Tato práce se zabývá tématem fúzí a akvizic v odvětví informačních a komunikačních technologií. V první části obsahuje obecné vymezení a klasifikaci fúzí a akvizic a definuje generický proces fúzí a akvizic v obecné rovině doplněný o praktické poznatky. V druhé části jsou uvedena specifika týkající se samotného odvětví informačních a komunikačních technologií a analýza transakčních dat ve světě i na českém trhu.
