy in Czechoslovakia in the period from 1949 until 1960

The thesis is focused on the central controlled economy in Czechoslovakia in the period from 1945 until 1957. The main role of economy at that time was the fastest possible rehabilitation of the economy destroyed by World War II.. The political situation was undoubtedly setting the trend in the economical development. Postwar decision in the matter of the future optimal economic mechanism was a political choice and the political influence was a significant feature of the central directive economy during its existence. The thesis is focused on the main aspects and conditions of the economical transformation, on the general attributes of the central controlled economy, organizational structure of the national economy, scheduling of production and consumption, formation of prices and wages, on the changes in the banking system and the public finances in Czechoslovakia during the mentioned period.

Institutions for Leisure Time Spending of the Youth up to the age 18

The diploma thesis deals with the institutions for leisure time in the capital city of the Czech republic. This is a House of children and youth, whose founded by the capital city of Prague.The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and part of the research. In the first part of the thesis is defined by the concept, development and function of leisure time and different views on leisure time. Is indicated here, what does the pedagogy of leisure time mean. A large section is devoted to institutions and institutions for leisure time. Defined forms of institutions for leisure time activities and their functioning. In the theoretical part is explained what is meant by universal institutional structure, which is an important basis for institutional analysis in the research section. The research part of the thesis deals with the characteristics all the information about the House Children and Youth in Prague 7. The most important part of the research is the analysis of the institutional follow-up to the House of children and youth. The aim is to assess whether and the extent to which the institution carries out its percent of the mission. In the final discussion summarizes the recommendations that could lead to improve the operation of the institution.

Basic unconditional income in the Czech Republic

Aim of this thesis is to analyze the economic connotations of BUC implementation in Czech republic. It quantifies impact on State finance, Gross domestic product and typical families. For purposes of quantification there was developed economic model which follows the system dynamics principals and it enables to develop unlimited amount of scenarios.

- Comparative Advertisement - the development of regulation in the Czech legal order The topic of this thesis is Comparative Advertisement - the development of regulation in the Czech legal order. The thesis is composed of six parts. Part One is introductory and identifies the goals of this thesis. Part two deals with the concept of advertising in general. I defined various categories of comparative advertising as well as various other types of advertising that can-not be considered as comparative. I described also superlative advertising and its aspects as well as the special term " dryáčnická" advertisement, which is a rather humurous section of the Part Two of this thesis. Part Three describes the history of comparative advertising in the first Czechoslovak republic ( i.e. in the period between 1918 and 1938), nevertheless the term " comparative advertising" in today's meaning cannot yet be used in this period. When writing the Part Three, I focused mainly on the Act against Unfair Competition of 1927, and on interesting case law from this period. I also focused on unfair competition in connection with misleading advertising in this period as well as on the no more existing Aero car brand advertising that can be considered as a good example of what is today called comparative advertising. Private Equity and Public Stock and Bond Offerings as Business' Financing Arrangements

This thesis inquires into the problems of funding businesses by means of so called alternative financing arrangements, i.e. by Private Equity and Public Stock and Bond Offerings. The first section involves basic ideas and characteristics of the Czech capital market and its structure. The following three sections deal, in sequence, with particular means of financing. They comprise theoretic aspects of particular financing arrangements as well as analysis of advantages and disadvantages to businesses, resulting from their application. Furthermore these sections provide for characteristics of situation in sectors of these particular financing arrangements within the scope of the Czech capital market and detect potentials to improve it.
