Wireless Communication in Home Automation
Prokop, Michal ; Gutman, Jiří (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about how to make wireless communication network by IQRF technology which is intended for a home automation. It’s created by using DPA custom handler. This network can be made without programming thanks to DPA custom handler. This wireless network is realized by light model that is controlled by coordinator or by a button on a node. After that I measured latency and energy consumption on several various synchronous network and asynchronous network.

Control unit for IRC system
Mališ, Martin ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This bacheleor’s thesis deals with design of control system for temperature regulation in family house. System is designed for individual room heating and consist of one control unit and several thermostatic units, which are situated all over the house. Control unit is central element of heating system and it uses ZigBee technology in comunication with thermostatic units
Wireless electronic security and surveilance system
Vichta, Michal ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is engaged in proposal and implementation of wire less safeguarding system. The proposal is consisting from study of single components wire less safeguarding system like for example: detectors, central, GSM communicator and mobile station. The bechelor is engaged familiarization of technologies for formation sensing element networks and proposal (principal) diagram wire less systém of familly house. For realization wire less network is exploit standart IEEE 802.15.4 ZigBee on a frequence 2,4 GHz and radio outside on a work frequence 868,3MHz. Beside terminal arrangement and near co-ordinator is exploiting Zigbee program units from Meschnetics company too. Next to radio outsider is exploiting wire less base extension station from Satel company. Both of wire less are connected with a central of wire less safeguarding system and conseguently connected with GSM communicator from Satel company, whitch on is concernig abouth sendings of messages abouth loom of wire less safeguarding system towards to user on mobile station.
Impact of Communication Parameters on Energy Consumption of Zigbee Devices
Popelka, Jan ; Červenka, Vladimír (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the energy research and design a simple wireless sensor networks. The data modules with ZigBee wireless communication technology. The main feature of wireless sensor networks is the minimal energy devices at low cost and maximum data reliability. Furthermore, the work describes firmware for communicating nodes with the ability to change parameters of data transmission and thus affect the energy consumption node. Calculations of energy consumption, compared with the measured results, the discharge characteristics of the battery packs and lifetime broadcasting node is contained in the final chapters of this work.
Lighting control system using a wireless communication network
Levek, Vladimír ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create and describe the wireless system for lighting control. A part of the work is the creation of modules for switching lighting and the creation of their operating programs. The first chapter briefly describes the way how the lighting control works and contains general requirements for the intelligent home. Further, there is a description of IQRF system, which serves as a wireless platform for the system. Next part of the thesis describes individual modules in terms of hardware and software. One part of the work covers the description of the transmission protocol. The attachment includes a listing of all operating programs for this wireless control system.
Wireless Security and Surveillance System
Výborný, Jiří ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with design and construction of a wireless security and surveillance system in ZigBee wireless networks (IEEE802.15.4). The design consists of creating a star network topology with intended monitoring of home area via end device boards paired with coordinator board, which provides basic networking functionality. End device is used to send data from a temperature sensor DS1631 and magnetic reed switches to coordinator. ZigBee module ZDM-A1281-A2 made by MeshNetics company embedded on each board contains a micro controller ATMega1281 and a transceiver AT86RF230 working in a 2,4GHz frequency band. System is able to notice of any door or window move actions and too high temperature. The non-fully functional ZigBee stack, which is called an Open MAC software, based on MAC (Media Access Control ) layer and PHY (Physical) layer from MeshNetics, has been used to develop the user software. Open MAC consists of three application samples in C code. One of them was modified by the user for an application of communication between the module and sensors. The same design with module RC2204AT made by Radiocrafts company was tested as well, but it couldn’t be executed. All developed boards have been constructed and tested via Terminal PC program.
Motivation of Volunteers Performing Canistherapy
BERANOVÁ, Diana
Abstract Voluntarism has recently been a more and more spoken point, and it has been popular with people of various ages in the society. The aim of this thesis: The Motivation of Volunteers Practising Canistherapy, is to find out, why the volunteers engage exactly in canistherapeutical activity and what is their main motivation. The next intention is to find out, in what way the coordinators of a particular programme work with the motivation of the volunteers and how they develop it. Within this thesis there has been defined another research issue: Why the volunteers devote their free time particularly to the canistherapeutical work, and one more partial research issue: What is the way the coordinators work with the motivation of the volunteers. The Bachelor thesis has been divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part has been completely devoted to the topic of zootherapy, mainly to its historical development. Next it has been devoted to the canistherapy itself, mainly to its participants, forms, techniques and its use in the society. Another part deals with the voluntarism from the point of view of choosing of the suitable volunteers, training of the volunteers, organisations that provide with the voluntarism in the sphere of canistherapy and coordinators of particular programmes including the helpful supervision. Last but not least it the part about motivation, mainly about the motivation of volunteers and its reinforcement. In the practical part there has been used the qualitative research strategy, the method of questioning and the technique of focus group. The selected set N1 has consisted of the volunteers who have practised canistherapy at least for 6 months and the set N2 have been the coordinators of the particular programme. The number of respondents in the set N1 is ten and in the set N2 is five. The data has been processed via the content analysis of dialogues. There have been addressed ten volunteers who have devoted themselves to voluntarism in the sphere of canistherapy for more than six mohths, so they have the necessary experience. The results of the research have shown that mainly women are engaged in canistherapy. The main motivation of the volunteers for practising of the canistherapeutical service is mostly their dog, that they want to devote their free time to, but at the same time, these people want to engage in the sphere of voluntarism to help other people. Another inspiration for the volunteers, have been their friends, who had practised canistherapy before. From the research there also arises that this activity enables some personal benefits, i. e. getting new skills, experiences and information that the volunteers subsequently use and consider them to be very highly-valued. These personal benefits subsequently lead them to the very important motivation. The research also shows that voluntarism has very strongly influenced the life of the volunteers and their sight of the world. Mainly from the point of view of reappraise of their life priorities, they consider mainly health to be really important. They also realize that the free time they invest is used to good purpose. At the same time these respondents want to devote to canistherapy in the future. The thesis can be used as motivation for other potential volunteers, who would like to take part in the process of canistherapy. Thanks to this thesis more privates than so far could be involved into canistherapy and also more organizations that are able to support voluntarism in this sphere. The public can get some more information about this activity and engage more in this sphere. The training canistherapeutical association Hafík, in which the research took place, is going to be provided with this thesis, because they have been interested in it.
The integrated systems influence on public transport economy
Vrbík, Ivo ; Kubálek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kubálková, Markéta (referee)
The objective of this work is focused on the process of integration of many segments into one integrated system. I show this integration on the example of South Moravian Integrated Public Transport System. I explain how it is possible to reduce costs and make integrated segments more effectives.
