Single-cylinder Minicross Engine
Havlen, Prokop ; Svída, David (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
The first part of this thesis describes the different systems of the refill cylinders in two-stroke engines The second part introduces the issue of motorcycling class minicross and its specifics. In the final part is presented the construction of a modern two-stroke engine, which can be used for motorcycle class minicross. In the individual chapters are sketched design of the crank mechanism, gears and automatic clutch. Detailed analytical calculations are attached in the appendices at the end of the text in source code form.
Design of Diesel Aircraft Engine One-cylinder Engine with Contra Rotating Pistons
Svoboda, Tomáš ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with design of crankshaft for two stroke opposed piston diesel engine. In the theoretical research part a history, comparison with competitive engines in nowadays light aircrafts and the advantages of opposed piston engines are mentioned. In the practical part the balancing is chosen and CAD model of crankshaft is designed. Geometry of this model is than checked for fatigue damage fallout. In the final part was chosen the propeller and appropriate reduction gearbox.
Increase of Charging Efficiency of Two Stroke Engine
Mainuš, Jiří ; Maršálek, Ondřej (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The diploma thesis introduces a design of a construction alteration whose aim is to increase the injection efficiency of the given two-stroke engine. The first chapter deals with a construction solution of the replacement of cylinder charge. The following chapters focus on the procedure of creating a 3D model of a cylinder unit through reverse engineering. Furthermore, the thesis contains a CFD simulation of the fluid flow including the evaluation of the results and experimental measurement on an aerodynamic track.
Increasing Single Cylinder SI Two-Stroke Engine Performance
Stejskal, Miroslav ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with two-stroke engine design modifications to enhance its performance parameters. The introduction summarizes the various solutions of two-stroke engines. The next part deals with design modifications of the engine power, their implementation and subsequent modification. The work includes strain and stress analysis of the piston, which includes a complete indication of pressures in two-stroke engine. The achieved results of FEM analysis were used to design better piston geometry.
Innovation of built-up crankshaft for minibike engines
Doležal, Lukáš ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Hanuš, Stanislav (advisor)
The present diploma thesis deals with innovation of built-up crankshaft of Blata minibikes. Minibike is the type of a small two-stroke motorcycle equipped with an internal combustion engine of the volume 40 or 50 cm3. The machine is designed for racing circuits; not only for young riders but also for seniors. The innovation is in the design and verification of pressed connections in the imposition of major pins in the arms of the crankshaft. Pressed connections are designed on the basis of the analysis of force interaction on the crankshaft at maximum revolutions. The proposed solutions are verified by FEM calculations. Based on the results, the best option is selected. For the selected option, the impact of force interaction at maximum machine performance is studied. Finally, on the basis of these facts, designing, technological and economic analysis of feasibility of new production technology is carried out.
2-stroke Engine for Small Motorcycle
Hlaváč, Štěpán ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Rauscher, Jaroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis contains an engineering design of a two-stroke engine for small motorcycle. In the first part, the background research of these motors was made. Main dimensions of the engine and a calculation of the forces acting in crank mechanism were determined. Further check stress analysis of connection rod and calculation using a finite element method were performed. This diploma thesis also includes virtual 3D models of all designed parts and a drawing of cross section of the motor.
The future of gasoline two-stroke engines
Kříž, Jakub ; Komenda, Lukáš (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
My thesis deals with the historical development of two-stroke petrol engines from the very establishment of a two-stroke cycle, mapping the technological development of these engines up to present day, where, in the second half the attention is devoted to the direct comparison of two-stroke engine and a four-stroke engine in the field of ultralight aircrafts.
Piston group of a one-cylinder gasoline engine
Lux, Josef ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with a piston set of the internal combustion engine. The main goal is to perform strength check analysis of the internal combustion engine piston set using analytical methods of elasticity and strength. Cultivator PF-62 was chosen to determine the basic parameters of the crankshaft mechanism and plot the force distribution. Results of the strength check analysis are evaluated in the final part of this thesis.
Piston for Two Stroke Motorcycle Engine
Král, Jiří ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This bachelor work deals with a proposal and construction solution of a piston for two stroke motorcycle engine. The thesis is focused to basic dimension of piston, strength calculation of the main stressing places of piston and some possible construction enhances. Part of this work is also short summary of development for two stroke motorcycle pistons.
Cylinder unit of motocycle two-stroke engine
Stejskal, Miroslav ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Miroslav STEJSKAL Cylinder unit of motorcycle two-stroke engine In the beginning is briefly described two-stroke engine features. Furthermore, according to the set of basic geometric and thermodynamic parameters, the maximum pressure in the cylinder during one engine cycle. For the selected operating modes are carried out strength tests of the upper piston and connecting rod eye. In conclusion, the results are evaluated.
