Kuhnová, Barbora ; Jenčková, Eva (referee) ; Kittnarová, Olga (advisor)
My thesis is focused on the entire history of the Czech Music Society. This work is divided into two main parts. In the first section I deal with the history of the Czech Music Society from its very beginning to nowadays and in the sccond part I concentrated on the organization structure of every single part. The Czech Music Society is a voluntary independent association of people who are interested in music. The organization concentrates primarily on music education, musicology, interpretation, publishing and so on. It organizes a lot of activities in connection with music, for example courses both for professionals and amateurs, lectures, workshops, concerts, music summer camps and excursions. Its own history dates back to 1972 when the preparatory commission was established. The organization officially started its activity in 1975. The range of activities was truly wide. After the Velvet revolution in 1989 the Czech Music Society had to tackle serious financial problems. The members have tried to solve these problems, unfortunately without any success. The Society will cease to exist by the end of the year 2006.

The main focus is on the period from 1867; this year was the catalyst for the major development of Czech middle schools. Briefly mentioned are the changes and restrictions caused by the First World War; there is also a section dedicated to middle school education for girls. The second chapter concentrates on specific areas of middle school education, such as: who studied, and on what terrns; programmes of study; the curriculum of individua! subjects. The structure of the school year and the daily school time-table is also examined. Detailed study has been made of marking and the context and demands of final exams. Furtherrnore,...

T.G. Masaryk' s view of the function of religion in the civil society
Horák, Karel ; Pelc, Bogdan (advisor) ; Ovečka, Libor (referee)
ANGLICKÁ ANOTACE DIPLOMA THESIS TITLE: THE OPINION OF TOMÁŠ GARRIGUE MASARYK ON THE FUNCTION OF RELIGION IN THE CIVIL SOCIETY AUTHOR: Karel HORÁK SUPERVISOR: Bogdan PELC ANNOTATION: It is to be stated that the current postmodern Czech society does not pay much attention to the heritage of the first President of the Czechoslovak Republic, Prof. Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, nor it takes much efforts to understand. Moreover, the rising generation has hardly any cognizance, what was the importance of the personality of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk for our state and for the Czech society. The secularized Czech civil society of the beginning of the 21st century perceives the heritage, left by one of the most important personalities of the Czech, European and world history in his life and works, with certain constraints. The main objective of this thesis is to give a transparent survey of Masaryk's views on the function of religion in a civil society, proceeding from the assumption of a very quest, based on the existing and actual facts that are known about Masaryk's life and work. In the first section, the life story of Prof. Masaryk is described. It is not, however, a pure listing of biographical data. This section aims at "clarifying and illuminating" that nebulous cloud, shrouding the person of T.G.M. for present-day...

The possibilities of using nanoparticles of various metals as the markers for immunocytochemical labelling in field emission scanning electron microscopy
EIBLOVÁ, Veronika
Nowadays, electron microscopy is a widespread method used in many biological branches like medicine, physical science, mikrobiology or material technology. Scanning electron microscope is a type of an electron microscope that shows the sample surface by scanning it with a high-energy beam of electrons in a raster scan pattern. The signal of electrons reveals information about the sample such as morphology, chemical composition and structure and materials. Gold nanoparticles are widely used as a marker for immunolabeling in these days. The main point of this research was to find other nanoparticles, which can be used for multiple immunolabeling. The main task of this study is to conjugate these particles with atibodies, to use them for immunolocalisation on the convenient biological sample and to observe it in FESEM JEOL JSM-7401F.
